Hello fellow pianist…yes to E flat Major for the anthem and at retirement homes I take it down to D flat Major. Thank you for the lovely video…I have discovered that your videos were not coming to my feed even though I am still subscribed. I have a number of months to catch up on. I am part of the running of Canada Swaps…we would love to include you if you are interested. 🦉🧵🇨🇦
Love the Miribilia and I enjoyed learning new things about Canadian history. Fun idea to have a patriotic wall, and you already have a great start! I vote for a biscornu with your small.
Hi Judy, I am new here - I am glad to see your colours because I am redoing the flooring and painting in my house - smaller than 1,000 sq. ft. I am going to paint every room a different colour. Yes I am Canadian so colour has a U. I am in Winnipeg and a member of the Winnipeg Embroiderers' Guild with Samantha - Hygge Stitcher on flosstube.
Loved the Canadiana of this video. I'm also a bit of a fan of Lynne Nicoletti's designs. I have 9 of her designs in my stash. I have one on my wish list still. I have stitched both the Bluenose Dime and the Maple Leaf Penny. They are both framed and hanging in my office at work. I thought they were appropriate for an accounting office. I hope to be at the next stitching at the library, we can talk about the possibilities of you borrowing the Bluenose Dime design.
I am cautiously excited about potentially borrowing the pattern. If you do make it to the library, could you also have a picture of the maple leaf penny? I can’t even find a picture of that one and I am intrigued. Hope to see you at the library.
The Avro Arrow was the most advanced plane to be built at that time. It was light years ahead of other designs. The ending of that program incredibly political.
Hi, Judy! Your Canadian flag finish is gorgeous! I can see why you are thrilled. Thank you for sharing the bits of Canadian history with us. Your Mirabilia is looking great as well. I , too, have struggled with fitting beads on certain fabrics. Do you stitch your beads on the diagonal or straight with a full x? Or do your alternate depending on the area and look you are wanting? I hope you are out of water restrictions soon. I sent you an email. Thanks!
The Mapleleaf montage is a beauty in person! The history behind each image is also fascinating! Beautiful work!
14,000 stitches 😮😮😮
Maple leaf looks super!!
Wonderful video Judy, the maple leaf montage looks amazing. I love your plan for a Canadian patriotic wall!

Happy Canada Day from Ontario 💗 Your stitching is lovely! It’s a shame that designer has retired.
