it's kind of badly designed, and hard to get/unlock (obv, turned toward paying. expected) but having more trait than the default one to further empower you is nicei guess. i've acquired my entire purple build and i now struggle unlocking and maxing out trait, because of the cost. unfortunately i am healer so i at least need the max health traits to survive (currently around 7.5k health, up to 9.8 with all max health trait maxed out), and it's annoying to go through. you have to spend so many hours of play time to get crumbs. there is no content beyond repeating 1 star dungeon (or now 2 stars), leveling up to level 50 takes absolutely no time and you're left with nothing once achieved... and they plan on releasing cross server siege and 12 player dugeon in 4/5 month... no wonder the player count is dropping fast
@@Vaareth Ya its like a watered down crowfall. Just like in Crowfall the pve content was just there to die and drop resources. But the pvp is lacking there was 24/7 point capturing in crowfall and no paid trait system but they both suffer from getting to the end to fast and just doing the same thing every day it drives players to other games.
@@Vaareth Crowfall shut down due to players getting tired of playing doing the same thing over and over and New world dropping around the time players had gotten bored. TL is having a similar burnout the only thing that may keep it around a little longer is the free to play
@@CamwayGaming yeah. devs nowadays don't understand gameplay loop and reward to keep players coming. instead having a rich environment and quests they rush to end game "content" and stats management (which is boring)
