It's sad because I honestly get both perspectives. Moxxie has always been the underdog. Underestimated and put down by his boss, his father, and Millie's family. And there's usually always a scenario where his self esteem is further lowered or he gets embarrassed or beat up. Then, the one time he actually gets to try something as a leader, the mystery is super obvious and no one likes him anyway. But, on the OTHER hand, Millie from both a meta standpoint and in universe has never really gotten to stand out. Her sister is seen as better at her in certain aspects and she doesn't really get her own solo plotline or arcs like other characters. This is her shot at finally taking the spotlight onto herself. And she feels hurt that Moxxie isn't supporting her. I genuinely feel bad for both of them and am glad they were able to sort through their feelings in the end.

He saw how his kindness blew up in his face in Episode 1 of S1, how Millie's family treating him poorly made him feel worthless, how he secretly had a bit of resentment towards Blitzo for how he treated him in episode 6 of S1. That constant lack of confidence/desire to prove himself had to come from somewhere. And I disagree about your point about Millie. So much. People can be great at things. Amazing at things. Perfect at them. And that person can still have issues. Just because a person is talented does not mean they don't get to have feelings or emotions. A character seeming perfect but actually having something going on beneath the surface happens all the time. Why would you intentionally not give character development to certain characters? You can have characters who don't change majorly while still having them go through their own arc. That's called being consistent.

So he put together the "most precise" and "flawless" plan... and immediately, everything falls apart. The suspect is immediately known without any of his work, his plan to infiltrate and investigate is immediately destroyed by no one wanting to talk to him, and he can't even look for clues because everyone is so focused on Millerd. To him, this is every possible way that his first opportunity to prove himself as a leader can go wrong. Was it right to take it out on Millie? Of course not, which is why they fought about it. But it fits his personality and motivations perfectly.

I didn't miss the "look at me me me" part of the song, but that wasn't the core of WHY he wanted the attention, only THAT he wanted it. 4. YOU missed his entire reaction from the moment Blitz told him to take care of it, all the way up until he started talking to the Mean Girl Clique. Everything about what he said and his expression and his actions was "I need to prove myself worthy of being in charge since I'm never in charge; everything has to go perfectly".

Yet they already have enough money to hire hitmen. Do Sinnets get a care package on the way down, which would be funny, an orientation video, apartment, and some starting cash.
Sinners have the benefit of a higher status than most of the denizens of hell and are able to use that to get power,money,and influence. Also, iirc, the billboard did say something about payments taking a few weeks if it comes by mail, and because he doesn't have a good business sense, Blitz is probably undervaluing these jobs.
"Selflove and confidence" is important. And the social commentary in this episode was on point for that.. specially with Millie like everyone loves her for kinda no reason and by the end it was down to zero because of some shit ^^ but thats social media nowadays
I agree, easily the best episode of season 2. Truth Seekers, the MiB episode still the best. Moxxie had WAY too much fun at the start of the episode with the crossdressing and roleplaying. Didn't notice on the first watch, but that Millie's volleyboll spike at 6:43 and the crater it leaves really reminds me of that Yamcha crater scene in Dragonball. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an intentional reference.

I think it's really cool you guys said this episode was your favorite so far. Overall this episode didn't go over well with the fandom, the majority of fans couldn't handle the 2nd hand embarrassment watching "moxxine" so it's cool to see a different perspective 😃 While it wasn't my favorite I still enjoyed "Moxxine" and "Millerd" as Mary Sue jokes. Loona is about 22-23, Blitz adopted her at 17, month from being 18, and he mentions it took 5 years to get the Hell Beast Shot appt, even tho they’re supposed to get it every year. So 17/18 + 5 = 22/23! So she’s in that college age awkward after high school. Plus never fit in anyway because of her “attitude problems.”.
I dont really understand why some say Millie doesn't have a character/personality outside of Moxxie. There are multiple hints and instances/examples of her character (underappreciated, hard working, protective, etc) that I think they just aren't paying attention to

Moxxie feels a bit needy, but also stubborn; that being they clearly had an idea of what human teen culture is like...but couldn't or wouldn't accept they got it wrong and doubled down on it. Of course we can question where they got these ideas from, like from Sinners most likely.
I'm a little dissapointed in Moxxie.. Millie is almost perfect and great.. a little bit to great somtimes, so it is good they had a fight now..but she was still supportive and Moxxie acted like a little kid. But he has daddy issues and being in the spotlight and doing his way is a obvious choice.
I don't think it all Moxxie fault Millie maybe get it right but what they will do if client ask for evidence that they not just kill random guy and Moxxie have to endure hell week everyone treat him like shit and Millie ignore him all the time she don't even help him at all she can just ask people to be good to her "sister" but she do nothing she even make thing more hard for him in some occasion she even tell he not make her feel proud after all love and respect he show her and tell how he proud of her like it mean nothing
