She was displaced from the driving seat to the passenger seat. I thank God she survived without any injuries except swellings. After checkups, the baby is 100% okay. God is great.

Back in 2005, I met CeCe. Honestly didn’t know who she was at the time. I was in charge of putting together a new album release signing event at a Dallas area Wal-Mart. She walked in and I escorted her to the table we had set up for her. To this day, I have never met a more gracious person, well-known or not. I became a fan from that point on.
I had the privilege of seeing her live 20 years ago in Charlotte, NC...her voice is like a laser on pitch. It cuts through every instrument on stage. It's almost painfully on pitch because there's no hesitation, no starting a tiny bit flat and scooping up to it. She nails it and never wavers. UNBELIEVABLE GIFT!!!
Her voice when I heard " Goodness Of God" for the first time made me cry like a lost child!! The conviction and love and guilt yet hope I felt , amazing!
I feel like so many people have a story about that album around Covid and just the life hardships they were having at the time of its release. I can relate. It really was like a safety crutch for soo many.
