OMG this brought me to tears. When you asked your husband, "are you proud of me?", I just lost it. You are so sweet, that baby is absolutely precious. Congrats! We're all proud of you!
@@Janeinsane_ congratulations you guys, I’m so excited for you all and your next chapter. I hope you’re settling into your new home well and I can’t wait to see more! Only when you feel up to it though, put your needs and your families needs first. I’m so happy for you guys! ❤❤❤
As a labor nurse, I absolutely love this! I love that the hospital you chose to deliver in does intermittent monitoring, that they allowed you to eat, and that they said ‘you can continue to labor at home for a bit if you’d like’ because that’s EXACTLY how I believe a healthy, uncomplicated labor should be! Jane and Chris, congrats! You did amazing! (And I mean it, too- a lot of people seem to forget that their sole purpose is as a ‘support person’ and they make me so upset as they don’t seem to be very supportive, and Chris, you were right there the whole time!)
My husband is with me when labor but I always tell him not to touch me, I usually go into a deep meditation and ask him for things once in awhile. I remember a nurse got a little annoyed that he fell sleeping on me, but I don’t like anyone touching me or talking to me. When I start pushing he knows to hold my hands. After wards I told the nurse, “my birth style is very different, my husband knows me 😊”
As a woman with absolutely no children, these are still the most beautiful videos in the world. The love that just flows through the screen is unmatched. Congrats mama! What a perfect baby girl!
My midwife told me the best analogy to keep a positive mind during natural labor. Think of it as a bag of contractions. There's a finite amount of contractions, and each time you take one out of the bag, you get closer to having your baby. It really helped me when I panicked, thinking this pain was forever.

OMG! I'm so happy for you! I'm literally 14 and I've never experienced anything like that, but I got so emotional during that. Motherhood must be such a blessing. I will pray for you and all mothers around the world. How wonderfully has God made this life that things like that get to happen!
My 8 yearold has been watching your pregnancy journey and waited to see your precious baby born. She is Autistic and cried seeing Daisy in your arms being so loved. Thank you for sharing your most precious moments.
Chris is exactly like my husband was for both of our children’s births- pretty calm/chill, not particularly overwhelmed with emotion but clearly very HAPPY. He gets more overwhelmed with emotion now as they have grown and he is so much more in tune with them. The newborn stage can be tough for dads to feel an instant bond with the baby, but it comes naturally. Congrats!!!
Girl, that’s why so many cultures (outside of the U.S.) have their babies standing up! Well, maybe not standing, but propped up on the knees. The gravity pulls the weight of the baby downward, making it easier for the baby to come naturally. When I had my sweet baby Elle (my second) 4 months ago, I was admitted at 4cm dilated and within one hour (no meds) I shot up to 8cm dilated! Ouch, it hurt SOOOOO bad. I was in tears and was shaking incredibly bad b/c of the shock it places on the body. I GLADLY accepted the epidural. During my first labor, the epidural failed and the labor took almost 18 hours. For my second, she came within 2 hours! Amazing. Such a beautiful experience ❤ She is now 4 months old, born on July 31st. Jesus Christ is SO good. He gave you the most beautiful little child, I’m so happy for you both! May your little girl bring you joy, love and continuous blessings. Hallelujah 🕊️

I am nearly 38 weeks and for some reason, this birthing vlog really resonated with me more than any other I've watched. I've also been struggling with committing to a name for my daughter. Ive been calling her Daisy for months now, but felt so insecure, for whatever reason, about committing to the nae. And seeing that you named your daughter Daisy, I almost cried. Like a sign from a higher power giving me confidence and assurance, and now I am fully committed to Daisy. ❤❤❤

Don't be afraid, it's the most natural thing in the world, your body knows what it has to do. You can do it. Best regards, a mum since October last year
The fun you two were having in the beginning resonated so much. My husband, doula, and I were like a comedy troupe and a few months after my daughter's birth I ran into my labor nurse and she told me she'd never laughed so hard in the delivery room.
Seriously every birthing video I see, makes me cry. There’s something so overwhelming emotionally seeing a baby you already love so much, come into the world. I was there for my 2 nephews births before I had kids. And I’m SO close with them. It created a different bond than I have with any of my other nieces and nephews. When I was in labor, my sister in law was my bedside helper. (My kids’ dad was worthless) and any time she would see a contraction coming on the machine, she’d be like “ok here comes another one” and I’d breathe thru them, and she could watch it go down and she’d tell me it was almost over, so I knew I didn’t have much longer. While I of course could feel them (before the epidural) it was visible on the machine before I started to feel it.
Crying 😭 Chris saying “you can do this” got me so emotional. I went unmedicated with my first too and was lucky to have a supportive partner that helped me push through too! Now pregnant with my 2nd and hoping for a similar experience :) Great job mama! Congrats to you and your beautiful family! ❤
Literally cried when you chose to forego the epidural. I’m pregnant with twins and this will be my fourth labor and delivery experience, but first unmedicated. Thank you for the inspiration and validation that I can!
I had twins and the contractions are way worse than with a single. I got the epidural because those contractions scared me so bad. I wish I had the strength to do it without but even the Dr told me to get the epidural. Dang it. Good luck!
Highly highly recommend using water bottles and ice packs. It totally makes labour a million times more bearable rather than just having to rely on mental fortitude alone. There is one study I'm aware of that shows it was effective at improving birth satisfaction. Counter pressure is also great along side it.
You are a warrior momma!!! No way in the world could I have done mine without an epidural. Got so emotional watching the end when you pushed her out. Could almost feel your relief. YOU did that!! 💪🏼💪🏼
If it weren’t for the contractions, you’d be living a life of luxury!! Snacks, music, and warm tub time! But for real, the way you and Chris tease each other to get through hard things is so cute and congratulations!!!

Oh Jane, you are amazing!!! You did a beautiful job bringing little Daisy in the world. Natural births are a trip and so life altering on many levels. Birth itself of course is, but there’s something about the intense connection to what’s happening that is unlike anything else. Your hubby did a great job too supporting and cheering you on. I love that you recorded this and shared with other moms who maybe are considering forgoing an epidural and need some relatable inspiration. So beautiful. Congratulations to you and the whole family. ❤
My daughter went home from the hospital on Father’s Day 30 years ago. It’s absolutely the best Father’s Day gift ever. Her birthday will fall be on Father’s Day next year. 💝

I just subscribed last night because I came across your videos and couldn't stop watching them and tonight I'm watching again. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful moment and a big congratulations to you! Sending love to you and your family from Australia ❤
I’ve never watched a labor vlog with so much laughter 😂 congrats, your baby girl is beautiful! P.S. Doesn’t matter what the hospital says “you’re not allowed to…” just like eating in labor, you can do what you want and refuse any test, monitoring or anything you choose. You’re the mother, it’s your baby and they can’t legally “make you” do anything.
Natural mommy here. He was 9 lbs 3 ounces and it’s so worth it but so hard emotionally and physically. You and your husband are a unit it’s absolutely beautiful. Congratulations on baby #3! 🫶🏻
Natural mom here too, x 3. #1 7lb 6oz 21 in. (9hr labor) #2 8lbs 8oz. 23in (22hr labor) #3 9lb 14 1/2oz 23in (2wks early) (13hr labor) This was 30yrs ago since my 1st son was born. I went in pretty open minded thinking I'd get pain meds or an epidural once my pain got as bad as my period cramps 😂 That was about 8 or 9cm with each pregnancy and as you know they don't usually administer anything after that point 😅 So I just didn't it natural 😘 You two just bring so much joy into the world. Your partnership is so beautiful to see 🥰🫶 *CONGRATULATIONS*

Just cried watching this 🥹 so happy for you. I have a 6 month baby and had an epidural and it was still the hardest thing I’d ever done (pushed for over 4 hours) so can’t even imagine. Crushed it! God bless your family and this sweet time with your bb ❤
I had a natural birth in February with my first, I cried watching this. I barely remember the pain (except the ring of fire, holy crap), but this video brought back many of the emotions. I hired a doula and I labored at home for 10 hours until I couldn’t handle it anymore and felt like I wanted an epidural. We got to the hospital and I was already at an 8, so no epidural for me. 2 hours later my precious son was born. ❤
The montage of finding out your pregnant and the pregnancy was so beautiful. I legit had some tears forming 🥹 I hope your year goes smoothly with a new baby! May God bless you through this time 🙏
Jane this was so beautifully put together , the flashbacks & the sentimental music. I was tearing up by the time you had her 🥹 as a momma in the same boat, pregnant with my third, hoping & praying to go unmedicated for the first time…. I appreciate you sharing your journey so much & so proud of you for sticking to it even in the hardest of moments. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I’m always so proud when a mama feels confident enough to advocate for an epidural for herself when she feels it’s needed, but it’s also amazing to see these sorts of videos where women make that decision to forgo it. Both are valid options.
Yes. An old acquaintance was in the throws of labor and she really, really wanted an epidural. Her husband shamed her out of it. Both times, because women's bodies are made to birth babies. Yet, he can't push through the discomfort of a filling at the dentist? smh I was squirming like Regan off of the Exorcist with my first. Thought I could natural with my second but for some reason took an epidural. Was the right decision because she was transverse.
So proud of you for persevering and giving birth unmedicated. Also this is a testament for having an involved partner who's advocating for you. It's been a long time since I gave birth, but I do recall the point(s) at which I couldn't think clearly, was very vulnerable.
I’m currently 39 weeks and 1 day today with my second baby and trying to go into labor on my own and have our baby unmedicated. This was beautiful you did amazing! God bless you and your family ❤️🙏🏼
@@cupcake1406 it went about as good as it could've! Thank you for asking, shes 4 months in a few days :) I was 5 days late!

I'm a follower now. Edit: We want to TRY unmedicated, but of course will do whatever I have to for a healthy delivery.

I am so proud of you, it's commendable. Congratualations and May God continue to bless you and your family❤🙏☺️🩷

I love that you recorded this and shared with other moms who maybe are considering forgoing an epidural and need some relatable inspiration. So beautiful. Congratulations to you and the whole family. ❤
You give off so much positive energy ✨️
This is the perfect example of how important it is to have a supportive team around you!!! I LOVE!!!💗
My daughter went home from the hospital on Father’s Day 30 years ago. It’s absolutely the best Father’s Day gift ever. Her birthday will fall be on Father’s Day next year. 💝
I have a father daughter too!
“What u think I it will come out my mouth” GOT ME ROLLING
That one Henry danger episode of where Ray was giving birth 😂❤ I would literally say the same thing
I appreciate you ladies giving all of your natural advice in the comments! Going for my 2nd natural labor and love reading these tips
Chris! we need more people like you
Girl, you have the nicest personality. You always seem so bright, happy, funny, silly, energetic and sweet all at once.
(9hr labor)
#2 8lbs 8oz. 23in (22hr labor)
#3 9lb 14 1/2oz 23in (2wks early) (13hr labor)
This was 30yrs ago since my 1st son was born. I went in pretty open minded thinking I'd get pain meds or an epidural once my pain got as bad as my period cramps 😂
That was about 8 or 9cm with each pregnancy and as you know they don't usually administer anything after that point 😅 So I just didn't it natural 😘
You two just bring so much joy into the world. Your partnership is so beautiful to see 🥰🫶
*CONGRATULATIONS*
Birth is a miracle!! The ring of fire is no joke. So happy for you guys! 💗

The fact that you pushed though. Being proud and accepting of what is happening. I started crying in the end. This is do beautiful. Daisy Mae is such a beautiful name ❤ congratulations 🎉
I knew that you could do it!!
Our bodies are made for this.
It’s absolutely incredible!!!
She literally is the only TH-camr that plays two people all the time that I absolutely LOVE and is amazing at it , so many TH-camrs do it but she nails it every video ❤ congratulations ❤xxxx
I’m so proud of you, Jane you got your baby. I’m super proud of you.
This is the best birth vlog I’ve watched, the flashbacks prior to Daisy’s birth was well done! Congrats!! She’s beautiful!❤
Just cried watching this 🥹 so happy for you. I have a 6 month baby and had an epidural and it was still the hardest thing I’d ever done (pushed for over 4 hours) so can’t even imagine. Crushed it! God bless your family and this sweet time with your bb ❤
I cried. What a beautiful little girl. Good job, mom; and dad.
14:36 I love how supportive and kind Chris is
OMG IM SO HAPPY FOR YOUUUU❤ SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL, AND SO LOVELY. DAISY IS SUCH AN ANGEL, CONGRATULATIONS❤❤❤👼🏻😇💗
As someone who is having her first baby this fall, this made me sob 😭❤️ SO happy for you, Jane! You did amazing!
I love how confident Chris is about delivering the baby himself in the car!🤣 I don't think I've ever laughed so much during a birth vlog!
Your amazing Jane. Birth isn't the easiest thing ever but you did it and I'm so proud❤
The laughter and happiness throughout was so admirable and sweet, all the best for your family. ♥️
God bless you and your family ❤️🙏🏼
artgirlerina1797 How did your labor and delivery go? Did you have the epidural?
@@cupcake1406 it went about as good as it could've! God provided and we had baby girl unmedicated and naturally, funny I also ended up on my side pushing (I tried a few different ones but instinctually ended up there), baby was 8lbs and super healthy, exactly what we prayed for! Thank you for asking, shes 4 months in a few days :) I was 5 days late!
OMG this brought me to tears when you asked your husband"are you proud of me ", I just lost it. You are so sweet that baby is absolutely precious Congrats! All of us of proud of you!. 😊🔥😭😭😭😭😊
You did so good and this baby will have one of the best parents on earth! I love how you still posted a lot even durring the end! Welcome to the world daisy!
Wonderful moment. Huge tear jerker adding snippets of your journey. Thank you for allowing us to share in your joy and happiness. Happy birthday, Daisy!
I love that name! You are an absolutely outstanding and amazing mother. Chloe, sawyer, and Daisy Mae are very lucky to have you as a mother.!!!!!!!!!!
Hello! I just stumbled upon your channel (I had seen the toddler talk shorts which I LOVED, but never dove deeper). I am 22 weeks pregnant with our first (and probably only). I absolutely love watching your journey. Seeing you and your partner go through this together really gives me strength and positive vibes. I am still nervous, but I think I can do this. I'm a follower now. Edit: We want to TRY unmedicated, but of course will do whatever I have to for a healthy delivery.
I cried. It’s always emotional when a new little one comes. Reminded me a lot of my birthing experience. Congratulations! 🎊
Same. Im a hot mess now lol
"The baby might come out of my mouth" 10:00 LOL didn't expect anything less from Jane!!! Congratulations!!
You personality is so radiant that everything happen exactly how it supposed to. You are amazing! You handled pregnancy effortlessly, you were determined to make it through naturally and you did. I am so proud of you, it's commendable. Congratualations and May God continue to bless you and your family❤🙏☺️🩷
