It's a valid argument for sure, though I'd still go with his 1st stint in Cleveland. Reason being...what he did from 18 ,& early 20's in terms of leadership, I Q , & taking THAT 2006/7 roster to the NBA finals was simply AMAZING. Again...your " Lakers" take holds weight, especially considering his age. It's hard to choose simply because his whole career he's played at such a high level.

Though I don't love Lebron's " decision", or the way he went about announcing it, as a fan I have a much different perspective on it as time has passed. Bron was NOT blessed with a highly regarded front office in terms of pairing him with major pieces. Even with that reality, he made Cleveland a marquee franchise,& a perennial Finals contender. He elevated his teammates, made them better,& gave 100% night in/ night out. Btw...for you " KOBE'S BETTER THAN BRON FANS", I'd vehemently argue that a 22 y.o. Kobe does NOT lead that same Cavs roster to the NBA Finals in 2007. Anyways...back to the " decision"; Bron obviously felt that the Cavs GM wasn't going to add the necessary pieces to get the team over the top. I'd also argue that had he stayed in Cleveland,& gotten better free agents ( pre Kyree & Love) that he'd still be scrutinized for that too so he was in a no win situation either way.

Live on television, Lebron stabbed his own hometown fans in the back. That’s what made it seem so wrong. A lot of fans thought that he was going to stay with his hometown team forever. They didn’t expect nor did they deserve to be treated that way. He didn’t have to be so dramatic about it. The fact that he made that decision live on tv when many Cavs fans thought he’d be using that platform to announce his return to Cleveland is EXACTLY what made it so wrong and shocking to the people that paid to support him and watch him play every night. Whether or not he was right to leave Cleveland isn’t the problem. The problem was HOW he chose to do it

I’m not saying that Lebron’s a bad guy though. I just think that “the decision” was a mistake. He seems like a good dude. The decision is the only problem that I have with Lebron (other than the fact that he seems to think that he’s better than Jordan)

He didn't make them better 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️in fact, stats are very simple, if you look at the stats, you will see that he never made his teammates better. He just joined a teams to play with teammates who were ALREADY great basketball players. From 2012 to 2014 Wade was worse than he was before. Same about Chris Bosh, before Miami, he was averaging 27 points per game at his best, in Miami he averaged 18-19. He never made Kyrie better, he was great player EVEN SINCE HIS ROOKIE SEASON. Kevin Love averaged in 2013 and 2014 27 points per game and when Lebron came in Cleavlend, he was completely different player. Look at AD right now when he is in his absolute prime and look at him at 22, 23, 24 years of age... He was better player for Pelicans than he ia right now for Lakers in his best years. So I really don't know what are you talking about. Lebron is great player, but stop it, he never made anyone around him better.

Name a way lebron has not cheated the game would be easier than explaining all the way he has. Lebron would be 2/10 in finals if 2016 and 2020 the other teams weren’t injured to two starters. It’s really weird to say lebron is more than great. Lerbon isn’t the best at anything so how can he be anywhere close to a goat he aint

Mate it’s simply because lebron has more individual accolades and higher production across the board in both the regular season and playoffs. I’m with you in liking kobe more (he’ll always be my favorite player player ever and basketball idol) I prefer Kobe’s game as well, but I can’t really make an object case outside of feelings that would put Kobe above lebron. So that’s why most people in the media have lebron ahead of Kobe
