    Great video and thanks. It is nice that you can live your dream. Brought back memories of being a youngster (5-6 of age) in Norfolk VA during WWII and our mom would take us downtown by bus. My dad was overseas serving in the Army and we had no car. I enjoyed putting the coins in the receptacle for a fare and/or seeing the driver punch our pass. During that time I wanted to be a bus driver and with a bus stop at the corner several houses from ours I would ride my tricycle to meet the drivers who if running ahead of schedule would get out and relax for a few minutes. My mom would give me a tin plate and I would go around the house pretending I was driving a bus. One Christmas I asked for a bus drivers ticket puncher with holster which I did not get!! I will be ordering several N scale buses for my downtown city scene. Thanks for producing a city bus and bringing back some memories. Do you have plans for any Greyhound ones.?

    I drove School buses (BlueBird and International) for 8 years and transit buses (New Flyer) for six. I can't imagine driving cross country in that beast. The old heads I talked to said it needed a lot of upper body strength to get around corners. I rode in the NewLook buses for years in high school & college.

    I had a Pen pal in Manitoba Canada in H.S. She was HOT ! I was a nerd back then. An original Star Trek Nurd back then and even more so. I think your bus needs better seats,recliner type seats,at least make them look older but actually recliner type. I think its great you are promoting the hobby . Sadly,many older Train guys are passing away and their equipment is getting sold piecemeal on Craigslist and E-Bay. I see much of it being sold pennys on the dollar because there isnt enough younger guys starting layouts. I dont have room for one now because we downsized. I had a beautiful N-Scale Southern Pacific railroad layout modeled in Utah. It was mounted on an old Bar that was given to me. I had a dust cover made that was made from heavy vynal . I need to find the photographs of it. Oh,I am subscribing to your channel.

    Ken Keysey is smiling down on you brother! Haven't even finished building my Blue Bird TCF yet, but still hope to get a New Look TDH before I'm dead - For now My Rapido TTC HO I ordered 3 years ago still front and center on my bench as inspiration. I still think it is a beautiful model worth every penny - in these days where everything seems to be disappointing crap when you open the box .. There's just something about getting something twice as good as you could have hoped for.
    I suspect there are those who would claim that your trip is just all about the marketing .. and certainly no crime if that happens to fall out of the tree and you can catch a tax break too - but I know what you really are. I've got your number. Freakin' bus nerd.
    Not certain how you got bit .. for me it was a kindly driver on the Runnymede line as a child who would let me wear his hat and operate the door, (Hmm what year? Still standee windows and no ad boards as I recall) .. or was it just the sound of the Jimmy out back and the way the front would swing in a turn? No matter .. it's incurable anyway.
    I urge you to be careful however .. the disease may progress into (blue and grey seat trim) Hawker-Siddeley T1's .. and eventually the round window garbage train that kindly took so many last call drunks in the late 80's before health and safety went wild.
    Of course if that happens .. I'll order them too.
    I am however envious .. you're riding my bucket list. :)
    @18:40 .. I remember those wooden post bus stop poles .. May be wrong but the last at Park Lawn and Berry Road. As I recall they were dark green, red bands, and white background - but I may be wrong.

    Sorry! This Historic 1967 "New Look" Bus Is Limited To 85 Km/H ( 50 MPH Or Something) We Would Go Faster If We Could! ( That Thing Needs A Engine For A MCI D45 CRT )

      @rapidotrains  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We are looking into retrofitting a new transmission at least. Should let us get up to 100 Km/H or more! 😁
