      Im not even broke but like, in first world countries, do you have to be broke to not buy a new closet everytime the trend changes? so sad.

    Title idea! Eco Tiktoks because we only have one Earth! I really love these and because of these videos I’ve dived deeper into zero waste living 💖
    It also goes hand in hand with the cottagecore videos! Since Cottagecore people usually want to save the environment and are low waste or zero waste 💖

    Are we gonna talk about all of these new toys? Like mini brands, lol dolls, etc. there in balls and blowing up on tiktok. But you know what? THERE IS LIKE 10 LAYERS OF PLASTIC EACH BECAUSE EACH LAYER HAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT! Plus little blind bags but inside which just adds to the amount of plastic... and you know where almost all of that goes? The ocean.

    Hey guys! So I'm 13 years old and live in a 5 person family (including me). My oldest brother is in collage and my other brother is leaving next year. I really want out family to be more eco friendly, but dont know where to start! Both of my brothers eat meat, but next year, when my brother leaves, my parents and I are going to go vegaterian (and maybe vegan??). Any tips?

      I am 15 and I have been vegan for almost 2 years and I definitely recommend finding recipes that you enjoy. Being vegan and vegetarian helps not only animals but the planet as well, so it is great that you are wanting to do this with your family!

      Use ecosia as your browser. They plant a tree for every 45 searches and is run from solar power. Donate old clothes/appliances that you don't want anymore instead of throwing them out. Purchase clothes/appliances second hand instead of brand new. Find more sustainable options for everyday stuff like shampoo bars, beeswax wrap, mineral deodorant, dryer balls, ect. But the mose important thing is use everything until it dies like don't buy a fancy bamboo hairbrush and throw out your plastic one, just use the plastic one untill you physically can't anymore and then get a bamboo one.

      Late to the party on this one, but pop paper, cardboard, vegetables/fruit/peels, garden cuttings into a compost bin (bought or made) and turn it every now and then. It'll heat up and bacteria will decompose it.

    As far the wasteful stuff at target
    Um if you don’t use the liners then you waste water to
    wash. So sometimes there’s a trade off.
    No offense, that one just kinda irked me

    • @snailmollusk8058
      @snailmollusk8058 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      When you look at industrial production it wastes much more water to produce a disposable item than to just wash your dishes. Because that item has to be made, packaged, shipped, and then thrown away, so really when you compare the two you can see that washing your dishes is much less wasteful. Also washing dishes doesn't have to use a lot of water you can mostly just use a cloth to clean everything off. It's all about habit. There are many ways to wash dishes without using excess amounts of water.
