Thank you for joining us, and our love for all things needlework!
Please thank your hubby for his years of service. So glad you had a wonderful time at StitchCon. You got some “good stuff!” Happy stitching!❤
Please tell your husband thank you so much for his service. I’m 70, old enough to remember being sent home on the bus having an air raid drill. I was in grade school, small town, I graduated with 24 in my class. A high school girl made me cry on the bus telling me we could be bombed anytime. My sister told me not to cry because it was a practice. I believe some of the younger generations are so far moved from war, they aren’t as appreciative as they should be. Although you would think 9/11 would be a wake up call to all. I love God, country and the American people. I also enjoy your floss tubes and think both of you have beautiful hair tonight. Enjoy your Fourth of July. Thanks also for your sacrifice as a family. 😊
Aww I’m so sorry that would have been so scary as a child. We have made sure our children are very aware of 9/11 even though several of them were born after 2001. It’s a moment that truly made the world stand still. I graduated in a class of 12. A small private school held in our church. Thank you so much for your kind words I will pass them on to my husband ❤️
Another great video. I always love you both. When do we get to see Emma’s baby bump? Looks like you both had a blast at Stitch Con and received a lot of nice gifts. I hope you and your family’s have a great 4th of July. I have a lot of respect for our military. All the sacrifices that they have given to protect our country is greatly appreciated. My dad and 4 brothers all served in the Navy. Two of them actually served during the Vietnam War. I remember crying as a little girl when they had to leave. I didn’t think they were going to come back alive. I want to thank your husband for his service and everything he sacrificed to keep our country safe and for when he had to leave his family behind to do his duty. Looking forward to your next FlossTube ❤❤❤
Love seeing all your WIPs, new charts and gifts from stitch con. Happy Stitching!
Glad you had such a good time at StitchCon.
Loved hearing about your Stitch Con experience and seeing all your stitching goodies. Glad y’all had a great time! ❤️
Thank you so much!
Love hearing about Stitch Con! Sounds like a lot of fun! I would love to go some day! Thank your husband for her service to our country! I'm stitching on my One Nation while watching your videl! I started on the red and white stripes of the flag and have almost three rows done! I had been doing some stitching on another project but figured the Fourth of July was a good time for some One Nation stitching!
I love that purse holder trick! Mind blown ❤ -Stephanie
congratulations to your husband! A hero!
Also really appreciate those smalls that are stitched on wood! i am doing a flag right now and can’t wait to be done. it’s hard to stitch because it’s not flexible.
Wow! What a great recap! Sounds like it was amazing. As always great to catch up with you two
Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for a great video! Loved seeing your stitching and non -stitching LOL. Sounds like stitch con was a blast. Congratulations to your husband on his upcoming retirement and thank him your his service and blessings to the entire family. Happy summer and happy stitching! Lori
Thank you so much!
Joy I have a suggestion for you Wash * Fold piece. I would take out the little stitched plus sign between the words then cut the fabric between the words. Then stitch your Dry and then sew the 3 pieces together with a cute piece of fabric for sashing between them. You can also use the same fabric to do a border all around the piece when you finish to tie it all together. Tips from a quilter
Such a great idea!! Thank you ❤️
Hi friends! 👋🏼 Such a fun update! Always love seeing what y’all are up to, and that Halloween finish is amazing! I may need that pattern (the boot and the nose one-so cute!)
Thank you!! It’s so cute isn’t it!?! I can’t wait to have them to display this Halloween 🎃 ❤️
Great job ringing the bell Emma. Joy, I am just like you, just got back from Stitch Maine and I may have put in 50 stitches...lol. I think I am the girl that gets the spool stitch. I will send you girls an email.
Im not sure what kind of bibs youre looking for but I was in a store in Waverly Iowa, called Fiber works and they had some bibs. These were like towel with a hole to pull over the head and a band to cross stitch on on the front. They had about five white ones. Not sure how to attach a picture. Hope my description isn’t clear as mud:)
Another awesome video you two, love it all!
Thanks so much!
Just found your channel. I hear lots of others mention you, but somehow I thought your channel and the Sassy Southern Stitchers were one in the same. Now I know better.
I’m so glad you found us!! Happy Stitching ❤️
Looks like you guys had soo much fun! Ill get there one day 😅 I am so behind on watching flosstubes that yall have another one already, yikes!
❤ can you show how you stitch in that square thingy. And, how you determine how to leave enough border in case you want to frame your stitches. Also, I think you have talked about crocheting. Would love to see something you have crocheted. Thanks in advance.
Great idea! I will share in an upcoming video. Happy Stitching!
Would love for you to share some of your fav recipes from bday celebrations
Will do!!
Love your videos ❤
Thank you!!
What a huge accomplishment for your hubby! Thank you all for the sacrifices made for our freedom. Thanks for sharing your StitchCon experience as well. So fun!
Thank you!!
I taught students in the Charleston area who pronounced their last name as LeGree (Legare).
I think that must be the correct way to say it. Happy Stitching ❤️
My grandmother’s name was Ura Venus
I knew there had to be U names ❤️❤️
Great video! I look forward to your videos. I love long video! My husband retired after 29 years in the Air Force. He was in the Pentagon on 9/11. It was a terrible day! I thank the good Lord he was safe. Congratulations on your husband retirement. We moved 18 times. It was hard at first to not move every 3 to 4 years.
Thank you! I’m so happy your husband was safe. It was such a scary day. You really do get use to moving, it’s like a fresh start every 3 yrs. I’m looking forward to settling in. Happy Stitching!
Congratulations to your husband. So grateful for his service. Thanks to you for being a supportive Navy wife! Was so excited to see your FlossTube. Love all of your goodies you shared. ❤
Thank you!!
I saw one bib on Ebay and one on Mercari
Thank you!! I will tell Emma, we are always on the lookout ❤️
I also wanted to tell you I love the respect you show for each other.
Thank you ❤️❤️ It’s so special when your daughters grow up and you get to be friends. We have so much fun together.
Uma! Name the baby Uma 💕
What a great video! I'm so happy that I got to meet you at Stitch-Con! I hope that we will see each other again next year!
Thank you!! Yes, I’m so happy we met ❤️ Stitch con 2025 or bust 😉
What is the name of the floss tube with the mother and daughter you mentioned while getting emotional? I thought you said their names were Pam and Steph
Just keep stitchin ❤
Could you please give me the information on the presidents pattern? Thank you.
I’d be happy too! It’s a cloudsfactory pattern. They sell all of their patterns on their website as PDFs so you are able to start stitching right away. Happy Stitching! ❤️
I have a Halloween Just Cross Stitch that I received yesterday . I am not a fan of Halloween! I can send it if y’all would like it. Where do I find an address to send it to ?
That is so kind! Our email address is in the description message us and Emma can give you our address. Thank you!
