Larry, love ya darlin 👍. I am 70ish years old and just bought my 1st kayak. An OLD TOWN SPORTSMAN 106 FISHING KAYAK (Non Motorized version). LOVE IT! It's so good to see you growing your channel and watching you grow into a fine young Angler. Reach for 8t Larry, you can grab it all 👉🍻
Hello Larry, First visit to your channel. I have the Sportsman 120PDL. Difference between yours and mine is that I have a front hatch instead of the webbing. From that front hatch, I can access the inside of the yak all of the way back to the hatch under the seat. I use the front hatch for storing my dry bag and also my anchor.
I just purchased on of these guys, upgraded from my old kayak that was a pain to fish with. Im in Florida and use it for inshore and offshore. The stability of these things are insane. I was standing and fishing in a 2ft swell with no stability issues. It's also SUPER comfy. I use that storage under the chair for small PFD, first aid kit, and lunch. In order to access it, its best if you get off and flip the chair. The kayak is stable enough to lightly walk and turn around or stand to adjust the chair to access the dry bin. But actively kayaking or pedaling, it's sort of useless. If I can make a really good recommendation, Navarre Kayaking has some great mods that improve the rudder.
Hey Larry, that hatch under your seat is more for axcess to install the rudder controls, not so much for storage. Love the channel and what youre doing man!
Hey Larry! I started a youtube channel because of you and I'll be doing a lot of kayak videos. You are my favorite youtuber cause your always straight up and honest. Keep up the good work! You should start doing youtube lives like once a week and do give aways and talk to fans.
Hey man, that net might work a little better for you if you move that handle up so that brace fits against your arm and not your wrist. Just a suggestion if you didn’t know about that. Nice video 👊🏻
I've been told by many people that yak fish that using the scupper hole plugs make the yak less stable. Was told to NOT use them. To each ur own on that tho. Big thing I learned is if ur worried about staying dry a yak may not be for you. 🎣🇺🇸🎣

Thats a slick kayak. I love Old Towne. My 16ft Old Towne canoe is 25 years old and still in great shape.
I love my Salty in Ember for competitive Midwest bass fishing. Great video, not too many setup videos for this kayak!

Great review. Really enjoyed it and it answered some questions I had on the Salty 120 PDL. Thanks for sharing.
Just picked up my 1st kayak a 2021 Old Town Topwater PDL 120. Love it!

Hey Larry QuickTip put it in how you have it just put your tailgate up so it won't be like flat it'll be up in the air more
I have no interest in kayaks. 😭 But I love fishing. 🤠 So I'm gonna support with the watch, like and share.

What up Larry Melton
Be careful with that strap. It can ruin your investment. Great kayak. I have the same one. Nice video
is it stable enough to stand up on while fishing?
100% I can stand in 2ft swell/waves in Florida. Havent tried any waves higher than that yet. I usually stand and sight catch on it.
Nice vid bruh, if that makes sense.
