Lisa!! You are soo sweet! Thank you so much. I LOVE your studio! Great organization! Love the rolling table that’s a great idea! Thanks again! What an awesome idea for the black lines!! I never would have figured that out! I soo love the trays with the little bowls and the peach mugs are just gorgeous! I love the black matte glaze with the color on top. That’s become one of my favorite looks lately. What a great idea for the mugs that you’re putting the crows on. I love the little plaque idea! The purple looks so regal with the black. I bought several of the pottery supply house glazes and I absolutely love them! How amazing that you have a charity in your mom’s name! That’s a lot of work for sure. Congratulations on 25 years. So glad you had a good trip. ❤
Lisa, we really enjoyed meeting up with you while on our trip from England. Such a lovely pottery sharing chat. I love your glaze combos here and your studio.

Hey Lisa, thanks for the shoutout I'm definitely enjoying the purple haze 💜 its so pretty ! Those crow mugs will be awesome! I love how the floating turquoise next to the papaya/fuzzy each gets that almost purple overlap, will definitely have to try that combo 👌 Such a nice tribute to your mom ✨️💖 thats so sweet
Lisa, congratulations on your awesome new studio....wishing you many many 1,000's of years (or at least hours!) creating wonderful pieces God Bless...;-)

Hi Lisa! Love your studio! And if that is messy you should see my studio😂 Thank you for sharing the lovely combos and curios to see how the crow mugs turn out❤
Lisa, what a beautiful roomy space you now have to work your magic in. Looking forward to see your next unload. Happy Thanksgiving from a former Prince Edward Islander!
I was born in Summerside and lived on PEI until I joined the military in 1990 when I was posted to Edmonton. We moved back east to Timberlea NS in 2000 and are still here today. You are probably familiar with my first cousin's husband Basil Stewart.I
Very small world. I believe you mentioned that you sell some of your creations at Kool Breeze Farms. Doug and Ian Simmonds are first cousin's to my first (and later ex husband) so I've known them from the late 70's.
Hi Lisa beautiful kiln opening. I’m planning to visit Greece next year and I will love to get some info about, special if you know a good B&B. Do you care to share the Black glaze recipe? Thanks for the Canadian Potter fellow West Coast ( Vancouver)😜🤗
Hi Marcia, I’ve put the glaze recipe in the description of my latest video. Where are you planning to go in Greece. I admit we always go to the islands. My knowledge of the mainland is limited. I do have a great recommendation if you need an overnight stay near Athens if you are catching a flight or just coming in from a flight. Let me know if I can be of any help 😊
Welcome home! Thank you for the studio tour...wish I was as organized as you. Had a question about about the Jungle Gems, poppy fields...do you fire them to cone 5-6 without problems? I was under the impression that those glazes were low fire only. Love the way you layer it with/over other glazes. Any other tips when using Jungle Gems? l Love your glaze combos. You are such an inspiration...enjoy your energy.
Thank you so much. I’ve only tried a few so far. Also I fire to 2190 on a slow cool so I don’t get to cone 6, although I get lots of heat work. I’ve also tried meadow jungle gems over frosted lemon. It’s very pretty but crazes which I don’t mind on the outside of a piece. As always it’s effected by clay kiln and the glazes you pair it with. Great fun to play with. Cookie’s recommended 😊
@@finklepottery704Thank you for your response. Another question: @22:43 the purple haze glaze is beautiful. How many coats are use applying? Mine are light and transparent....I want more of a punch of purple.... Love that combination. Thanks again.

@@ECBurt I use purple haze as a dipping glaze. I hold it in the glaze for about 4 seconds
May I ask where you bought your overglaze decals?
It is a company called xpressions decals. You can find them on Etsy or buy direct from them
