      I made my first batch of fufu using three of your recipes. It turned out like it should. I’m so pleased. Thank you for the videos. From Jamaican American follower in NYC

    Looks so nice, one of my favourite dishes. Please make other healthy fufu like cabbage? This was really interesting

    Looks delicious and filling! Seems like you can use it as a side dish or the main meal.

      I know the feelings! It is my first time trying this method. I have always used the powdered and the traditional way of boiling before pounding method. Thanks for watching

    If i don't have a food processor thingy would just mashing it by hand be ok?and how many bananas should i use if i have like 4 ppl who EAT eat lol

      I think 10 to 12 large plantain should do the trick. You can use just a regular blender to blend. If you want to just mash, then I suggest boiling the plantain and mash whilst still very hot. otherwise, it will dry quickly and will have rough texture. Another alternative is to buy the powdered fufu to avoid blending

    Can I use banana?

    • @maryedtastyrecipes
      @maryedtastyrecipes  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use green bananas, but the texture and the taste will not be the same since plantain contains more starch than banana
