- So here's another mix I made from the recordings of these two great singers (some of you requested this). Once again their voices sound great together. I made the recording using Acid Music Studio 10. I didn't change the recording speeds. I only did some creative clipping and overlapping of the sound. Enjoy!

The word perfection seems trite when trying to describe this musical duet....but it is as close as I can get! Sublime moments when beauty actually becomes a tangible reality! Jackie continues to amaze me and she is one of the few singers for whom Josh Grobins superb voice finds a worthy partner!

this is the first time I have heard this, or even seen it for that matter. It is absolutely gorgeous, I love it! Either one of them or both should put it on a duets CD. GORGEOUS!!
Both of these artists have a special quality to their voices. At the time she recorded this beautiful song on her "Dream With Me" album, Jackie had a voice like honey and warm melted butter. That's the only way I can describe it. And Josh has a controlled passion that has a heartbreaking quality to it. Very well mixed!

in the past David foster faciltiated most of her duets with other performers he produced, but Josh is not one of the ones he produced, is he? and that is probably why it has not happened yet.
@@sunnieemerson6814 Foster produced for Groban's debut album in 2001. Groban was interviewed a couple years ago by a local Pittsburgh television station. They asked his opinion of Jackie. His answer "she has a sweet voice" came across as fairly condescending. He rejected singing with her when she was a hot item at 11 and IMO it seems like he views himself too major of a star to sing with her. You'll notice the two big name stars who have duets on Jackie's 'Dream With Me' album, Barbra Streisand & Susan Boyle, have never publicly commented on those duets. Neither one has offered to duet with her again since then.

He said at one time that, when she got bigger he would sing with her. What is he waiting for, she is definitely bigger now! I used to like him a lot at one time but, I think he has gotten too big for his britches now, to paraphrase an old saying.

Had I not read the comments that this was two separate recordings masterfully pieced together, I would have sworn that these covers were real duets that they performed and I honestly thought it was since I first listened to Pure Imagination and was taken away by their beautiful voices and having read the description on this video, I am honestly stunned that you were able to seamlessly piece both of their works together and take something that was already a stunning work of art and turn it into something so beautiful and soothing. You sir truly are a gifted man, and I hope to see more of your work soon, it truly is just breathtaking and leaves me speechless.

Parts when they sing at the same time don't sound right and come across as terribly out of tune.
Well, that would be because it's NOT a "real" duet. They were singing different versions at slightly different tempos. I didn't modify their songs. I only did some clipping and volume adjusting to combine them. The purpose is to simply get an idea of what they would sound like together since they haven't to this point. It's not going to be perfect.
