What is the method to know God ? How to know God ? How to get knowledge of God? Whom should we ask about God? Many such questions are faced by a seeker on the spiritual journey.

How then do we get knowledge of God? Whom should we ask, “Who is God, What does He do?” Who will answer these questions for us?
Using appropriate examples, Swamiji explains in this video that we can not get the knowledge of God from worldly people as they do not know for themselves. In principle, we can approach a God-realized Saint to know about God. But then how do we recognize a God-realized Saint? Instead, can we ask God about Himself? How will God answer?
Swamiji explains further that God has answered these questions in “the Vedas”. Ever since God has existed, His Bliss has existed and so is His knowledge, the Vedas. Just like God is eternal, the Vedas are eternal and they teach us the eternal science of God-realization. Continuing with his discussion, Swamiji says that the Vedic knowledge has come through “Parampara” or the disciplic succession (knowledge received through ears), starting from the first-born Brahma in the material creation.
