    Nice Job. Keep us updated with part 2. Try to get more time lapse into your videos. Makes good entertainment watching. Maybe in the next video. Try to stack all your stuff as close to the burn site. Heat from fire helps to dry out the green stuff quicker.

    U will have a beautiful place for your clients new house,do u have an old bit of 3inc metal pipe u can add to your leaf blower,that way your leaf blower will be further away and the steal can be closer to the fire, people say there is no smoke without fire and a good fire doesn’t smoke much, take care

    Real men don’t need hay to make a fire. I’m glad I showed you how to do this you are getting better. Thankful you bought your own leaf blower and stoped tearing up mine. And complaining about the old one I gave you.

The hay bails helped a lot with every thing else. Great job and looking forward to it being all burnt so you can go forward my friend. God bless you and your family.

  • @PurpleNovember
    @PurpleNovember ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That got going fast!!!!
    Every time I’ve tried the hay bales it ended up being more of a fight to the straw burning. It was always in the rain and green wet wood. We usually use diesel waste oil mix and blowers .
    The last couple of burns I did were in a pit with trenches going to the pit. The trenches narrowed just before the pit, like a Venturi. I only did it twice but it did seem to help. Both of those burns were smaller ones but the hottest I’ve ever done.

    • @smithworx1091
      @smithworx1091  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a little diesel sometimes on the hay bale. I prefer used motor oil but I can't keep any burning so much lol. Try busting the hay bale up a little next time. I've noticed that will help get it going better. And I prefer burning in a pit and cutting the trenches like you said. Burns way hotter!

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@smithworx1091 Thanks! I noticed you broke it up a little. We were thinking it would be better to leave it bailed and soak up the fuel like a sponge.
      I wasn’t sure if the trenches did anything or not but I guess they do.

    • @smithworx1091
      @smithworx1091  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Tim L. I feel like the trenches help a lot. Could be my imagination though lol

    • @PurpleNovember
      @PurpleNovember ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@smithworx1091 Thinking about it, it’s like putting holes in the bottom of a burn barrel.
      Without the trenches fresh air has to be drawn down into the pit from above the pit. Trenches allow air to be drawn in directly at the base of the fire where the reaction is taking place. That would also be cooler denser air with a higher oxygen level.
      Never really thought about it before but it makes total sense.
