Sting's "Seek And Destroy" was the best WCW entrance music ever. The Road Warriors had Sabbath's "Iron Man", The Fabulous Freebirds had Skynyrd's "Freebird" before "Badstreet", Manny Fernandez & Rick Rude had Queen's "We Will Rock You", Midnight Express had Giorgio Moroder's "The Chase". NWA/WCW caught on early to getting licensed music for nationwide broadcast. But Flair started it in my book with Strauss' "Also Sprach Zarathustra" (The 2001 Theme).
Seeing Sting's face almost makes me wanna cry tears of joy. I fell outta wrestling about a year into the Wolfpack and haven't really followed since but Sting is an idol in a way to me. I honestly look at Sting as a wrestling god but I know he's religious and probably doesn't like that saying so I don't say that often. Sting really seems like a beautiful person. He seems humble and intact. Connected. I will always love him. I've never been close with my dad, he moved out when I was young but I still saw him every couple of weeks. Seeing Sting without makeup honestly reminds me of seeing my dad as a young kid....they don't look alike, that's not what I'm saying...but it has that familiarity. Sense of caring. It's nice to get Sting back on #AEWonTNT and we love to see him with #AEW #AEWDynamite can't wait to see what he has planned for #AEW. would like to see him in a mentor role to the younger Talent also.
Sting is one of my all-time favorites and a legend in the professional wrestling world. I enjoyed this interview. Thank you AEW!
I miss his seek and destroy (instrumental) theme everytime Metallica's Seek and Destroy plays I can hear ""ITS STING!!""
All I can say is I'm so glad Stinger is in AEW... I've enjoyed his work since I was a kid in the 90's. Thank you Sting, thank you AEW.
IT’S STING!!! Man I could listen to Sting talk about the good old days of wrestling all day long! Love this guy!
Lmao sorry I just wanted to share that with you I guess
Perfect scenario for me: Darby Allin gets someone ready for a scorpion death drop. Looks over to sting, who gives him the nod to do it.
aew got me back on wrestling. loved this interview with sting..his starcade 97 entrance is one of the best ever
I have watched this a million times. I was/is still a Sting fan.
