The banner said " We missed you". That's why they are crying. They have focused on Japanese promotion like concert and songs. After a long time they returned to Seoul to start their Asian World Tour. Sones are waiting for their return. They returned with the concert and that's melts my heart.

@@효지-f2m I believe the video is also from the DVD. So you can expect that SM will put another layer of the original audio so it sounds more “perfect” they always do that when it’s the DVD versions, and they put more layers when the live vocals are not as good as they normally would (like voice cracks) but I think they leave some songs out 100% live (like the baby baby ballad ver. bc I heard sooyoung’s voice crack and they didn’t polish it) Another example is when they sang twinkle in the same concert. The part that Jessica sang was just the audio of the original TTS member singing (on DVD), but Jessica was actually singing it if you find a fancam. and I believe the reason to that is bc when they released the DVD ver Jessica was not in the group anymore which is bs.

For both Baby Baby and Complete, the girls cried because Sone were holding up papers saying "Let's go on for a long time" (Baby Baby) and "We missed you" (Complete) since they had not seen Korean Sone in a long time. Basically they were moved by the events Sone prepared for the concert.
Honestly, there's no concert that they didn't cried because that's the only time were they can spend their time alone with sone and they said that their concerts are their comfort zone.
They cried on Complete because of SONE event. At that time they were busy promoting at Japan for almost a year and when they returned to Korea, korean sone welcomed them with a sign "Welcome back" and "We miss you" also in Baby baby performances, they were touched with Sone event that's why they cried.
The only Sunday service I'm attending religiously.

Singing live is one of the biggest flex of SNSD. These girls can sing 💯💗
For me Taengsic's harmonization is still the best in kpop. They're just unrivaled
SNSD has a very strong vocal line. That's why they have 2 main vocalist Taeyeon and Jessica.

This concert was held in July 2011. There was a concert in Korea in February 2010 and Girls' Generation was released "Hoot" in November 2010.
Since then, they have been continuously active in Japan and had not performed music activities in Korea. Korean fans have long had to listen to their music on Japanese television shows or Fancam.
And finally, the concert in Korea concert in Korea...Girls' Generation members are said to have been anxious that the hearts of Korean fans might have gone away. For your information, "Complete" is the first fansong( a song for their fans ).
I thought Honey was the first fansong, as Taeyeon called the fans 'honey' back then in 2007-2008, and sone was the first word from the song 'honey' too.

Fun fact: NO GIRL GROUP HAS EVER PERFORMED A COVER OF THIS SONG COMPLETELY LIVE ON MUSIC SHOWS OWING TO THE DIFFICULTY OF SINGING AND DANCING AT THE SAME TIME TO ITNW'S DEMANDING CHOREO.
Wait Cherry Bullet did a Live practice where they did the full dance and all vocals LIVE with no mics so no processing or anything and they did amazing. Please check it out those girls deserve more!! :D

@Lifted Sailboat its more like the show's management decision nowadays and its sad 💔 like current girlgroups actually have beautiful voices and the way that it shines when its live like in concerts is not the same feeling when you watch it on tv shows. 💔
an example of that would be there would be certain shows that have slightly "cleaned" taeyeon's performance in the past like you can't hear that satisfying raw taeyeon voice with its signature full color 💔

Into The New World is the only Debut Song that still remains iconic, legendary and relevant in South Korea. It is dubbed as Korea’s National Anthem. They use it for motivation, for training system, for protests, and many more. Many says that almost no one doesn’t recognize the song. That’s how powerful ITNW and SNSD is.

Jessica and Taeyeon owned Complete...it's the song that gives us what could've been if SM debuted them as sub-unit.during the chorus part Sica and Taeyeon's voice stood out..I believe they were the only ones singing live during the chorus part..and Sunny is the most underrated vocally. she almost always stable and hit her notes perfectly.
One thing that I will never regret is being a SONE and staning GIRLS' GENERATION. I will always be forever SONE. Such amazing women. Very beautiful inside and out. #GG4EVA. Thank you sir Austin for always reacting to OUR QUEENS. 😍😍😍
During Baby Baby, Sones' banner says "let's go on for a long time"
For soshi concerts, sones usually plan a special event for the girls. During a particular song, they will hold up of a sign for the girls. In this case "let's go for a long time" and "we missed you". These signs were organized by sones and distributed just before the concert and the girls do not know of these events. They r crying because they were touched and caught off guard when everyone in the stadium suddenly holds up a touching message for them.
Snsd have the best concerts it warms my heart how much love and appreciation sone & snsd show to each others whenever they meet 🥺💜
They got emotional in the last clip because it was their first concert back in south Korea in a very long time (I think they've been promoting in Japan for over a year and were pretty much inactive in Korea during the time) and the fans arranged a surprise with the those banners saying "we've missed you"

Yup. And I don't read Korean, but I think I read somewhere the fan signs all said, "We've missed you," or something like that. So the members were touched.

For the Complete performance, sones held a banner saying "we missed you" bc SNSD were in Japan for a long time for their 1st Japan Tour so when they returned to Korea they started their 2011 Tour and sones made that fan project
I love their ballads because are so amazing and sentimental, when hear their voices together I'm feel like in heaven. Jessica and Taeyeon vocals are incredible 😍
the baby baby ballad version is a part of a concert i think in 2013 Seoul. the signs sones were holding said (obviously in hangul but translated) something along the lines of "let's be together for a long time..". i don't remember the specific reasoning as to why this fan event was arranged, tho. the fan event during complete was obviously a different concert in 2011, and the signs said something along the lines of "welcome back / happy to have you back" because they'd been in japan for a long time and this was one of the first if not the first concert they had in korea in a long time. i'm not too sure, some older vet sone might know better, but i do believe that's the gist of it :)

Fact: Taeyeon is the only main vocalist of SNSD based on the range and powerful of their voices followed by Tiffany who is good in the low notes and rapping.Jessica is good in hitting high notes but can't sustain constantly.Therefore, Taeyeon is the main vocalist because of her amazing/powerful teachnique in singing.In conclusion they are the best KpopGG. SNSD is the only nation's girl group who really deserved that title.

Usually in the concert there is an intimate section where they are singing ballad and sweet songs with pretty costume. On this section, fans usually give some surprise fan events, by holding up banners containing sweet message for the girls (some comments already mention what the banner said). This is where SONEs and SNSD sharing our loves and connection, knowing that we are standing for each other. The tears SNSD and SONEs shed at that moment are tears of joy, love, gratefulness, and happiness for having each other, not the bad tears. 😄😄
Both Baby Baby and Complete are the last song for the section, that's why they are going to backstage, and they will back to the stage for Encore Section with happy songs, casual outfit (T-shirt and short) and more interactions with fans. This is when they end the concert. We end the concert with happy feeling.
ITNW is on the encore section. That's why they look so casual.
Don't worry. Those are happy tears. They are crying because the audience surprised them with the message banners they are holding. "We miss you"
The way you said congregation in the beginning of the video reminded of a few years ago when my friends' parents told him to learn how to play worship songs on the violin and instead he learnt Gee, we still call SNSD our goddesses because of it lol

If I remember correctly, the message the fans were holding during the 'Complete' performance was "Welcome Back" as it was the girls first concert back in Korea after they toured in Japan
THE BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF SNSD AT THEIR OWN CONCERT GOES TO INTO THE NEW WORLD WITH ACAPELLA VERSION because no one can top the harmonization of Taeyeon and Jessica from the beginning 😭 It sounded like heaven 😭
Fun fact: Sooyoung was supposed to be a lead vocalist before Sunny joined SNSD. She's also a lead vocalist in her group in Japan before debuting as Snsd member.
Even sunny almost debut as Main vocalist with Ahyoomee in Kpop Girl Group Sugar.

Kinda hard for Sooyoung to NOT be a lead (at very least) vocalist, her previous group was a duo!
I’m really confused with this “fact”, where and when has this been confirmed? Like I know Sooyoung can carry her own when it comes to singing like everyone else in the dance line, however, basing from their debut song/album, Yuri was obviously the one with technically harder lines as a dancer (i.e., sharing a line with Taeyeon and the only member from the dance line to sing a line along with the vocal line in INTW, and even had more lines in total that Tiffany in the album).

Sones always had like a “fan event” during SNSD concerts where they would hold up messages towards the end of the concert. Those messages were always so touching to the girls that’s why they usually cry when they read them. During baby it’s says “Let’s go on for a long time”. As for Complete, the girls had just come back from almost a year in Japan promoting and doing their concert tour. The message says “Welcome back, we missed you”.
My bias is hyoyeon too ☺..miss them so much ❤

into the new world a cappella intro is always the best. can never get enough of it. the blending of their voices, the harmonisation. love it.
I think snsd is one of those rare groups who have so many ballad songs since all of them display good vocals. My most favorites are definitely complete and forever.
I think you have to react to the "130721 SNSD Into the New World (Acapella Ver)" fancam on Allen Sone channel. Where the whole stadium venue were singing ITNW demanding for encore then the girls came out and did it. It's amazing.

Long time SONE here. This performance is one of my favorites but I have some qualms about it.
1. The entire acapella section was lipped. You can hear the difference in audio quality.
2. Taeyeon, Seohyun, Hyoyeon, and Tiffany were the only ones who sang completely live (minus the acapella).
3. For some reason, they dubbed over Jessica's parts in the verses and bridge, but then showed her live vocals in her most difficult part (the adlib at the end). Sunny was also partially dubbed, which is wild considering she has 1 line and did awesome.
4. It's WILD that Hyoyeon was 100% live (and she did so well) when she's objectively bottom 2 in vocals. I don't get what went through the editor's head when they made these decisions.

The reason why they cried in the end of baby2 was because they were touched by whats written on the fan event banner that the fan hold (you can see that everyone hold a paper) but too bad i dont remember what it said sorry :( of course it usually a sweet and comforting words full of gratitude from SONE to them
