You need to watch the whole show. You can hear the dual rhythm and lead parts. And you can hear his rhythm guitar during solos. Who ever said he wasn't playing is wrong. You can clearly hear both guitars
Finally a correct comment... Max is 50 years now and has been on tour like whole his life non stop and still gets crowds moving better then most younger bands for sure! Just saw Soulfy this summer ago and Max still got it!

where did Max's neck go? On the serious note, I've been a fan of Soulfly since I can remember and I had the privilege to see them live 3 times; 2003, 2006 and, I think it was, 2009. All three times I had chills runing down my spine the whole show! Watching their new shows, I can say I'm dissapointed. Max can bearly move enough to play the guitar and despite me not approving their new sound the rest of the band is doing a great job! I can't believe I'm about to say this but Max is currently the weak link of Soulfly. Well, at least I had the honor to see the best Soulfy line up at their prime time

Sepultura was great with max. They sucked after he left. But soulfly kept making great albums. It just shows who was the main song writter in sepultura. He formed soulfly and it destroyed all the new sepultura with Derrick green. Soulfly is awsome

Yeah it's really bad. The weird thing about this is that he definitely can still play. Maybe not arise at full speed but you can see him play some sepultura songs here on youtube where he did only guitar and vocals. Was part of a livestream I think. It's so weird that he can still do it but he just doesn't. Maybe he doesn't have much confidence in himself so he doesn't want to play live anymore but doesn't dare to leave the guitar away.
