Walter is my favorite. I could watch him all day.
Walter and Peanut have been a part of his act almost from the beginning. Jeff Dunham is from Dallas, Texas and he's also big into helicopters. He wrote a book a few years ago and he said that Walter is based off a guy who housed his aircraft in a hanger near the hanger where Jeff kept his helicopter.
Jeff has actually built two helicopters himself.
Actually he s s originally from Ireland, but was adopted by a texan couple as a baby
It would definitely be worth watching his comedy specials, his first one from 2006 "Arguing with myself" is really what helped him get so big so quick. But all of his specials are worth watching, maybe for the movie channel 🤔 lol
Watch his opening about how his daughter learned to pump gas…I laughed so hard I couldn’t breath….
Jeff Dunham is so good at what he does that you really think that the puppets are really talking.
You'd like to watch some of his TV interviews that have Jeff with other guests on someone's TV show. He really makes the character another person in the room. You can watch people getting genuinely angry with the puppet, but having no problem with Jeff at all. It's hilarious.
He was on Gutfeld once, and that happened to one of the guests. Jeff Dunham uses the Walter puppet, but redressed as Joe Biden, and it's hilarious.
I saw him perform live about 10 years ago. It was literally like watching different people talking to each other. Truly one of the best ventriloquists everer

Jeff's DVDs have special features than includes him showing how he makes his puppets, the real nuts 'n bolts aspects of it.
He also has a show out showing how he makes his own dolls. He's really talented.
My favorite is peanut. One of his originals from the 80s and 90s along with Walter
Most of the time you have to watch the whole show as things brought up in the opening monologue or by one of the characters (or even references to a specific audience member) are used for comedy later in the special by a different character. Watching one character's bit from the show generally has you wondering every once in a while why the audience is laughing so hard at something that doesn't seems only slightly humorous.

One skit that he did was with the winner of season 12 of America's Got Talent. Her name is Darcy Lynn Farmer. They did a Halloween skit together.

Very few people know an "Achmed". No one knows a "Peanut". Almost Every Single Person knows a "Walter". People love Walter because he reminds them of someone!

Not sure this has been mentioned yet, but just in case...in addition to all the talents you both listed at the beginning of the video, he also makes all of his puppets. So he designs them and figures out the mechanics of how to make the puppet do different facial reactions with just one of his hands controlling the puppet. Really, really impressive entertainer.
Definitely do more walter, he is just so relatable🤣🤣🤣. But sorry if i havent done my research but please do peanut if you haven’t (by the time you read this i will know probably lol) but jeff at one point was the most famous world wide comedian alive… thats beyond impressive and it’s criminally overlooked

I took my family to see him this past March and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. Literally 2 hrs of side splitting laughter.

Definitely check out Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special, especially the part where Peanut ruins The Night Before Christmas! Still one of my favorites! Same with Arguing with Myself. I'm with the other commenters, you really can't go wrong with any of his skits

We used to joke my dad was like Walter. He use to laugh about it too. Sadly we lost him in 2005. Loved his laugh.

Finally we see Walter haha. He's my favorite character from Jeff's acts. Peanut and Achmed are a very close 2nd though. This video was slightly disappointing for me though. Not because of anything you two said, but because I know the video you chose didn't even cover 60% of the stuff Walter says, and watching an entire bit of Walter will usually leave me crying from laughter. One show Jeff and Walter made fun of a guy that got up during the middle of the show to go to the bathroom. They stopped the entire show for the guy, and once he started to take a little too long, Walter started questioning what he was doing. Walter asked his wife what his name as, and she told them his name. At the venue they were at, the microphones were hooked up to the speakers in the bathroom so you could hear the show. Walter started calling his name and asking him what was taking him so long, and telling him the audience is waiting on him. About 90 seconds later he comes running back into the theater and he has an embarrassed look on his face.

There was one special where they went to the Middle East too funny he was actually told not to bring Acmed on stage as they might find it offensive…I believe the audience was a bit disappointed that he wasn’t used, but in tru Dunham style he had a backup ..worth watching
