- It's very hard to figure out How to Stop Liking Your Crush, especially if you now have to Get Over a Break-Up and learn how to feel okay. I made this video with words of wisdom you’ve most likely never heard before. I hope this helps!

MY NOTES // (just in case you enjoy reading more)
1. Grab a pencil and paper to write a list of qualities and things you WANT in your future husband or wife.
- Then, go through them and see how many your crush is missing.
- Next, realize that during the dating/friend stages, they are on their best behavior. All the habits and unkind action they have will only get worse in long term dating; especially marriage.
2. Cry.
- Releases endorphins.
- Pushing off, shoving down or refusing to break/let go, is just delaying a pain that is coming.
- You’re just finding a fake rest and fake peace.
- AND if you feel any endless sadness, loneliness, anger, depression or hollow relationships.. those are signs of refusing to break.
- Brokenness and pain are a form of healing.
3. Do something!
- Use creative expression (art, music, dance, writing, sports, doodle & poetry)
- Realize you’re not alone, you aren’t the only one who's going through this or something else.
- Go help someone else even in your own brokenness and watch how it heals you.
4. Stop daydreaming about them.
- Don’t continue to imagine fixing thing or memories.
- You can’t change people, no matter how much you want to, or feel your opinion is right.
- Let them go.
- You know what they say, “If you love something let it go, and if it’s meant to be it’ll come back to you.”? (It can’t come back to you, if you never let it go to begin with.)
5. Ask yourself if you’ve subscribed to lies in your life?
- rejection ≠ unworthiness
- performance ≠ worth
- outward appearance ≠ value
- striving ≠ success
Outro: “Instead of giving them a piece of your mind, give them a piece of your heart.”
- What I mean by this is, don’t ignore them. Don’t play silly texting games.
- Be there for them if they need you.
- Be honest, and be real.
- BUT, don’t let them be a place of comfort and safety for you anymore. Don’t let them have a say or give you advice in big life changing things.
- Start growing in who YOU are and not who you are in the other person.

Just know that you're not alone in that category.
Crushes on people are evil, because you don't choose them, your crushing chooses before you know it's even happening. Too bad the process of compatibility/ forming relationships didn't have this biological attribute. Crushes don't discriminate against incompatibility.

Had a nervous breakdown after seeing my crush walking down the sidewalk with his female friend that I know he has more than just friendship feelings for.
I started liking this person.
I didn’t know I like them because I was in a relationship at the time.
And we were best friends.
After I broke up with my ex, I started to notice my feelings.
In the beginning of me noticing my feelings that person liked me too.
But as my feelings grew I finally confessed.
They turned me down and said that we should be friends because they didn’t want us being together ruining our friendship.
I was angry at first.
I found out everything.
I just wanted to see if we could try, and if it didn’t work out then I’d really let go of it all.
But they refused.
Then I started to be really really sad.
Crying for hours, deleting pictures, ripping drawings, hiding paintings, everything of them away.
I even stopped being friends for a while.
I’ve tried so many methods of healing.
Nothing has worked.

Yeah, it's tough when you're friends. And they're taken already, but sometimes they seem like they feel something too. But I want to respect what already is. And I wasn't looking for a relationship with anyone to begin with (still healing, and figuring out what I even want in a relationship/who I want to be). But feelings just sorta happened. :/
It is however, at least in my perspective, helping heal and strengthen boundaries, self love, unconditional love, and respect.
It's just hard to fight or let go of feeling sad for what isn't. But I also have to keep reminding myself that my thoughts are not reality/it won't be like my thoughts. I do wish to stay friends, but I hope this back and forth pain & love feeling gets better over time.

I’d say try to write the list less from a perspective of Prince Charming or ‘The Perfect Guy’ and more from the standings of Qualities Your Parents Have [the qualities you like, of course haha] or things you love about grandparents, friends, family etc.
Right down traditions you want to keep or political views, things that when you put this ‘crush’ to the test [for a lack of better words] it’s not about him being perfect but him being someone who is a liked minded person, someone who’s perfect FOR you. ♥️

Ive been liking this boy for 2 years. Hes my best friends brother so its hard to stop being around him. I wanna stop liking him because he is 4 years older than me and at first i thought he talked to me differently from every other girl but really he was just being the same to everyone. I hate my crush, its so ironic. this is why I have to get over him, because he is wasting my time, I always try to push this guy away, and not give him and his friends ANY attention (of course while not being mean) I dont even talk to them, I dont even know them that well, AND THEY STILL KEEP COMING, I can't stand sitting beside, look or talk with this guy and his friends.
