My son passed on May 26, 2022 from a car wreck 2 days before his 19th birthday. I opened his funeral with this song because even in my worst pain I know God is good, He is faithful, and He is running after me not just me but also my son that He took with Him. I am from Middle East I converted my religion. When my family learned they beat me, took my phone, laptop, bible etc. And locked me in a room for 1.5 years! I was just a 9 months old believer. When I was sitting in the room I prayed and said I don't have my Bible, my believer friends etc. how can I continue my faith? And I heard Holy spirit said I can come in this room! And he came he was with me all the time while I was in there. When I heard this song I felt someone who doesn't know my testimony made a song for me 😍 Yes he is in the room and he'll be in the room and we can't survive without him.

My grandmother passed on 1st December 2023, the night before she passed she asked the nurses to play this song for her. She was a strong, wonderful Christian woman, she raised 7 children of her own plus other children. She had a physically abusive ex husband and she had to work several jobs as a maid to take care of her children but she never gave up her faith or turned away from God. Today her children are successful in their respective fields, her grandchildren are doing well. This song was her anthem. God has always been faithful to her. I know that she is with her Jesus today.

I was there myself. Years ago I opened my bible and it opened to psalm 61 and when I read it the want for drinking vanished in a way that I could even physically feel. God showed me that it was him I was craving. The thing is, I didn't want to open my bible. I did it because it was "the right thing to do" but wasn't expecting anything. I was in a really bad place spiritually that day. I learned that he responds if we just cooperate. He said "stretch forth your hand ". I know God lead you to this song and will continue to. All you have to do is consent and sometimes despite what you feel. Stretch forth your hand. Good reads are psalm 100 and Isaiah 40. Two years ago, I was sitting in my home, 2 weeks after losing my father and less then 24-hours after my husband's death. I was reeling! This song came on. I wept as I sang the lyrics, because even in that moment I knew the lyrics to be true. I was reminded that "All my life He has been faithful" and even in the midst of depths of my grief and uncertainty He is never changing He has always and will always "lead me through the fire" and "in the darkest nights He is close like no other". Two years later this song takes me back to that moment, reminding me of God's continual faithfulness and goodness. I pray this song will always remind me of that truth.

My husband of 50 years this June died suddenly after cancer and pain from a serious injury . He was suffering with a horrible case of shingles and said he would rather go on to God (except for leaving me and our son). So I feel God answered and said “you’ve had enough pain”. CeCe has been such a comfort to me and especially this song; it’s how I feel in my soul, and I’m moved to tears and lost in worship every time I hear it. I can’t really mourn for my husband because I’m sure he is with Jesus and has no no more pain. Praise the great Lord we serve!

I am an administrator at a high school and my duty is the parent drop off lane. Parents had noticed that I listen to music via my earpiece in the morning and because I don’t hide my praise they have correctly guessed it was church music that I be listening to. It is my 30-40 minutes of daily worship as I greet parents and our students. One parent has decided that he will share particular songs with me in the mornings so we can then talk about it the next morning. This was one of them and it has made it in my rotation since then! I am so thankful for his suggestion as it is soooo easy to forget that even in the midst of all our storms our Father is still in the blessing business and His grace and mercy is everlasting. In November of 2022 (my husband had been told I would not make it through the night BUT GOD had another plan) I laid in a vegetative state in an ICU hospital bed when my daughter played this song and my subconscious responded in praise as though I were conducting an orchestra in the heavenly. Within minutes after unsuccessful attempts of taking me off the ventilator I woke up to make a recovery and was home for Thanksgiving with my entire family. God is so good to me. I am from Middle East I converted my religion. When my family learned they beat me, took my phone, laptop, bible etc. And locked me in a room for 1.5 years! I was just a 9 months old believer. My grandmother passed on 1st December 2023, the night before she passed she asked the nurses to play this song for her. She was a strong, wonderful Christian woman, she raised 7 children of her own plus other children. She had a physically abusive ex husband and she had to work several jobs as a maid to take care of her children but she never gave up her faith or turned away from God. Today her children are successful in their respective fields, her grandchildren are doing well. This song was her anthem. God has always been faithful to her. I know that she is with her Jesus today.

I'm struggling with alcohol abuse... I found this song while I was craving a drink. Thank you Jesus and your goodness. I surrender now to you
I was there myself. Years ago I opened my bible and it opened to psalm 61 and when I read it the want for drinking vanished in a way that I could even physically feel. God showed me that it was him I was craving. The thing is, I didn't want to open my bible. I did it because it was "the right thing to do" but wasn't expecting anything. I was in a really bad place spiritually that day. I learned that he responds if we just cooperate. He said "stretch forth your hand ". I know God lead you to this song and will continue to. All you have to do is consent and sometimes despite what you feel. Stretch forth your hand. Good reads are psalm 100 and Isaiah 40. Some more good songs are stain glass window by Clay Crosse, Noah's song by Phil Keaggy and the hymns Come Thou fount of every blessing, and in Christ alone my hope is found. Remember too to ask him to speak to you in those times of struggle. That's where his presence and council is strong. He sees our stretched out hand 😊

Two years ago, I was sitting in my home, 2 weeks after losing my father and less then 24-hours after my husband's death. I was reeling! This song came on. I wept as I sang the lyrics, because even in that moment I knew the lyrics to be true. I was reminded that "All my life He has been faithful" and even in the midst of depths of my grief and uncertainty He is never changing He has always and will always "lead me through the fire" and "in the darkest nights He is close like no other". Two years later this song takes me back to that moment, reminding me of God's continual faithfulness and goodness. I pray this song will always remind me of that truth.

My husband of 50 years this June died suddenly after cancer and pain from a serious injury . He was suffering with a horrible case of shingles and said he would rather go on to God (except for leaving me and our son). So I feel God answered and said “you’ve had enough pain”.
CeCe has been such a comfort to me and especially this song; it’s how I feel in my soul, and I’m moved to tears and lost in worship every time I hear it.
I can’t really mourn for my husband because I’m sure he is with Jesus and has no no more pain. Praise the great Lord we serve!

My grandpa passed away on December 25 ,2024 88yrs old plus my mom birthday god I miss him so much
I was paralyzed in bed last year and I heard Jesus say out loud to me - If you believe in me get up and walk💜🕊💜 I got up and not only walked but went for a walk outside. Praise God!!!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING!!!! ✌💜🕊🙏

My father left me when I'm in my mother's womb. I again lost my mom who guided me in every aspects of my life towards the path of God at the most most she can. I even lost my 5 family members. My longing for them arises just before Christmas and even have no will to attain the church programme. I was really weak and have no hope. But I prayed to God and wait, there I got His answer to atleast step in the compound of the Church because I gave you my beloved son for you and why can't you just give your time for the thanks giving. And there I went and received uncountable blessings and relief from my sorrows. This world isn't my home I'm just a stranger. But till today God guided and provide me everything I need and in Hin I'm soo pleased. Amen.

My nephew passed away on march 29th 2024. on good Friday. I love him like my son. This song gives me the chills when I listen to it. It helps me so much. I haven't lost hope. God knows best. 🙏
This was the last song my mom ever heard. She had two songs that she wanted to hear as she was going to Jesus- this was one of them, the last. We also played it at her funeral. It is a life anthem of praise to our creator and CeCe sings it from the core of her soul. It encourages me and reminds me that every breath is a gift.

My 1st wife and baby passed on 25th August 2019. She was 8 months pregnant. This song opened her funeral service. I was quite disturbed and didn't understand how God could be good to me then. I am not received or seen much else but as of today, I am remarried with an amazing and loving friend and I am looking forward to much more. 😊

This song reminds me of a time when I fell sick to a point that all hope for recovery was lost, even the doctors could not do anything to help me, BUT GOD 😭... HE stepped in and I'm here today alive and kicking. When I look back at my life all I see is His goodness ... and I'm SOO GRATEFULL 🙏. GOD defied the odds and showed me His mercies that endure forever

I am an administrator at a high school and my duty is the parent drop off lane. Parents had noticed that I listen to music via my earpiece in the morning and because I don’t hide my praise they have correctly guessed it was church music that I be listening to. It is my 30-40 minutes of daily worship as I greet parents and our students. One parent has decided that he will share particular songs with me in the mornings so we can then talk about it the next morning. This was one of them and it has made it in my rotation since then! I am so thankful for his suggestion as it is soooo easy to forget that even in the midst of all our storms our Father is still in the blessing business and His grace and mercy is everlasting. I have a lot of grief and tragedy in my life. My son has suffered through brain cancer and is disabled from it. My husband has had renal cancer. And with all of this and more, the goodness of God outweighs my pain. This song is ministering to my spirit today.

First time i've heard this sing today.. so

In November of 2022 (my husband had been told I would not make it through the night BUT GOD had another plan) I laid in a vegetative state in an ICU hospital bed when my daughter played this song and my subconscious responded in praise as though I were conducting an orchestra in the heavenly. Within minutes after unsuccessful attempts of taking me off the ventilator I woke up to make a recovery and was home for Thanksgiving with my entire family. God is so good to me.
