    Great video again Bill, you would be surprised how many machines I visit that have never been cleaned in the entire lifespan.

    When I use to have vending machines at a location... I used auto wax on the whole exterior of the machine. It made it shine and helped prevent scratches.

      Yeah...I would probably do that if my machines were located outside...but since they are inside I don't feel the need.

    I honestly love your videos. Videos don’t seem to be about wanting views and click baiting. Love it. Very wholesome

    Once again.......great video !!!!!! This is a topic that I tend to neglect. I will have to create a regimented cleaning schedule for my machines. Thank you Bill.

    You mentioned you drove the machines from Philadelphia through a car wash, did you power wash the inside of that machine? If so, are there any risks of corrosion when doing this?

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used the high-pressure spray hose at the car wash to clean the machine inside and out.. I made sure to keep away from the electronics on the inside of the door (control board/coin changer). No real risk of corrosion if you let the machine dry out.

      Check out the end of this video...I go over the Nayax interface a little: th-cam.com/video/RpD-IVqJr1E/w-d-xo.html
      As far as getting paid from Nayax, I have my bank account linked to my Nayax account and they deposit money automatically into my bank account weekly. They also email a weekly statement telling how much I earned and how much I paid in credit card fees.

    Hey Bill,
    What is an ideal temperature to keep a snack vending machine in. I was thinking of putting it in a laundromat but it gets up to the higher 80’s because of the dryers.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah...you can put one in a laundromat but you may not be able to put chocolate or products that melt easily.

      You might consider a refrigerated machine for snacks even if you’re really worried about heat. I tested eating chips and crackers that were refrigerated and they were perfectly fine. Just a thought

    Great video! Just bought a crane 484 combo (old machine) at my work for cheap. Would a dirty compressor cause the sodas to freeze or is that a whole other problem?

    • @HappyVending

      Probably a bad thermostat....or the thermostat is set too low.

    I'm headed out to clean my machines. What do you find works best at cleaning up syrup? I always struggle with this when it happens. Thanks Bill, great video.

      I usually get a bucket of soapy water when this happens...but some people like this cleaner from Home Depot: i.ebayimg.com/images/g/SPQAAOSw2M9fgDDG/s-l500.jpg

    I’d love to know how to clean the snack machine with all the trays ❤

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  ปีที่แล้ว

      remove the spirals and just use a clean rag and soapy water and wipe them down. You. can also use a cleaner like windex.

    My snacks seems to keep getting stuck I was told it maybe due to the trays being dirty and sticky. What cleaner should I use to clean my coils and trays?

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  ปีที่แล้ว

      Windex would work fine. Are your coils big enough for the products you're trying to vend?

    I’m sure Coke appreciates the mystery item in their machine.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  ปีที่แล้ว

      Coke no longer owns the machine so it doesn't matter.

  • @ethelcanteberry8693

    can you steam the inside of the machine?

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've power washed really dirty machines outside after covering electronics...but I've never steam cleaned a machine. I don't' think that is really necessary, plus you would need to be careful of plastic parts that are sensitive to heat.
