Lovely fox painting! The 3 colors makes it seem so simple. Looking forward to trying it. Love the bloopers! You got the giggles and gave me the giggles! Thanks! I needed that this morning.
Can’t wait to see this on your Patreon! You’re the best instructor and I benefit from your patreon. The progress photos, detailed instruction are appreciated
*giggling* Louise you my Dear are a Pure Delight ! Love your fox & I shall give this a go . But your endings are such a treasure *hehee* A lesson & a giggle is priceless * Keep 'em coming Doll 😊 Friday Blessings xx
Dear Louise, I think it’s about a year now that I joined you as a patron on Patreon. It was, for my personal water colour adventure, the best decision ever. All my relatives and friends can see the tremendous progress I have made THANKS TO YOU. I love the quiet, relaxed way of explanation and working because after all, don’t we do this for our pleasure? With tinnitus in my head, painting like this is a great relief and I can forget about it (and the world around me ☺️). So many animals and flowers I already painted with you and I’m still looking forward for many more to come. Thanks Louise! And never doubt yourself. You have got style! This fox 🦊! 😍
Love the Fox. Louise, and I look forward to the Patreon tutorial. The background is perfect for this painting....your style shines thru. I know that when you do a full landscape, it will be wonderfully "Louise". Your Bloopers are great....brings lots of giggles.
That's gorgeous! I like where you are going in your watercolor journey, so I'm tagging along! I really like this fox and am looking forward to the tutorial.
This is so beautiful. It’s beyond my skill level at the moment but I’m setting this as a goal for myself. I’m going to keep working and learning and come back and give this a go when I feel capable of it.
Just beginning to watch this, must break to search for a Christmas tree!, back soon. Love the expression on the fox, this will be a fun one to work on. Thanks for doing the fox, Louise!💜💛💚
Yes Time is an issue. I’m excited I signed up on skillshare and will be painting your tutorials and God willing later next year I will do Patreon. Tfs. Love your work
Louise, really nice including the distant trees. One of your comments, when you were adding background trees, kind of made me laugh at myself hen you said that “you really did not want to mess the painting up at this stage.” How often I think that when adding a touch of detail to an otherwise completed painting. Again, a really nice watercolor! Robt
Your tutorials are always so professionally and beautifully done. I appreciate your openness about the things that challenge you; it's helpful to know that someone as talented as you struggles at times as well. I encourage you to do more backgrounds as you demonstrated here. I never feel my paintings are complete without them, and find them the most challenging. Thank you for sharing this demo--it's beautiful.
Stunning! 🥰 your paintings are very fresh looking! For landscapes, I truly love work of Oliver Pyle, his landscapes are out of this world for me, remind me of your beautiful animals in a way, are you familiar with Oliver's work? 🙂
I look forward to doing this from your Patreon tutorial. We have these little foxes living in our wooded neighborhood here in Tennessee, U.S.A. I've noticed the palette you used in this tutorial is one I've seen in many of your tutorials. Do you know who made it? I'd love to find one like it. Thank you, Louise!
26 July 2023. I love your paintings and your tutorials. I am thinking of joining at £2 per month but I am unsure of what I can access for that level. Can you advise please?
Thank you! The middle tier $6USD is where you can view all of the tutorials. The $2 USD tier is more of a 'donation tier' where patrons have access to the newsfeed where I put occasional informational posts - not video tutorials though.
The background turned out great! Lovely painting 🥰 Thank you so much for your videos, they are always so beautifully done. You are a wonderful teacher 😊
That background is absolutely stunning, Louise! Wow. I've come to love Ultramarine and Burnt Sienna because of you. 😉 This fox painting will be the first of yours I'm going to try and do myself! After watching many hours of your tutorial videos over the past two years, I believe this painting (with its limited palette, using several techniques, a looser design, and a simplified background) is the perfect way to start! And I have a fondness for red foxes, as my maiden name is Vos - which means "red fox" in Dutch. 😊 Thank you so much for sharing, for your husband taking the time to edit, your positivity, transparency, and humor, and for boosting my creativity! Blessings ❤
I love that you show the bloopers at the end. It shows your wonderful personality. Love your work!

Louise, your bloopers make me so happy!!! LoL Your awesome!
This is wonderful. You did an awesome job with the trees too!
Thanks Monique. Much practise is needed. 💕
I liked this painting alot. I like how your paper remains fully flat and devoid of any warping/ buckling even after painting.
I just love this! I would love to see you do landscapes with some of your work too! You are amazing!
I LOVE this AND that you put him in a scene, not just by himself, and please do more scenes. Love the simplicity and it's stunning!
I can’t wait to see the fox Louise and your bloopers are so funny. It reminds us that you are human. 💙
*giggling* Louise you my Dear are a Pure Delight ! Love your fox & I shall give this a go . But your endings are such a treasure *hehee* A lesson & a giggle is priceless * Keep 'em coming Doll 😊 Friday Blessings xx

Thank you Agun. Me too! He's one of my favourite landscape painters.
Sooooo fab! I know you shy away from detail these days, but mine end up looking cartoony without it…
I look forward to doing this from your Patreon tutorial. We have these little foxes living in our wooded neighborhood here in Tennessee, U.S.A. What is your rigger brush here? What a great point!
It's a Borciani Bonazzi Unico Infinito series 856 size 2/0.

Thanks Julie. I subscribe to Steve. I love his channel and I adore his spontaneous landscapes.
Oooo loving that background! Fabulous softness and totally says forest.
I never think about having lost edges. It makes your picture that much more interesting. Thanks for sharing.
