Martin, great video. One suggestion for your consideration. For lights as powerful as this, the spill washes out the camera making the distance look dimmer than it actually is. Next time you might want to find a high ground, maybe standing on top of a high retaining wall or balcony where the footage is less affected by the spill.

I just don't understand. How could imalent almost double the brightness by adding only 6 additional LEDs? In ms 12 from one led they removed 4.416 lumens, and in ms 18 from one led removed 5.555 lumens. And that's xhp70, not even xhp70.2. How did they do that? Has anyone measured their true brightness?

@@MartinRathmanner_M4D_M4X I have no issue with you having it, nor with someone having the 707hp Charger. I was speaking of my own opinion for me, so I can't be wrong. To me, it is not practical, and certainly not worth spending over 600 bucks for it. Not that I never buy impractical things. I have over 100 vape mods, over 100 pocket knives, and at least 50 flashlights. I certainly can't claim to need that many of any of those either. For me though, 600 dollars plus for 1 of any of those would deter me from being a buyer. Even though I could easily afford both the 600+ flashlight and the 70,000 dollar car also, if I chose to. I could pay cash for either, but when we are talking about that much money, just because I can, does not mean I should. In my mind, making such a flashlight would be something I would have thought, just because I could make a 100,000 lumen flashlight, does not mean I should. I also have no desire to risk life and limb climbing Mt. Everest just because it is there. I am glad it makes you grin.

      @@sarge1231 sorry!
I did not want to offend you!
I think we agree it's not a EDC, nor practical for 99%of all use cases...
      BUT it's a fun "toy"
A nice piece of engeneering to see what's possible - and it's not as expensive as you wrote ;)

@@MartinRathmanner_M4D_M4X You didn't offend me, I just wanted to make clear that my opinion was on how useful that light would be to me. It would be fun for a while for sure, no doubt about that. I just know me good enough to know that after I finished showing it to all my friends and family, it would sit unused and buyers remorse would set in. Since I am disabled, and stay home 99% of the time, I would not ever need such a light, and any of my decent flashlights work fine to go to the mailbox, and would certainly be more convenient. The only people I can think of that might actually need a light that strong is rescue worker or police using it to blind a criminal temporarily. It has a lot in common with some of my extremely powerful handguns. They are nice, and have extreme stopping power, but will never work to defend myself in public, because I would never be carrying those un-concealable weapons. If I ever need to defend myself, the best weapon is one I will carry. My Taurus Judge, or Ruger 44 magnum just never leave home since I stopped going to the gun range. There is for sure a desire in me to own the most powerful, highest regarded of anything I buy. I think it is just human nature, especially for men, but I am getting better at resisting those impulses as I look over my collection of never used expensive toys. I have pocket knives I paid so much for, that I can't make myself use them for fear of scratching them. For real use, I will not grab a Sabenza 21, 500 dollar knife. I will use the 20 dollar Sanrenmu 910 to do real work. In the case of expensive knives, it is more common for the very expensive knives to almost never be used. The high cost alone makes it not very useful. Expensive toys are almost always very lightly used for different reasons. In the case of my knives, their value alone prevents me from using them. That impulse almost caused me to buy a S&W model 500 magnum, because it was the most powerful handgun. That did not last long either, as some nut made a handgun using .600 nitro express rounds. In case you don't know that round was invented to take down elephants in the rifle that used them. There are many hilarious videos now of people trying to man up and fire that revolver. I have heard nobody argue that it is practical though, and I for one would never try to fire one of those 50 dollar bullets. Mind you that is not for a box of bullets...it is for 1 bullet. It is hard to even claim that is practical.

By the way, it is just a matter of time till someone decides the world needs a .700 nitro express hand gun that the bullets are 125 dollars each...1 bullet...but maybe the fact that I have seen nobody handle the .600 nitro express handgun very well will detract them from doing that.
