      Since then he has wanted to just be left alone, he still get revenue from Amazon because he still owns it, but CEO Andy something takes over all the legal stuff and controls the whole narrative now, until such time Jeff wants it back, but I doubt it, he wants to live out the rest of his life on a yacht with beautiful woman or women lol /sigh lucky man.

      The costs of participating in the traditional Vine program cost more to them. The lower-cost mini-version is much less painful financially for them. This explains the influx of Chinese "Alphabet soup" items Vine reviewers are complaining about.

    Anyone with some common sense and basic grasp of psychology will avoid a product with great reviews generated from free products. The psychology of leaving a review for something you got for free is completely different and cannot be deemed credible , i don't care what anybody says contrary to that , it's just true. What business brain at Amazon thought of this disaster ?

    • @skunklabs_official
      @skunklabs_official  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It works to an extent. People don’t quite understand what the vine program even is so most just glance over it. Some don’t even look to see if they are verified or not

    • @JesseCase
      @JesseCase 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It may be true for some people, but that's not entirely true at all. I even use to feel the same way myself about Vine reviews and wouldn't even read them, until I actually became a Vine reviewer. If it's a bad product I will absolutely wreck that thing in the review and I always give my true feelings whether good, bad or indifferent. A lot of sellers will even say that they feel that Vine reviewers are more critical and picky that an average person. We go into more detail of the product and will point out a lot more than an average person, which is supposed to be our purpose. However there are definitely people in the program, and I see them all the time myself, that write reviews that sound like a hyped up robotic infomercial. The easiest way to look at them is if the reviewer talks in a normal and relaxed way in the review, then you can trust them. If the review is written like a professional infomercial script, then I would ignore the sh!t out of it.

      I'm a Vine reviewer. I see some other Vine reviewers giving overly positive reviews. There is no real incentive to do this, but it happens.
      However, that's not the whole story. Many other Vine reviewers are very honest, and give straight reviews.
      I also evaluate the credibility of Vine reviews on a case-by-case basis. You can usually tell when there is a very honest voice speaking.
      As I come to understand this program better, I am feeling more and more free to tell it exactly how it is.
      That said, I am still aware that there are human beings trying to make a living selling their products on Amazon. I'm not going to take lightly saying something negative. I feel a responsibility to be fair, both to the sellers and to the readers.
      If there's something wrong with a product, I'll say so. It's only fair to the readers. The same applies to positive aspects of a product.
      I'm arriving at a balanced approach that feels pretty good. So I think Amazon has something valid going on here. My reviews have become very centric and responsible.

    I found out that they invite people randomly based on their reviews, then after a few years they will find an excuse to get rid of you to invite other people instead, then it will go round and round like a circle, whilst this can be positive as you get free products, you can't really sell them for 6 months and on top of that, they wil discard you in the worst way possible, by saying your reviews suck basically and we no longer want you. This is how they treat the public and consumer, they don't care about you your family or your pets, they only care about money and making money, and what's in their best interest not .
    If I were everyone I would stop reviewing in total, because they control your reviews and what you say, they are no longer freedom of speech like they used to be. We vote with our wallets, stop reviewing and stop giving Amazon your time. Trust me on that.

    • @skunklabs_official
      @skunklabs_official  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      We see why they wouldn't want you to resell the products within a certain time period. Keep in mind that when brands sign up to this program their expectation is that the products won't be resold. Obviously this happens off of amazon on platforms like ebay. I HIGHLY advise not reselling ON Amazon as the brand will have a serious issue with that. From our experience some VINE reviewers have been great while others have no business reviewing products. We have a large sample size to back up this opinion and the system is broken on both sides. If people would buy products they actually want to use and the sellers of the products put out a quality product, everyone would be happy in the end. But it's not a perfect world by any stretch.

      @@skunklabs_official Well I can tell you for a fact Amazon are getting more harsh on vine users to make better reviews and if you keep getting flagged as breaking the 1 of millions of rules they warn you then you get banned. They warned me today lol
      I see how it is, sellers spend £120 on Amazon vine to put upto 30 slots of products in one slot, then if vine users give out bad reviews sellers just argue with Amazon and our reviews get taken down and we are warned, what is the point of vine reviewers if you cannot be brutally honest? a product can be so crap yet Amazon expect you to minimum give it a 3/5 I've had to up my reviews and Amazon are happy with it.
      See where I'm going with this? Amazon are terrible.

      IDK. From my perspective as a Vine reviewer, the program has some validity. It has some flaws, sure. But it's not in the interests of truth to exclusively emphasize the flaws or the negatives, and ignore the positives.
      There are positives, and the whole-truth perspective includes those.
      I see this all over the place - some people cherry-picking only the negatives, and some people cherry-picking only the positives.
      The truth includes both.
