I love that you casually dropped, "I love giving birth". I wish I would have heard that when I was pregnant with my baby. All I heard was scary, hard, painful or woo woo nonsense. But no one just said, I love it so casually. We love you Jane!

Maybe he has all of mommy’s happiness inside. I also love how you keep it so real!!! You don’t pretend to have it all together. You do your best and stay lighthearted. I'm a midwife. The pain might seem overwhelming in the moment but I think that's one way nature sets us up to go to a private safe place to birth. The best thing you can do is have someone with you who will remind you why you want an unmedicated birth. My advice: ignore it as long as you can ( try to trick everyone into not knowing you're in labor by acting and breathing normally), then distract yourself as long as you can by making cookies, watching a funny movie, etc. When you can no longer distract yourself - surrender. Float on the waves. Be zen. It's SO worth it. You CAN do it.

      That is great advice.
I did it with no pain relief and I believe it is the way to go. As long as you use distraction, meditation and just go with it. Try not to think you in labour and it will fly by. The brain is so powerful. Good luck with the birth. ❤ You got this

    • @Mt4evr
      @Mt4evr 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

Yes I did it with no pain relief twice. Both of them were pretty short. The first one was kinda hellish with back labor, but I just focused on staying calm and relaxed in spite of the pain. I had my husband playing something on his quietly on his phone. I don't remember now if it was music or scripture, but it helped distract my mind enough to bear the pain

I’ve delivered 5 babies unmedicated. YOU CAN DO IT. Try to keep this in mind: when it’s “unbearable” it’s almost over. Having someone encourage you through those moments is so helpful. The transition period is the “unbearable” part. And often the euphoria and power moments come during pushing. And yes, pushing unmedicated and with no coaching, only pushing when your body tells you to or does it on its own, is incredible and so much better for both you and baby. And then yes, the euphoria and hormones after that baby is out is amazing!!! it’s so worth it!!

I had all three of my boys unmedicated! First one at 17 ( yes teen mom) and I can tell you it’s hard and it’s painful but it’s honestly such a beautiful moment and empowering. It’s also really good for movement to get into a different position if need be. With my second son I was all over the bed on my knees, turned around, on my side lol trying to get him out and it helped with pushing pain being able to move around like that. Not sure how it is with epidural , but I couldn’t imagine you would be able to move around like that with one.
It’s an experience for sure and it’s awesome your wanting to experience yourself. ❤❤❤

I just gave birth last month and I was totally able to change positions even with an epidural! I wasn’t able to get out of the bed though. It might depend on doctor/dosage. Going back I wish I had done unmedicated as I wished - at 7cm they asked if I wanted and I said yes lol

Yes! I've had 5, all unmedicated, and while I can remember the pain it really does not matter at all to you once that baby is out. I can't speak to what having an epidural is like, but I can say I've recovered pretty quickly and had no issues with all of my births. Never even had a tear.

The best advice I was given was to just take it one contraction at a time. Towards the end, there was always that one very long and very painful contraction, but it was that moment that I knew baby will be born in less than 10 minutes.

Jane! I just adore you so very much…I’m so excited to see your journey and I don’t watch any family channels or those chicks that make videos “Clean w/Me” or “Buy My Course…” basically anyone that would be covered by the channel TH-camr Headlines. Sending you all my positive vibes and prayers and I will watch you and your family any chance I get!!!xoxoxo

I had my 2nd unmedicated, semi unintentionally. I don’t know if I would call it euphoric, but I tell you what, the relief you feel right after the baby is out is unparalleled.

Ok, newbie here, just discovered your channel, I'm 62 and don't usually follow younger accounts but yours is so great, I was so like you 30ish years ago, you be you, you're so naturally entertaining.
    PS, that laugh!!!!

Jane you had your baby and honestly your channel has brought a lot of smiles to a lot of people - your 'mood changes' and zaniness are hilarious - I've even sat thru an unboxing just 'because' - so keep being the super mom they all know you to be !

I had three medicated births, but with my fourth I decided to go unmedicated- it was the best birth of all (and I had great experiences with my other three) and I would absolutely choose to go unmedicated again. Recovery was SO much faster and I also noticed that my fourth took to nursing much faster because he was so alert after delivery, so if you plan to breastfeed, that was an added benefit. I hope you get the birthing experience you want, you can totally do it!

Love the eyebrow hack. Mine are sparse in the front and on one side it doesn’t grow per a scare from childhood 😂
    I just adore y’all 😊❤

I had an epidural with my first 2 children and unfortunately had a bad experience with my last epidural. I have had unmediated birth for my 3rd 4th and 5th. No joke, the orgasmic birth book was the best book I’ve read to get mentally prepared. Good luck! I love your videos so much.

I gave birth to three kids naturally but my third had to get an epidural only because I was having my tubes tied. I hated the epidural so much after having two without it because healing was a breeze!!!! You got this!!! Love you family, God bless 💕

Dude it really gives me a lot of encouragement that you plan to go unmedicated. I am currently 36 + 4 days pregnant and am wanting to try that too.
Ive had a lot of people try to discourage it. But i think it will be worth trying.

Gave birth naturally to my youngest of three 12 years ago. Obviously hard, but SO worth it!! I felt so empowered!! Mental preparation was key! Good luck!
