Just today,the Songjiang south Railway station expansion project has began.A new high speed rail will through this station,and Songjiang south station will be the second largest station in Shanghai.
I like your accent and pronunciation of Chinese names. Sheeshian is the best ;) I would recommend if possible to work on pronunciation a bit as from what I see you live pretty long in Shanghai. About Caolu, there's good to exit Gutang Road Metro Station. In fact, Caolu Station is the one that is unfortunate to exit considering "attractions" nearby. At Gutang Road you can go to Baolong Square or walk across Minyao Road or visit Jinhai Wetland Park. Just tips for the future :)
I wouldn't say like that. I also got great impression of foreign-style town in Jinqiao nearby Tai'erzhuang Road Station. Near Puze Road, North/Middle Yanggao Road there's a residential area that seems to be Vienna or Paris like, at least to me.

Thames town is the only successful foreign style town in Shanghai.
