Capturing a honeybee swarm

I capture this honey bee swarm pretty easily. They usually swarm in hard to get places up high in trees. I got lucky when this swarm landed on a small bush low to the ground. This swarm split from a wild hive I captured last year about the same time. Please watch more bee videos on my watch list.

I got one that was 20 feet up in a tree this afternoon and swapped out a swarm trap full of bees with an empty box. I love catching swarms. Nice job!!!!

I have 4 swarm traps up but this one didn’t go in it for some reason. I’ve caught them in them before and it makes life easy lol.

Lol if you recorded this yesterday afternoon just watched one of my Russian honeybee hives that morning split and swarm so they could be mine 😆I didn't have a spare hive on hand to do anything about it tho was something else to watch, edit read your description how did you track them if it was your hive mine landed on a tree about a hundred ft away usually it happens when I'm working and not present

Can’t really prove they came out of that hive really. Lol. I looked in it last week and saw queen swarm cells in it. Should have removed the cells and split it then but I was busy.
