Moraya Wilson is the 2023 Miss Universe Australia.
In a national contest held on Friday, September 1 at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins,
Moraya Wilson triumphed over 23 other finalists to be named Miss Universe Australia 2023.
The Melbourne-based model and sports coach, who is 21 years old, will now get ready to represent Australia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November as she works toward her business marketing degree at RMIT University.
Moraya Wilson participated in cross-country, snow, and athletic competitions. Wilson competed in 400- and 800-meter track events in Australia and trained there.
She once competed in international ski races. Wilson competed in cross-country and track as a child. She graduated from RMIT University and Caulfield Grammar School, both of which are located in Melbourne.
Wilson stands at 5'9". Caulfield Grammar School was where she attended from January 2014 to October 2019.

Moraya began working as a model for Vivien's Model Management in Melbourne in November 2018.
She began working as a sports coach at Caulfield Grammar School in May 2020, overseeing three sports: cross-country, snowsports, and athletics.
She began attending RMIT University in August 2020.
She served as a Tennis Australia hospitality ambassador in Melbourne from December 2020 to February 2021.
She went to Switzerland's Swiss Alps in January 2021. She was in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia in May 2021.
She worked as a customer experience representative for Tennis Australia in Melbourne from December 2021 to February 2022.
She served as a stylist and social media expert for Lucente Collective in Melbourne from December 2021 to May 2023.
Moraya was in Cottesloe, Western Australia, Australia, in April 2022. She started working as a retail sales stylist for Manning Cartell in Armadelle, Victoria, in January 2023.
She was chosen as one of the seven Victoria-based finalists for Miss Universe Australia 2023 on March 1st.
She traveled to Ng Hành Sn, à Nng, Vietnam's Furama Resort Danang on August 2, 2023, along with the other finalists.
Moraya competed against 23 other Miss Universe Australia 2023 finalists on September 1, 2023, at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins in Melbourne, and triumphed.
On September 1, 2023, she was named Miss Universe Australia 2023. She was 21 years old at the time. She will represent Australia at Miss Universe 2023 in San Salvador, El Salvador, on November 18, 2023.
She will receive her bachelor's in business marketing from RMIT University in October 2023. Before 2024, she intends to open Bee and Bare Clothing, her own clothing line.
The new Stelios Jewellers crown, which was modeled after Banksia tree leaves, was given to the newly crowned Miss Universe Australia.
