This is a good video! My brother and I are currently working on a mega campaign. We are playing ck2 right now (sure to move on to eu4). As much as I like Vic3 as a newer game I don't think I could choose it over Vic2.
True. I am currently myself playing my campaign in vic2 with great success. I haven't yet figured out vic3 to a good level and there is a converter ready for vic 2 at the end of the road. wise choice.
For me it is just like City Skylines 1 or City Skylines 2. I have played the first games in their 1000s of hours, the second game only a few 100s hours. The older game has been out for longer, meaning there is over a decade of official content, DLCs, mods, fixes both from official and moders, there is no big preformance problems with the first game, all the problems have kind of been hammered out ages ago, you know what is up, it is like going to your living room. 2nd game is a new game, it was buggy, it was glitchy, preformance issues, it had many new things in it. Yet the older game has the charm and the fun factor, the new game feels kind of barron and sterile. There is no way near the same level of content for the 2nd game as in the first game yet. There is like a fraction of the mods to that game. Yet it has its own things going on. But still, normally ending up playing the first game. Wait like a decade and than comeback, because than the game will be flushed out, having its own mods and DLC. Its own flavour so to speak.
@@persiangameguide When it comes to mega campaigns, CK2, EU4, Vic2, Hoi4. Some might end it there, some go to Stellaris, I do not think Stellaris is a such a big of a deal. I didn't like the game after 2.0 update. So indeed. Vic2 is the more flushed out experiance.
Victoria III is a boring game with ugly interface and characters, braindead AI and the core of the game is worse than it's predecessor, and in general does not work, clunkier than a 14 years old game. I would love if Johan had done Victoria III instead Imperator. Europa Universalis V will be to EU4 players what Victoria III is to who likes Vicky 2.

True. Ofcourse it is very soon to judge. So do you agree for the propose of mega campaigns Vic 2 is the better option ?

Hope not but paradox has been releasing flops for a while now. We can only pray they don’t fuck this one up… at least EU4 is fun if they do.
