- The VW Grand California is not a bad campervan, but there are a lot of things that after "living" in it for a couple of weeks would really annoy me if this was my own van. That being said, it is a fantastic van for 1 week or a long weekend, and would highly recommend renting one before you decide to buy one!!

Cool concept. What are internet speeds and prices like when you're on the road?
Going for Starlink plus 4G bonded together so around 150mb down and 30/40 up on average - ish haha
Hilarious commentary, how’s your
head…POW!
😂😂 it actually hurt haha
The van is perfectly fine for the Winter, I should know living in Northern Scotland… the caveat is to have the diesel heater and not the gas option!
I’m going to see if we can try a diesel heated one! Gas wasn’t great from our experience ☺️😂
@@overland-gaming But yours was a Diesel heater! The gas is only for cooking.
This is 600 short one 680 better can you buy only the interior of it and put on sprinter
A big Differenzen to many motorhomes ist, that the grand California come direct Front VW. Thats a big plus in Service, you can go to almost any VW Dealer across Europe for Service, and there are thousands more AS RV Dealers. In Germany, in the year 2023, there are over 1200 grand California 600 for sale. I Just checked some for around € 60.000. Prices came down a lot this Fall.
I Had a awd cal. 600 for a week, it did well for me.
Saefty in the full Factory Crash tested California is one of the best in the Industrie.
I Drive a new Sprinter, drove 9000 Miles since new and I'm on Recall ,# 8 so fare. It is a driving trouble spot 🙄🫣🙄
Easy parking..hopefully I got one one day
I’d absolutely love one but I’ll be pushing up the daises before I can ever afford one
Maybe one day! There are also some awesome alternatives that don't cost as much... If all else fails, grab one for a long weekend, great memories!
Looks abit plastic, and not that homey
Can You handle it?
When the bathroom lock breaks 😂
😂😂 Gotta get that Allen key out haha
That it is an horrible caravan for 90k no space, uncomfortable, etc
Compare it with the knaus boxdrive 680ME witch is the same base and the difference it is huge!
I’d love to try the Knaus one time, they looks great!
Too much kit crammed into a vehicle thats too small, at £90k it will be a flop, not big enough to live in and too expensive for an "odd weekend"er.
Thanks for the feedback Roy!
Your interactions with everything makes me laugh so hard hahah. Love it though man good quality content as always
VAN TRIP SOON BABYYY thanks for watching bro 💪🏻😭❤️

Would love to hear your thoughts on the VW Grand California!
Given the cost of VWs transporter “California” range, the Crafter based one’s always seemed to offer better value. That said, they seem to look a bit ungainly compared to the smaller T series vans.
Mmm too much plastic and crazy price.I'd convert a,Crafter or Man myself.Great blog though
We’re doing a crafter conversion! Nice van
"she's just saying that" 😂
😂
I’m surprised they will every let you review one again, just full of criticism 😅
There was some positivity!!! 😁😁
That's a horrible van:, the layout is awful, I wouldn't buy it even if it was cheap. I'm suprised at VW.
This van is horrible no much space inside to move around
Yeah, it’s quite cramped
Title is totally inappropriate. Drama out of nothing. Very unfair
Title completely fair, for £90k ? you'd have to be mad.
totally unfair, this is one persons opinion simply dramatised up into something it's not. Don't buy one if you think it's too much money, buy something else that has all the same issues with a different badge on it, you can replace the VW here with any van our there, problem here is the person has little experience at all, ask a seasoned camper person and they'll agree, he's simply out of his depth with minimal knowledge of the product or the pass-time / hobby / way of life. @@roygardiner4002
I’d love one for a long weekend but again it’s affording one 🥹🥹
