@@justjack3075no all I did was just well force restart I googled up how on my laptop and you have to do the button that puts the volume downs first then the other one then just hold the power button for a while if it doesn’t work try again

Hi. This vid seems to have helped many- well done.
I have iPad Air 3 and NONE of this excellent video or any other video advice worked for me and the cause may be unique to my device eg hardware. I did not try a ‘factory rest’ as I’m not competent enough to trust my back up skills!
I do not know why, but by simply LOCKING SCREEN ROTATION works for my iPad. If anyone is desperate, maybe try it- it’s certainly simple and only a little inconvenient. If anyone knows why this works I would be very interested. Good luck all.
