This song will always remind me of how much I miss my youth... We grew up on the generation that saw then biggest transition in modern technology. Back then was all about feels.

The funny thing is, this song is 14 years old but is still one of hmong most underrated hits of all time. Hmong folks didn’t understand about modern raps before R.AR.E entered the picture. Yet they remain the most modern and best hmong rappers ever. No hmong person has top R.A.R.E formula. Its sad, we didn’t learn from them for evolution. When I was snowboarding in the mountains, I was chillin' on the gondala and this korean guy got on with me, and then this song came on and he heard it and was like "I love that song man, do you know what he's saying in english?" and I said no, then he grabbed out his iPod and played it out loud and started translating it into english for me, I was so amazed and bewildered at the same time that we boarded for the rest of the day and smoked maryJane. had so much fun...

When I was snowboarding in the mountains, I was chillin' on the gondala and this korean guy got on with me, and then this song came on and he heard it and was like "I love that song man, do you know what he's saying in english?" and I said no, then he grabbed out his iPod and played it out loud and started translating it into english for me, I was so amazed and bewildered at the same time that we boarded for the rest of the day and smoked maryJane. had so much fun...

so moving but still these youngies still trap... we all still rep our last name and blood line.... I understand.... but that gets too deep with the old folks and it influences us but to me I see we are self motivated as much as a unit but history and hmong society now still proves we haven't come together.
