s2j played really well here. His spacing was pretty impressive throughout, it's just the FD chain-grab is too strong. And Armada is Armada.

crazy that S2J has a better chance vs Armada than Hbox despite still being undefeated outside the gods. it really is their era above the rest, though i guess that could be ending now that others are winning big tournies too.

Martin Jones I think he meant S2j has a better chance of beating armada than he has a chance of beating hbox. It was just worded weirdly. It's true though, although that might just be because S2j is so infamously trash at the puff matchup, especially compared to the other falcons (wizzy in particular)

S2J's Falco is decent, but this game is unbalanced. Imo a decent falco beats a really good Falcon. If s2J switched who knows how these sets would go.

I don't like it when commentators talk about other sets when commentating. Can't they just let me experience the matches when I watch them?

we don't like it either
it's sometimes just SUPER hard to focus when 5 ft away from you something insane is happening
so you are left with a choice: acknowledge why you're distracted, or just sort of trail off
the best thing is to hold on and stay focused obviously. working on it!

Definitely. I can only imagine the amount of things that are going through your head when there's thousands of eyes on you, thousands of voices around you, while you have to analyze and entertain with your comments. It's tough to commentate in general, specially as well as you do it.
It just sucks to be spoiled for other matches, you know?
What I've seen other commentators do is allude to the hype crowd/ other match without saying anything specific. Like "damn this crowd is amazing, go watch this other match here"(whatever link it is)

I think their commentating would be much better if they weren't so biased towards Armada.You don't here NBA or NFL commentators talking about how good Lebron or Tom Brady are. Yeah, obviously if they make a sick play or move they will talk about what's going on in the present. but it seems like they just favor Armada and it's a little unprofessional to me.

f'real, getting tired of the Armanda is washed retoric he's still insanely better than most players... and S2J is a top ten player, it'd be more on him if he couldn't take any games. Yeah his years of consistency has set a high bar of expectations, but he's still a human and it's just plain impossible to always win, and always win dominantly. shit I'd even say Armada is on an up swing atm.

What are you on? There were many times last year were Armada dropped a game or two to non-Top 6 players. He just never dropped a set to anyone other than Plup.
