Felt like it was super glued or mega loctite. Why do that? When you know most people are going to throw a red dot on it. Took it to a local gun shop. They were too busy to actually try. They then referred me to this local gun smith who has a shop. The gentleman was at least 70 ( age added for context) He took the screw out in 3-4 minutes if that. I was panicking to say the least 😂
Regarding the dead front sight issue: this is pervasive among Sig's X-Ray line of night sights. I had the same issue with my P365XL and it was the same thing, they offered to replace the front sight with a functioning one for free but only if I sent in the slide for them to do it. Does Sig have a relentless ongoing quality control issue? Are they selling so many of these that quality is being sacrificed for sales quantity? I own many guns, no Sigs and cannot reconcile the things I keep hearing/seeing about the Macros.
I just bought a Sig 365x and the front sight on it is dead also. Called them over a week ago said they would send me a new one for replacement. I called them to see where we were at they said they’re on backorder they must have a lot of bad sights. Also their magazine release is ridiculous almost impossible to remove a magazine. But this little gun shoots so well I’m going to forgive them.😊
No I actually traded the macro comp in towards the tacops. The only difference I could tell was as the blast coming from the comps and maybe tad faster follow up shots. They both shot pretty much the same for me. I just like to keep my comped gun for gun games and non comped for defensive use. The original macro is an excellent pistol though, I just like the tacops better. Sorry it took so long to get back. I just now saw where it said this was from a month ago. They just now sent the notification of a comment. TH-cam is weird man.
That’s weird. I just made this comment last night and I see also it says from a month ago. Lol. Yeah I was just wondering if you got rid of the comp version because the tacops maybe shot better because of the longer barrel.
@@jackripper6033 that’s wild. accuracy wise I didn’t notice any difference at all. Question on mags in mag cases. Will they fit snugly in a mag case for doublestack like glock 19, or is it better in a leather mag case for single stacks like glock 43? I am looking at desantis leather double mag case.
It’s way too small for a 19 kydex holster. I have found they are a bit snug in some leather for 43x but not all. They actually fit pretty good in most leather I have tried. Hope it his helps bud.
@@livennick9 Yes, you were very helpful, thank you. I ordered this to qualify off duty for my Dept as my new EDC. I am rushing to order a holster and mag case that’ll fit. I appreciate the quick response. Great videos by the way, keep up the good work.
Sweat guards usually are, mid or short. High seems to be rare, and people tend to cut them down. I still think tall is better for a quick ship holster since you can cut it down. As for the size complaint, they can order any grip module (Sig, Armory Craft, Wilson, TD, Mischief Machine, Shalotek, Icarus, etc) and then you can swap it to that, easy as pie. As for customer service, never had an issue. They have always been super cordial, if there is a misunderstanding, I just clarify what I was asking, and they help find the answer. Not as good as Wilson, or Trijicon customer service, but it's definitely not the worst CS I have dealt with. Glad you are enjoying the pistol though, I am personally pestering Wilson for a Macro frame. Once that comes out, I will definitely snap one up. I have also considered seeing if you can cut the Macro frame to fit a XL 12rd mag...saw a picture and thought it might be a really nice package.
Me too on the wilson frame. Are you here in Arkansas too. I’ve had several of their 1911s and AR platforms for many years and to me their just the best company all around to date. I have two of their edc x9s also and are an absolutely amazing 9mm. I bought a sfx9 when they released it and didn’t care for it near as much as the original edcx9. They are good dudes for sure. All of them.
Honestly it’s a great pistol but the 43x is a lot nicer for carry. I’m currently checking out how the hellcat feels to carry. Now it is pretty dang nice in my opinion. The first one was total junk. I’ve never been a big Springfield fan but being the size and factory round count it is I had to give one a second chance. I’m glad I did. I’m definitely normally a Glock guy.

Man, do the mags get any easier to load? I never felt the need for a mag loader til now...... i feel like im old and weak..... haaaaa..
Same here man. Naw they don’t get much easier to be honest.
@livennick9 dang, well I may run by academy and pick up a decent loader. I can usually get all but the last one in.
@@juanhuttoe4517 same here. It’s always the last one since the beginning. Do t get me wrong it does get a bit easier but definitely not that much.
👍🏾
You have a link for that 43x holster referenced for the tacOp?
Awesome
Damnit boy! If your cleaning dongs at the range I’ll swing by some time! 🤣🤣🤣
😂 yah I almost cut that out because of TH-cam’s crazy rules but I thought ah to hell with it.
Is this worth upgrading from a 43X with S15 mags or just meh?
Honestly it’s a great pistol but the 43x is a lot nicer for carry. I’m currently checking out how the hellcat feels to carry. Now it is pretty dang nice in my opinion. The first one was total junk. I’ve never been a big Springfield fan but being the size and factory round count it is I had to give one a second chance. I’m glad I did. I’m definitely normally a Glock guy.
Im seeing all sorts of videos complaining about Sig Customer Service. 6-8 weeks on a sight replacement???? We’re you an armor previously Nick?
Yea sir. It’s pretty wild.
Anyone know what holster to use for the Tacops I cant seem to fine one
I use the blackpoint that is made for the original macro. Fits like a glove.
@@livennick9 I ordered the same one gets here tomorrow thank you!
Love your content as always my guy!! I mite trade in my dr920 for it if they give me a good price! Lol ima heavy guy and the full size jus uncomfortable to me. Good shooting as well!! 💯👍🏾
Thank you bud. It’s definitely smaller than the dr920 and thinner too. It’s pretty slick in my opinion
C.S. at Sig is a sad deal. Once it was amazing. But it's still better than HK! I don't get the rust complaints. Maybe today's manboys just don't know how to treat their stuff. Look how everybody talks about how you should never disassemble or clean your firearms!
From a size perspective, how do you like carrying this versus the 19?
It’s pretty much the same size as a 19 but thinner. The thinness makes a difference. The extra two rounds is a bonus.
My front sight was dead too
Sorry bud. They are great pistols but seriously need to ramp up their QC department in my opinion.
Yes Sig has had lots of bad front sights on the 365's. I wish they also offered orange front sights on the 365
@@Asidebar man you and me both. My wilson edc x9s have orange front and to me I pick it way faster than green
You sound like a pragmatic guy who thinks like I do. I view my guns as tools and I use them. No "babying" them, no safe queens, none too pretty to shoot.
Exactly. They are what they are. As long as they do the job excellent that’s all I ask of them.
New to this. And I never knew about Wilson combat finishes. Great option for any hand gun to keep rust away. 🫡🫡
Yes sir it definitely is a great choice. I can vouch for their finished 100%.
