@@SuperZbros his ability to use vocabulary at a higher level than mostly everyone in sports media to how he breaks down his arguments how quickly he can make attacks and can think fast enough to have a counter argument ready in his chamber whether we agree with him or not he’s definitely a character and one ESPN needs. If you disagree that’s fine I think his resume proves it and him being given the highest commanding position on First take second to the actual executives who run the network to where they’ve given him the freedom to control what’s discussed and who to recruit as you see he reminds Shannon that he’s the one who recruited him otherwise Shannon wouldn’t have come over which Shannon showed appreciation for just shows Stephen A’s seniority level at his career being a respected one to where the ESPN networks executives trust his choices and decisions. Has he made several takes that I whole heartedly disagreed with? Sure I do. But you have to understand it’s part of the game. The two or however many more people that are there to argue I’ve noticed even with skip and undisputed there’s a formula you need one person to kinda play devils advocate to keep the arguments going and the trick is do so with facts and entertaining charismatic energy despite sounding a bit foolish at times it just works and Stephen A gets it which is why he’s so successful. I do love that he hates the cowboys.

Shannon Sharpe is an absolute legend. Skip knew Shannon would keep the show alive and also give it a fresh energy. It went on long enough it was time for Shannon to move on to something else. Skips show is going to work well and Shannon is going to shine wherever he is. Shannon’s humbleness and his love and adoration for his family and friends make him so likeable.

I have been trying to watch it this week but it is just a bunch of noise. I am an avid Cowboys fan and even I have had enough of it being discussed every other segment.
Skip failure to recognize when he crossed the line really soured their relationship. Of course Shannon appreciates Skip giving him a platform that nobody did but that ends at that.
