While I do agree with you on the winner I still think you were down playing kakazu a little. He was able to catch a swipe by bijou mode yugito and punch down those big ass gates at the temple so I think his physical strength is a little higher than what you said. You have to kill him 5 times and 1 of his hearts got destroyed by a lightning blade while he was off guard which I think most characters would have died to it as well and another was taken out by hidan when kakazu had kakashi and shikamaru and choji and ino in a pretty bad spot so neither of those I feel like he could have done anything about. And him getting one shot by a rasenshuriken doesn’t make him weak by any means it’s a damn rasenshuriken which are stupidly overpowered and again I think most characters would not be able to tank a rasenshuriken. Still enjoyed the video and agree with you on the outcome just think it would be a little tougher for jiraiya then you.
People seem to miss the fact that before he was caught off guard, jiraiya was doing extremely well against pain. He didn’t get hit a single time until after he thought the fight was already over.
Pain only attacked him directly once and Jiraya caught him offgaurd with sage mode. Pain didn’t know he could power up but it didn’t matter as Jiraya himself implied Pain was faster than him and that caused him to run away, so don’t hype him not getting hit. He didn’t get hit because he ran away lol

Kakazu is a character completely assassinated by limited screen time. It's a shame, I always felt he had such a cool power set compared to a lot of other characters.
I always liked to think of Kakuzu as one of the fodder characters whose elongated lifetime allowed him to continue to train and get stronger while his contemporaries died off lol. He's still really cool imo.

Finally someone getting it right and pointing out Pervy sage being well above Naruto and Kakashi in base. Sage Mode is his ultimate trump card that he rarely uses and puts him on an entirely different level of power that only the biggest hitters like Pain can match/surpass. Very few in the Naruto verse even within the Akatsuki can actually beat him even in base.

Dude its still based on the power of the chidori as well, rasengan is more powerful than chidori, at the very least as soon as jiraiya goes into sage mode, kakuzu gets oneshotted.
People forget Kakashi was babysitting team 10 the whole battle and fighting Hidan as well Kakashi also wasted two lighting blade shots to block kakazu's lighting.
Kakashi only had to save team 10 whenever he temporarily got taken out of battle from a huge impact. Such as when he got kicked through a tree or was running away after getting beat up

Lightning blade piercing Kakuzu’s hardening doesn’t necessarily mean a basic Rasengan could. The hardening was earth style based which is weak against lightning, so just that fact alone nullified the hardening against Kakashi
Good point. Kakuzu also states that virtually all physical attacks are useless against the Diamond hardening (Chapter 333, page 16). Lightning is it’s only known weakness - which is why he said physical attacks are *virtually/almost* useless against it. And we’re shown the Diamond armor tanking Choji’s ‘Human Boulder’ (that left a hole the size of crater in the ground) with absolutely no blowback (Chapter 333, page 9). His Diamond hardening was also durable enough to destroy an *Iron barrier* with one blow & zero repercussions (Chapter 314). I highly doubt a Rasengan or even a Senjutsu amped one would be able to dent the armor let alone destroy it.

Kakazu reminds me of the Kinkaku brothers… When you look into their lore they are painted as legendary tier characters .. but yet the on screen showings don’t represent it well.
I always liked how usually the best ninja were the ones with the most versatility. Until we got to pain and learned once a character hits a certain power level, the winner is the guy with the most hacks, or has more strength. But it's a Shonen at the end of the day. But battles like these have always been more interesting to me
I agree that jiriya wins this low dif, but I do wonder about his rasengan being able to overpower the iron skin technique. It was stated that Kakashi only beat it because of the elemental match up, so even though the rasengan is stronger in comparison that doesn't automatically mean it beats the iron skin.
The thing about Jiraiya that literally no one talks about is his sheer experience. Like, Jiraiya with prep-time.. it never gets shown but I honestly think he would obliterate some people much stronger than himself due to his arsenal and shinobi approach. If batman got jumped by even wolverine it would be curtains for him. I want a spinoff with Jiraiya where he isn't the mentor who's written to be written out of the story and die.
I Mean , he did get written out because he was too powerful in every terms ( Physically and Intellectually ) to make the Story move forward. Jiraiya prime would be a Beast. prime Jiraiya with Prep time can go up against the Likes of Hashirama and Madara ( Alive ) in My opinion. Not win but make them sweat for it atleast. Prime Jiraiya with Prep would beat Pain with Low-mid diff at Worst. He would take Preta Path out First with Genjutsu or anything obliterate the others with Jutsus. Definitely agree on most of these points. But I think kakashis lightning blade got through the diamond armor so easily because of type disadvantage lightning release>earth release. Doesn't change the outcome of the fight just wanted to point it out
Hiruzen Sarutobi (The 3rd Hokage) naturally uses all 5 chakra natures. As to Kakuzu needs to steal a heart of that nature user to have access to that chakra nature, using his modified body
I know its 2 months old. But imo the 3rd Hokage did it in part 1, before the whole pokemon chart of chakra natures came up in Shippuden. Now I dont remember the Shippuden details and war arc. But I knew that Sarutobi was more prominant in part 1 and that chakra natures only came up in Shippuden

Since it might have been in a time where things were retconned and even if we do say Itachi was still stronger because of statements that pop up in Part 1 not only could you interpret those statements differently but Itachi was using techniques that wasted his energy so being fatigued could have been an issue even if he could just fight Jiraiya with his eyes. Another thing is Kisame who was much weaker in this part they likely didn't stand a chance and they knew it so getting both of them out of there safely is better than losing such a strong high potential asset for no reason.

Itachi was smart enough to not get in a pointless fight with a strong opponent....
While I think Jiraya is smart, I don't think it's applicable to situation with Adult (more like *old*) Sasuke, since Uchiha's (in most cases) have strong defined characteristics as: Black hair with black eyes, face shape and etc. Hair and eyes is most obvious one, since it can't be missed in the anime, while face shape, eye shape and etc. Used bc Jiraya doesn't see the world in anime style, so genetic traits (All Uchiha's are relatives) work as well. So then you see literal copy of Fugaku, you can reach sertain conclusions. Also Boruto's writing is not very good, if to say lightly.

5:49 This argument is untrue. When kakashi says " I didn't even have to use my Mangekyo Sharingan this time" He's not being cocky saying he could have killed Kakazu with Kamui. In the panel right before this ( which your literally showing on screen in this video) Kakashi say's " But if you hadn't shown up when you did i would have had no choice" Kakashi is saying that the reason he didn't have to use his sharingan is because Naruto showed up in time to save him. If Naruto hadn't arrived he would have had to use Kamui to save himself. So its not a situation of Kakazu not being powerful enough to make Kakashi use his MS. Its that he was saved before the fight progressed that far.
Bro owned the fight against the team after losing one heart while being caught off guard, even tho he wanted them alive so he could steal their hearts, was tricked into Hidan's technique that negates durability and with three hearts lost, he was defeated by a technique that rivals the fourth Hokage's strenght. Saying that he was just defeated by some jounins is the worst analysis someone can do.
Furthermore, Hidan and him had just finished sealing the two tails making him decently exhausted. Plus we never got to see what his lost heart could actually do. Kakuzu and Sasori got to be the most underrated Akatsuki members.

I think people downplay Jiraiya because they dont understand just how big a boost perfect sage mode gives Naruto. They assume an imperfect sage that loses to Paim weak, when in truth the perfect sage with an incredibly powerful jutsu also loses.
Yeah but Naruto fought a heavily nerfed version of Pain, had nearly complete intel and a large number of allies supporting him. The same can’t be said for the fight in the rain village. The gap in power between both Sage modes isn’t as massive as it may seems at least based on feats. Now that could be because pervy sages base form is much stronger than Naruto’s but the only obvious difference between the two is the sensory/reaction speed amp perfect sage provides.

What I am saying is that Jiraiya getting killed by Pain isnt really something that should be counted against Jiraiya. Basically everyone loses to Pain at the time. With better conditions, even the more powerful main character loses to Pain twice before being fully restored and narrowly digging out a win by an incredibly narrow margin.
I don’t see how Kakazu Vs Pain is even a thing, everyone Kakazu fought was in the leaf village which Pain took down without too much trouble hell not even Kakazu was able to defeat kakashi that fast, Pain then even blew up Konaha and still was able to fight Sage Naruto who had a cheat sheet on him as well as Pain being fatigued after everything. Also Kakazu takes direct order from Pain, and if you wanna say Kakazu has 5 lives well there are 6 paths of Pain
I disagree that rasengan would damage the diamond armor, the reason raikiri does is because its lightning and diamond armor is earth, not because of its raw power. Kakashi himself says this when he sneak attacks kakuzu. The same logic happens when sasuke negates deidara's bombs
I think it's a mistake to assume that Jiraiya's Rasengan would break through Diamond Morph with the ease that Raikiri did because it doesn't have the elemental advantage that Raikiri does. If you want to bring Sage Mode into it, sure. Not base though.
He also has a massive rasengan and the rasengan is already a way more potent jutsu than raikiri/chidori. Elemental advantages aren’t nearly as important as you think they are. It’s not Pokémon. Just because lightning works the best doesn’t mean anything else doesn’t work I’m pretty sure the insane versatility of Jiraya is just way too much.

Likewise, Raikiri is stronger than Chidori by an entire letter rank (S instead of A). If a base Chidori can counter a base Rasengan there's no reason to believe a Raikiri can't.
@@ryan27229 Rankings of Jutsu are based on how hard they are to master and not the power output which varies between users. Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than Sasuke's Chidori until the Final Valley in which it was matched and still matched it seem if not surpassed when they were in their transformed states. Here it's sort of the same thing a Rasengan user stronger than a Chidori technically user and by the time Kakashi is stronger Jiraiya is dead. With an argument like that the Goka MeKKYU that Fire anihilation which I'm pretty damn sure is A Rank would be under Raikiri but since Madara is the user if Kakashi ever tried that most likely it wouldn't end good for him. Also if Kakazu can't move Jiraiya just uses Rasengan where he's not hardened or continues to Boost the power of his Rasengan till it breaks through.
I could see Base Jiraya having some trouble. Kakuzu can take a hard hit, his masks would help keep jirayas summons at bay. But the second jiraya goes sage mode its over.
4:07 That kick shouldn’t even have happened. Kakashi’s Sharingan should’ve been able to detect the chakra flow of Kakuzu’s 5 hearts. He pin-pointed one, there’s no logical reason why he didn’t recognize the other four and eliminate them in accordance. Detecting 5 chakra networks (as the Sharingan should) would’ve incentivized him to approach the duo efficiently. He’d poke a hole in each and every one of Kakuzu’s hearts during his surprise attack as opposed to striking just one (or use an alternative method that would also work). Either way, Kakuzu would have been done for with Kakashi following up as he did in canon, blitzing Hidan (who was stuck in Shikamaru’s Shadow possession) with Lightning blade, except a dead Kakuzu wouldn’t be alive to save him. The fight wouldn’t even exceed a chapter. This Sharingan plot hole flies under the radar.
Wasn't it a plot point that Naruto was the first person to add an element to the rasengan? That would mean Jiraiyan can't actually do the flaming rasengan. He does body Kakuzu though.
I like Six but please don’t let this man gas light y’all. When it comes to Kakuzu or Tobirama he and his crew are 100% biased likely due to their beef with Noodles. Jiraiya has no answer for Diamond Armor and wouldn’t even have the chance to enter sage mode. Not acknowledging that he fought 7v1 while fatigued, and saying Kakashi didn’t get better from part 1 is down right disingenuous as it is debated, whether or not Pain arc Kashi was stronger than SM Jiraiya all the time. He him self has acknowledged that multiple times in the past.
Jiriaya would absolutely be able to enter sage mode against Kakuzu. Avoiding attacks from Kakuzu's mobile hearts would be somewhat similar to his efforts against the summonings of the Animal path but easier. As for diamond morph, Jiriaya could always counter with dark swamp to sink him or mountain toad summoning that took Itachi's amaterasu to espape.
@@ShadowFiend777 he was only able to enter sage mode against pain because he was in the most convenient setting in the world for running away and stalling for time I don’t really think that would be fair to grant him a setting like that. But either way pain was not seriously trying to stop him from going into sage mode, but Kakuzu would and he’s way faster than people give him credit for faster than the summonings or weaker paths of pain that were boxing in Jiraiya for sure. Even if he could go into sage mode, he would still lose a vast majority of the time but you’re right the toads belly could be a possible win condition but idk the ins and outs of that jutsu (pun intended) and we don’t know it’s actual durability since Jiraiya was immediately proved wrong about its durability, and he lies all the time to make himself look cool. But the swamp is way too slow and we’ve seen people just jump out of the way. Even if it did catch them for some reason he could climb out with his tendrils, that’s assuming he’s not flying already. The only win con he’s showed outside of that would be frog song and this may be a hot take but genjutsu might just deliberately not work on Kakuzu (or Sasori) cuz his body isn’t a real so doesn’t have a traditional chakra network, or brain if any at all.
I think people tend to wank Kakazu because he really should be way more powerful than he actually was. He has an incredibly powerful and cool unique hax ability, access to every chakra element and a huge chakra pool, and according to his backstory and age he should have vastly more combat experience than almost every other character in the franchise. Dude should have been an endgame level threat.

Ma and Pa's Toad Song could place Kakuzu and the masks into the genjutsu all at the same time, unless they're not affected by it because they don't have physical ears. But since it's sound-based, its omnidirectional qualities could at least put Kakuzu away for a bit to let Jiraya deal with the masks, who are without the main body's command, with his plethora of versatile jutsus to counter the masks' natures.

You’re definitely underrating Kakazu . Hes able to send his arm underground to attack with and use seprate from his body. Kakashi didn’t really fight both Kakazu and Hidan together much. The only time they fought him together was that one move where Hidan attacked Kakashi and then the wind element showed up and blasted them both. After that one attack Hidan never fought Kakashi again and got captured by Shikamaru. Secondly he lost two hearts through little fault of his own Hidan was controlled by Shikamaru and the rest of team 10 when Kakashi attacked him from behind and took his first heart. I mean yeah Kakashi’s fast and strong but it’s one thing to surprise attacks a guy when he’s facing 4 other enemies to the front vs in an actual battle. Kakazu started the fight with just 3 heart beast not his usual 4. And then a second heart was killed by Hidan using Kakazu’s blood from that sneak attack . So at the very start of the fight with Kakashi he’s down two hearts and one chakra heart beast. He captured Kakashi ino and Choji with his tentacles if Naruto didn’t show up would’ve killed them.If Naruto fought Kakazu with 4 hearts he would’ve likely have died with Kakazu having 2 more nature attacks or seprate hearts monsters . We also saw how powerful attacks from his hearts can be with the wind attack blowing away a ton of the forrest . Also Kakazu can combine his hearts together enhancing their power so he should be able so deal with that Toa’s flame.Even the rasenshurikan didn’t kill Kakazu as we saw him talking after and Kakashi using his chidori. Base Jirya has his summons sure but we saw him have difficulty dealing with three opponents at once with Pain and none of those really had any offensive jutsu. Jirya in base can’t deal with 4 separate hearts and Kakazu at the same time. 2 hearts and Kakazu was more than enough to deal with Kakashi so 4 hearts should be enough to deal with base Jirya just by the shear numbers alone

By the time he got to Kakazu he had two hearts down and had his hearts fixed to his body meaning he had less to attack with. He lost the lightning and water mask and we see the mask can attack from different angles so he’d have mask to attack from the back with. If Kakazu has 4 mask that would be far more dangerous. Kakashi with help from Choji and Ino couldn’t deal with Kakazu with two mask as seprate beings. Naruto’s attack only worked because Kakazu had all his mask in one body.

Also to boot. Itachi and Kisame I imagine are likely considered one of the strongest if not the team in the Akatsuki. Kisame himself says he doubts he could go toe to toe with one of the legendary 3 but believes Itachi, "probably could have" Pain, and Obito didn't bat an eye at them running from Jiraiya even though it was two to one. So I don't know why Kakuzu gets all the hype he does. he does nothing of any real note to be honest. Yes, he does defeat the second weakest tailed best. But all of the Akatsuki are confirmed to be able to face a tailed beast on their own. Kisame himself went one on one with Killer Bee.

The problem here isn't people underestimating Jiraya, the problem is that people overexaggerate Kakuzu's strength. Somehow people forget that Kakashi could have defeated him If he had more vitality and chakra to work with (like he magically got in the War Arc), and you know who would qualify for that job description? I'd say it all depends on how serious Jiraya takes the fight. Gotta remember that Jiraya has MULTIPLE significant 3rd ninja war experience. I'm pretty sure that if Jiraya goes war arc fighting knowing how dangerous the Akatski is and taking no chances this could be a pretty easy stomp.

And go in for the full killing blow from the start why cause. We all know Jiraiya would rather put himself in harms way than let the akatsuki get near Naruto.
tbf kakashi definitely had some plot armor in their fight. 1) kakuzu captures kakashi, but then loses a heart. 2) kakuzu captures everybody, but then the main character shows up. with worse( and more comedic) timing, we'd cut away from shikamaru and hidan, and it'd look like 423, except kakuzu is having a heart attack in the corner 💀

Bro what, it wasn’t even in the slightest. Kakuzu lost one of his hearts, was exhausted from sealing the tailed beasts and was ambushed. And even then, Kakuzu nearly killed Kakashi multiple times.
Kakuzu slaughtered Kakashi in that fight. Kamui was, as always, Kakashi's only win condition against him. Basically Obito was indirectly carrying his ass all the time.

While I do agree with you on the winner I still think you were down playing kakazu a little. He was able to catch a swipe by bijou mode yugito and punch down those big ass gates at the temple so I think his physical strength is a little higher than what you said. You have to kill him 5 times and 1 of his hearts got destroyed by a lightning blade while he was off guard which I think most characters would have died to it as well and another was taken out by hidan when kakazu had kakashi and shikamaru and choji and ino in a pretty bad spot so neither of those I feel like he could have done anything about. And him getting one shot by a rasenshuriken doesn’t make him weak by any means it’s a damn rasenshuriken which are stupidly overpowered and again I think most characters would not be able to tank a rasenshuriken. Still enjoyed the video and agree with you on the outcome just think it would be a little tougher for jiraiya then you.

People seem to miss the fact that before he was caught off guard, jiraiya was doing extremely well against pain. He didn’t get hit a single time until after he thought the fight was already over.
Pain only attacked him directly once and Jiraya caught him offgaurd with sage mode. Pain didn’t know he could power up but it didn’t matter as Jiraya himself implied Pain was faster than him and that caused him to run away, so don’t hype him not getting hit.

People forget Kakashi was babysitting team 10 the whole battle and fighting Hidan as well Kakashi also wasted two lighting blade shots to block kakazu's lighting.
Kakashi only had to save team 10 whenever he temporarily got taken out of battle from a huge impact. Such as when he got kicked through a tree or was running away after getting beat up

Lightning blade piercing Kakuzu’s hardening doesn’t necessarily mean a basic Rasengan could. The hardening was earth style based which is weak against lightning, so just that fact alone nullified the hardening against Kakashi
Good point. Kakuzu also states that virtually all physical attacks are useless against the Diamond hardening (Chapter 333, page 16). Lightning is it’s only known weakness - which is why he said physical attacks are *virtually/almost* useless against it.
And we’re shown the Diamond armor tanking Choji’s ‘Human Boulder’ (that left a hole the size of crater in the ground) with absolutely no blowback (Chapter 333, page 9). His Diamond hardening was also durable enough to destroy an *Iron barrier* with one blow & zero repercussions (Chapter 314). I highly doubt a Rasengan or even a Senjutsu amped one would be able to dent the armor let alone destroy it.

Where in the manga was it stated that Kakuzu was “subdued” by the 1st? Last time I checked he said he fought him in the past and that’s it. *Nothing* about being subdued. That’s a forbidden jutsu he stole from the Water Fall village before defecting from it adopting a nukenin status.

It’s realistic to believe that a ball of chakra would do minimum damage if not no damage at all against these odds.

I always liked how usually the best ninja were the ones with the most versatility. Until we got to pain and learned once a character hits a certain power level, the winner is the guy with the most hacks, or has more strength. But it's a Shonen at the end of the day. But battles like these have always been more interesting to me

I agree that jiriya wins this low dif, but I do wonder about his rasengan being able to overpower the iron skin technique. It was stated that Kakashi only beat it because of the elemental match up, so even though the rasengan is stronger in comparison that doesn't automatically mean it beats the iron skin.

The thing about Jiraiya that literally no one talks about is his sheer experience. Like, Jiraiya with prep-time.. it never gets shown but I honestly think he would obliterate some people much stronger than himself due to his arsenal and shinobi approach. Since it might have been in a time where things were retconned and even if we do say Itachi was still stronger because of statements that pop up in Part 1 not only could you interpret those statements differently but Itachi was using techniques that wasted his energy so being fatigued could have been an issue even if he could just fight Jiraiya with his eyes.
Another thing is Kisame who was much weaker in this part they likely didn't stand a chance and they knew it so getting both of them out of there safely is better than losing such a strong high potential asset for no reason.

While I think Jiraya is smart, I don't think it's applicable to situation with Adult (more like *old*) Sasuke, since Uchiha's (in most cases) have strong defined characteristics as: Black hair with black eyes, face shape and etc.
Hair and eyes is most obvious one, since it can't be missed in the anime, while face shape, eye shape and etc. Used bc Jiraya doesn't see the world in anime style, so genetic traits (All Uchiha's are relatives) work as well.
So then you see literal copy of Fugaku, you can reach sertain conclusions.

This argument is untrue. When kakashi says " I didn't even have to use my Mangekyo Sharingan this time" He's not being cocky saying he could have killed Kakazu with Kamui.
In the panel right before this ( which your literally showing on screen in this video) Kakashi say's " But if you hadn't shown up when you did i would have had no choice"
Kakashi is saying that the reason he didn't have to use his sharingan is because Naruto showed up in time to save him. If Naruto hadn't arrived he would have had to use Kamui to save himself. So its not a situation of Kakazu not being powerful enough to make Kakashi use his MS. Its that he was saved before the fight progressed that far.
Kakuzu is a tough guy but Juriya is so versatile and skilled that I can't see a reasonable way Kakuzu could win a one on one fight
Bro owned the fight against the team after losing one heart while being caught off guard, even tho he wanted them alive so he could steal their hearts, was tricked into Hidan's technique that negates durability and with three hearts lost, he was defeated by a technique that rivals the fourth Hokage's strenght. Saying that he was just defeated by some jounins is the worst analysis someone can do.
Furthermore, Hidan and him had just finished sealing the two tails making him decently exhausted. Plus we never got to see what his lost heart could actually do. Kakuzu and Sasori got to be the most underrated Akatsuki members.

The gap in power between both Sage modes isn’t as massive as it may seems at least based on feats.

I don’t see how Kakazu Vs Pain is even a thing, everyone Kakazu fought was in the leaf village which Pain took down without too much trouble hell not even Kakazu was able to defeat kakashi that fast, Pain then even blew up Konaha and still was able to fight Sage Naruto who had a cheat sheet on him as well as Pain being fatigued after everything. Also Kakazu takes direct order from Pain, and if you wanna say Kakazu has 5 lives well there are 6 paths of Pain
I disagree that rasengan would damage the diamond armor, the reason raikiri does is because its lightning and diamond armor is earth, not because of its raw power. Kakashi himself says this when he sneak attacks kakuzu. The same logic happens when sasuke negates deidara's bombs

Naruto's Rasengan was stronger than Sasuke's Chidori until the Final Valley in which it was matched and still matched it seem if not surpassed when they were in their transformed states.
Here it's sort of the same thing a Rasengan user stronger than a Chidori technically user and by the time Kakashi is stronger Jiraiya is dead.
With an argument like that the Goka MeKKYU that Fire anihilation which I'm pretty damn sure is A Rank would be under Raikiri but since Madara is the user if Kakashi ever tried that most likely it wouldn't end good for him.
Also if Kakazu can't move Jiraiya just uses Rasengan where he's not hardened or continues to Boost the power of his Rasengan till it breaks through.
I could see Base Jiraya having some trouble. Kakuzu can take a hard hit, his masks would help keep jirayas summons at bay. But the second jiraya goes sage mode its over.

That kick shouldn’t even have happened. Kakashi’s Sharingan should’ve been able to detect the chakra flow of Kakuzu’s 5 hearts. He pin-pointed one, there’s no logical reason why he didn’t recognize the other four and eliminate them in accordance. Detecting 5 chakra networks (as the Sharingan should) would’ve incentivized him to approach the duo efficiently. He’d poke a hole in each and every one of Kakuzu’s hearts during his surprise attack as opposed to striking just one (or use an alternative method that would also work).
Either way, Kakuzu would have been done for with Kakashi following up as he did in canon, blitzing Hidan (who was stuck in Shikamaru’s Shadow possession) with Lightning blade, except a dead Kakuzu wouldn’t be alive to save him. The fight wouldn’t even exceed a chapter.
This Sharingan plot hole flies under the radar.

I like Six but please don’t let this man gas light y’all. When it comes to Kakuzu or Tobirama he and his crew are 100% biased likely due to their beef with Noodles.
Jiraiya has no answer for Diamond Armor and wouldn’t even have the chance to enter sage mode. Not acknowledging that he fought 7v1 while fatigued, and saying Kakashi didn’t get better from part 1 is down right disingenuous as it is debated, whether or not Pain arc Kashi was stronger than SM Jiraiya all the time. He him self has acknowledged that multiple times in the past.
Jiriaya would absolutely be able to enter sage mode against Kakuzu. Avoiding attacks from Kakuzu's mobile hearts would be somewhat similar to his efforts against the summonings of the Animal path but easier. As for diamond morph, Jiriaya could always counter with dark swamp to sink him or mountain toad summoning that took Itachi's amaterasu to espape.
@@ShadowFiend777 he was only able to enter sage mode against pain because he was in the most convenient setting in the world for running away and stalling for time I don’t really think that would be fair to grant him a setting like that. But either way pain was not seriously trying to stop him from going into sage mode, but Kakuzu would and he’s way faster than people give him credit for faster than the summonings or weaker paths of pain that were boxing in Jiraiya for sure.
Even if he could go into sage mode, he would still lose a vast majority of the time but you’re right the toads belly could be a possible win condition but idk the ins and outs of that jutsu (pun intended) and we don’t know it’s actual durability since Jiraiya was immediately proved wrong about its durability, and he lies all the time to make himself look cool. But the swamp is way too slow and we’ve seen people just jump out of the way. Even if it did catch them for some reason he could climb out with his tendrils, that’s assuming he’s not flying already.
The only win con he’s showed outside of that would be frog song and this may be a hot take but genjutsu might just deliberately not work on Kakuzu (or Sasori) cuz his body isn’t a real so doesn’t have a traditional chakra network, or brain if any at all.

I think people tend to wank Kakazu because he really should be way more powerful than he actually was. He has an incredibly powerful and cool unique hax ability, access to every chakra element and a huge chakra pool, and according to his backstory and age he should have vastly more combat experience than almost every other character in the franchise. Dude should have been an endgame level threat.

i feel like jiraiya gets shit on for being a character that probably should have been stronger than what he was, but it's clear he's still in the top 1% of jonin and even then, it's clear jiraiya is stronger than and is in a good gap above many 1% jonin.
I mean that not impressive we don't see alot of jonin during the series he definitely above people like danzo anbu and asuma

Ma and Pa's Toad Song could place Kakuzu and the masks into the genjutsu all at the same time, unless they're not affected by it because they don't have physical ears. But since it's sound-based, its omnidirectional qualities could at least put Kakuzu away for a bit to let Jiraya deal with the masks, who are without the main body's command, with his plethora of versatile jutsus to counter the masks' natures.
Imagine how many times Kakuzu went to hell and back after each heart got destroyed.

You’re definitely underrating Kakazu . Hes able to send his arm underground to attack with and use seprate from his body. Kakashi didn’t really fight both Kakazu and Hidan together much. The only time they fought him together was that one move where Hidan attacked Kakashi and then the wind element showed up and blasted them both. After that one attack Hidan never fought Kakashi again and got captured by Shikamaru.
Secondly he lost two hearts through little fault of his own Hidan was controlled by Shikamaru and the rest of team 10 when Kakashi attacked him from behind and took his first heart. I mean yeah Kakashi’s fast and strong but it’s one thing to surprise attacks a guy when he’s facing 4 other enemies to the front vs in an actual battle. Kakazu started the fight with just 3 heart beast not his usual 4.
And then a second heart was killed by Hidan using Kakazu’s blood from that sneak attack . So at the very start of the fight with Kakashi he’s down two hearts and one chakra heart beast. He captured Kakashi ino and Choji with his tentacles if Naruto didn’t show up would’ve killed them.If Naruto fought Kakazu with 4 hearts he would’ve likely have died with Kakazu having 2 more nature attacks or seprate hearts monsters . We also saw how powerful attacks from his hearts can be with the wind attack blowing away a ton of the forrest . Also Kakazu can combine his hearts together enhancing their power so he should be able so deal with that Toa’s flame.Even the rasenshurikan didn’t kill Kakazu as we saw him talking after and Kakashi using his chidori. Base Jirya has his summons sure but we saw him have difficulty dealing with three opponents at once with Pain and none of those really had any offensive jutsu. Jirya in base can’t deal with 4 separate hearts and Kakazu at the same time. 2 hearts and Kakazu was more than enough to deal with Kakashi so 4 hearts should be enough to deal with base Jirya just by the shear numbers alone

@@22thedon90 Yeah because he used rasenshuriken more than once. It wasn't mastered so it took my chakra than normal. Naruto still had the nine tails to use if he needed him.

By the time he got to Kakazu he had two hearts down and had his hearts fixed to his body meaning he had less to attack with. He lost the lightning and water mask and we see the mask can attack from different angles so he’d have mask to attack from the back with. If Kakazu has 4 mask that would be far more dangerous. Kakashi with help from Choji and Ino couldn’t deal with Kakazu with two mask as seprate beings. Naruto’s attack only worked because Kakazu had all his mask in one body.

But even then if kakashi would've used Ms it was over for kakazu because he not taking a full kamui even if he split up his masks kakashi could of broken those masks with kamui then kakazu wouldn't rlly have anything to fight with. Kakazu vs Ms kakashi would end in kakazu's death. Jiraiya in sage mode is way stronger than the kakashi that fought held his own against kakazu. Also to boot. Itachi and Kisame I imagine are likely considered one of the strongest if not the team in the Akatsuki. Kisame himself says he doubts he could go toe to toe with one of the legendary 3 but believes Itachi, "probably could have" Pain, and Obito didn't bat an eye at them running from Jiraiya even though it was two to one. So I don't know why Kakuzu gets all the hype he does. he does nothing of any real note to be honest. Yes, he does defeat the second weakest tailed best. But all of the Akatsuki are confirmed to be able to face a tailed beast on their own. Kisame himself went one on one with Killer Bee.

I'd say it all depends on how serious Jiraya takes the fight. Gotta remember that Jiraya has MULTIPLE significant 3rd ninja war experience. I'm pretty sure that if Jiraya goes war arc fighting knowing how dangerous the Akatski is and taking no chances this could be a pretty easy stomp.

2) kakuzu captures everybody, but then the main character shows up.
