These videos are the absolute best! I don't have too many memories of my biological dad, but I vividly remember him taking me and the rest of my family to all the big museums in downtown Chicago, including the Shedd Aquarium where I marvelled at all the weird and exotic marine life. Those are great memories that I will always cherish, no matter what age I am. At 57 years of age, I think I'm a little old to go back to school to study to become a paleontologist! But no matter! I still love to watch these videos (and read books) about prehistoric forms of life. It's just amazing stuff. My mother is always telling me the worst things about my dad! But...I'm very glad that I inherited his great love of learning. My father had plenty of issues, but he was a very smart and well educated man. Hey dad, thanks for taking me to the aquarium. Great memories! I will always remember that.
My step father also took my siblings and I to the Chicago mueseums,my sisters are his kids..We went to all the museums, how many are there 4? ,been too long lol..I appreciate those memories as well!.

People say, “ all these sea creatures are extinct!” But I think differently. There is 90-85% of the ocean that hasn’t been explored! Plus melting ice caps and deep waters, anything like these could exist still!
Pretty scary to think that a Megalodon had "Enemies" considering its size. But with the Oceans being so huge, makes one wonder if it really went extinct or just adapted to colder water with the start of the Ice Age. Considering we have but explored around 5% of the Oceans, leaving 95% open to debate and speculation. There is another interesting (And Debatable) theory. Sharks have the ability to raise their body temperature (Called Mesothermy) to a temperature higher than the surrounding water. What if the Megalodon used this ability to survive the Ice Age? As Megalodon had an appetite for whales, the beginning of the Ice Age brought a few interesting theories. At this time it is believed that whales moved closer to the Ocean Floor and colder water as a means of survival and escaping starvation. And as the Megalodon allegedly preferred warmer water it is speculated that this survival method of whales may have contributed to the Megalodon (Alleged) extinction. But there is another survival theory. The Livyathan and Megalodon is believed to have both gone extinct during the same time period. But what if the Megalodon turned to the Livyathan as prey, therefore the Livyathan went extinct and the Megalodon did not? What if the Megalodon didn't go completely extinct. But rather adapted to colder waters as a means of survival? Using its Mesothermy capability as a means of survival, and also escaping extinction through starvation. Something to think about, next time you visit the oceans. Furthermore, there are many recent claims of spotting the Megalodon. What if Global Warming is the perfect time for the Megalodon to explore warmer Oceans? Just a thought.

Chinese could have beaten the megalodon and turned them into sharks fin soup. While the japanese would have devoured the leviathan for its juicy meat. These creatures were lucky they lived way before mankind.
as iv stated before, iv been on youtube for so long and this channel is the only one that made me so disgusted with it that i wanted to write a comment about it. for me its the definition of nothing, so many of their videos are completely unfunny, uninformative, misleading with clickbait titles and offer absolutely nothing to the viewers other than a way to waste their time.
Um most of these sound more like prey than predators. Livyatan was probably the only one that could try and take on Megaladon. But what about a Mosasaur?? That's what I Cam looking for.
@28 9b4 abdul aziz That thing is 40m (131ft) long, almost twice bigger than the real one (17m [55ft] long). For comparison, the largest blue whale is 30m (98ft) long.
That is awesome dude you did great with the cetothurium, Zygophyseter, Alophyseter, brygmophyseter, Rhamposuchus and Liyatan you did a good job dude you are the best
Migration but I don’t think anything that big in size would stay in regular ocean waters, they HAVE to be in the DEEP sea. Especially now (if it’s still around)
You know, much bigger sea creatures could live in the oceans bellow.. only 5% of the ocean has been discovered. It may feel like a lot has been discovered.... but really not much.
I disagree. Stronger bite doesn't mean much ine the prehistoric era. It's more just speed, whoever gets the first hit, and how smart they are. And also, it's livyatan, not livyathan.
I would like it if the Megalodon won against the Livyatan. I already have a hundreds of Megalodon vs Livyatan drawings after watching this video. Your videos are great.
mate.. this was 23 million years ago. with all the people going far out into every ocean, atleast someone would've seen it and gathered solid proof of it by now.
Why would something so dominant hide in the deep sea. They also said it would come up to the surface when hunting. So why would it be hiding in deep ocean for? There are big enough prey for it to come up to the surface.
I am thinking that possibly the LIVYATAN could defeat MEGALODON due to echolocation and possibly greater intelligence. The echolocation would allow it to see in the dark thereby evading and/or sneaking up on its enemies. If it had far greater intelligence it could develop superior strategies to win against the megalodon. Just a thought.
gentlegiant6585 Orcas (killer whales) beat Great White Sharks. Intelligence is key. Oh, and orcas are not even whales... they’re closer to dolphins. But killer dolphin when Flipper was a top tv show wouldn’t have been wise.
There's already pretty strong evidence of megafauna being eradicated by smaller versions of themselves (at least those species not wiped out by extinction events). Megalodon died out as the oceans began to lose nutrition density, same as most of these large toothed whales, and life began to specialize. While Megalodon was built to eat virtually anything, it lacked specialization. So whereas Megalodon was a sledge hammer, the smaller shark species were surgeon's scalpels - highly specialized and able to just eek out an advantage over Megalodon in every ocean zone.
Is this enemy or prey Because most of them are whales but the last was actually cool.I think the mosasaurs would have fought the megalodon but they probably lived in different times 🦈🐋

I see that Bright Side is more interested in Megalodon and the Mariana Trench stuffs.
Chinese could have beaten the megalodon and turned them into sharks fin soup. While the japanese would have devoured the leviathan for its juicy meat. These creatures were lucky they lived way before mankind.

The only one of these that was competition for Megaladon was Livyatan. None of the others stood a chance.
True
I agree
the crocodile did as the megalodon was having a very large rear body compared to its head
while the croc had a very large jaw
Mousasaru can eat the livayatan but the meh and eat livayatan too if he's smart enough
Like you'd know...
Plz make more videos of existence of Megalodon plz I like your channel!!!
Pure CLICKBAIT - this channel's credibility takes a HUGE dive with this one.
I'm amazed that this channel have 20mil subscriber and still have to resort to this clickbait. Such a low 😖
as iv stated before, iv been on youtube for so long and this channel is the only one that made me so disgusted with it that i wanted to write a comment about it. for me its the definition of nothing, so many of their videos are completely unfunny, uninformative, misleading with clickbait titles and offer absolutely nothing to the viewers other than a way to waste their time.
@Geoc Prey does not equal "dangerous enemies". That's not what people wanted to hear about when they read the title.
Lol
the way he pronounced ramphosuchus has me dying
Livyatan vs megalodon that's better then KSI vs Logan Paul 😂😂😂😂😂😂
*Leviathan
Gibbi56 - Growtopia n' more Its spelled Livyatan not Leviathan

Great video, love dino-like creatures. Who else?
I was scanning through the comments to see if anybody else noticed that every time he said it incorrectly it made me cringe

Lol
Epik joke
True xD
MEGALODON enemies? Rename title to MEGALODON PREY!
Livyatan wasn't its prey. It was actually the other way round
Nope Megalodon wasnt the Livyatans prey. they would both fight to the death but the Megalodon would most likely win.
U assumed it's gender
Who??
Honestly the livyatan did have echolocation that could stun the shark and immobilize it then maybe bite its fins until meg is dead
Um most of these sound more like prey than predators. Livyatan was probably the only one that could try and take on Megaladon. But what about a Mosasaur?? That's what I Cam looking for.
I think that was in a different time period. You do have a point tho
A mosa I'd smaller it's like a ant to livyatan and meg
ᴠᴇʀᴛᴇx mosasaur was at least 50 ft long. While now researchers think Megalodon was at least 30-40 ft
Kayla Van Sickle different times so they would never meet
Justin Shih nope mosasaurs are around 60 ft google it
Nice job 👍

@28 9b4 abdul aziz That thing is 40m (131ft) long, almost twice bigger than the real one (17m [55ft] long). For comparison, the largest blue whale is 30m (98ft) long.
That is awesome dude you did great with the cetothurium, Zygophyseter, Alophyseter, brygmophyseter, Rhamposuchus and Liyatan you did a good job dude you are the best

I enjoyed the video but found that puppy crying noise got annoying after like the 4th time
Kirsa Kaboom my exact thoughts too!!!
Kirsa Kaboom I found the whole thing a bit annoying. Especially the 3 minutes of intro
What!!!!!
Yea I heard it to I was gonna check it later but the nose was gone the next day
Actually tho
People say magalodon is extinct but
WE HAVE ONLY EXPLORED 5% OF THE
FREEKING OCEAN SO HOW TF WOULD WE KNOW!?!?!?
Chinadoll 241738 actually 6%
Cause we haven’t seen them
Settle down, no need to shout it's just a bit of " did you know video" Relax.
Migration but I don’t think anything that big in size would stay in regular ocean waters, they HAVE to be in the DEEP sea. Especially now (if it’s still around)
how do we know that we have explored 5% of this freaking ocean
you forgot #7 humans in the meg movie they killed 2 megalodons
We didn’t exist back then 🤦🏻♀️
meg aint a documentary
It's only just movie it's great when it's real
Imagine a Megalodon 1245ft
Lol. Now taht os what i call smart.😂😂
The dog cry is so FUNNY!!!!😀😁😂😂
If any fish that could beat Megalodan that will be Livyatan
Roman Reigns good luck on lucemea
Its leviathan
@XtieggygamerX yeah' hahaha 😂
Livyatan is a mammal.
@@sarsath7481 how can you say that leviathan is a mammal?
You know, much bigger sea creatures could live in the oceans bellow.. only 5% of the ocean has been discovered. It may feel like a lot has been discovered.... but really not much.
If they live down their no threat to us simce theybwould most likely pop like a ballon close to the surface.......because science
ABC is talking rubbish. we have mapped and observed 20% with 80% visited but not yet fully mapped
Abclookatme 123456 wow I thought much more than that has been discovered😵 thanks
i know i sall that on a vid its crazy

Most dangerous Megalodon enemies ever existed is Cthulhu

The Cthulhu is just a work of fiction by H.P. Lovecraft
Cthulhu really 😂

@@zzzapsspam204 yeah i know 😁
I like it when the livyatan appears with all the creatures inside it.
1:00 omg it sounds like a dog has been shot in the leg...
Yeah but it's so sad
I disagree. Stronger bite doesn't mean much ine the prehistoric era. It's more just speed, whoever gets the first hit, and how smart they are. And also, it's livyatan, not livyathan.
Oops. Wrong comment. I meant to say that to the pearson who thinks the megalodon would win.
Cheyenne Jamason yes
Yeah...😢

I would like it if the Megalodon won against the Livyatan. I already have a hundreds of Megalodon vs Livyatan drawings after watching this video. Your videos are great.

Maybe not TOO majestic..

Who believes that megaladons are real and not yet extinct
Inggay Gatiwan Me
mate.. this was 23 million years ago. with all the people going far out into every ocean, atleast someone would've seen it and gathered solid proof of it by now.
megaladon is real, it is also extinct
He said they were deep sea so we wouldnt know.
Why would something so dominant hide in the deep sea. They also said it would come up to the surface when hunting. So why would it be hiding in deep ocean for? There are big enough prey for it to come up to the surface.
Best video ever😃😃😃
I am thinking that possibly the LIVYATAN could defeat MEGALODON due to echolocation and possibly greater intelligence. The echolocation would allow it to see in the dark thereby evading and/or sneaking up on its enemies. If it had far greater intelligence it could develop superior strategies to win against the megalodon. Just a thought.
Yes but megalodon is stronger the Livyatan so i think megalodon still win.
@@CorruptionDestroyer Brain power beats muscle power.
iTsBlue u spelled brain wrong
Hey i mean humans were not strong but still we are the most powerful lifeforms in the world
gentlegiant6585 Orcas (killer whales) beat Great White Sharks.
The great white shark
Is this enemy or prey
Because most of them are whales but the last was actually cool.I think the mosasaurs would have fought the megalodon but they probably lived in different times 🦈🐋
xX-Phoenix- 07 yup mosasaurus lived way earlier
That's is exactly what I thought but I wish this video was more interesting and had something in it that I could learn
Bit sad that the mosa and mega lived at different times
