People were generally looking for a video of a person driving his car for the first time on his own, cuz we're curious as new drivers, and your video delivered!
I love this. This made me smile so much and I love that you've left this up. It's a really sweet video and you're really funny. I'm learning to drive at the moment and so many of the things you said go through my head every time I drive too.
The thumbnail is eye catching, the title is well worded and the video is relatable. That's why you have the views.. and majority of people like your video because of your misery (about the mirror). You're funny and relatable. That's what youtube wants ☺ good job.
I accept what a few other comments have written - it's not as easy than it sounds to beat the fear of driving. Be careful and get help from other people. I searched round many websites and found a lot of expert advice by searching google on sites like Roys Quick Fix. Good luck and hope you succeed!
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out fear of driving a carhow to overcome phobia of driving try Tarbetti Car Coping Tutor (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend got cool success with it.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover fear of driving a carhow to overcome phobia of driving try Skyarza Car Coping Star (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got cool success with it.
Um. I've just checked back on this video after ages, and HOW has this got over 28,000 views?? Like, why would that many people want to watch me drive a car? ahaha, I just can't comprehend it. It's madness ahaha :P
youve made me smile so much watching this ahaha ! im starting driving again next week after a year off and youve made me feel better about it so thank you!!
When I was learning to drive, parking in a spot by going forward, lined up my wing mirror with the line that you first come to of the spot you are trying to park in. Also remain in centre of the road so you have enough space for your turning angle of the car. Get yourself a camera mount that you can stick on the window.
Omg I actually love this video! 😍 you are just a ray of sunshine! I’m picking up my first car today and I’ve got to drive it back on my own... eeek I’m nervous but I’m just going to go into it with your attitude!!
You remind me of myself after passing my driver´s test (it was 6 month ago). But you made no mistake, whilst I did when driving alone for the first time. I had felt pretty confident driving with somebody else as a passenger next to me. And I made practically no mistakes, or just very slight ones. But the moment I was driving alone, with nobody else as a support, I made 3 mistakes during one trip. The first one was that my car just died right on a roundabout - during rush hour in the centre of the city! Then I started panicking, and I made another mistake - I put there the second gear and tried to start off. And I managed it. But - the car made such a brrrrrrmmmm noise that everybody was looking at me. It was SO embarassing! Then my car died before a railroad crossing. But hey - that happens. (I tried to calm myself down). All of these mistakes were made just because after getting my driver´s license I didn´t drive for about 3 months at all. And it is a huge break for a beginner. So drive, drive, drive - at least once a week, but the more often, the better. Now I drive much more often than before and I haven´t had any problems since.
DanaPatriciaMary1 Your car dying is not so much a mistake you made so much as the car needs mechanical attention o_O I had that happen to me in my instructor's car years ago - we were going around a roundabout and it just suddenly cut out and I had to restart it very quickly. Very scary. We pulled over and the engine kept juddering while it was in neutral like it was in gear and not getting enough petrol. So weird. Unless you mean you stalled while you were waiting to joint the roundabout, then don't worry. It happens! I remember my mum stalling the car a couple of times when I was a kid and she'd been driving for years.
Cat Tobin My case was the second one you mentioned, the same as your mom´s. I stalled when trying to go on the roundabout. There was a car in front of me (before the roundabout), so when I approached it, I had to stop. And then I just didn´t realize I didn´t shift on the first gear to get moving and I forgot I was on the second gear. And I started moving on the second gear. And that was the mistake. At that time I desperately wished I had a car with automatic stick. But I live in Europe and most cars here have manual stick.
Wow, Poole is pretty nice. I've never seen so many detached houses in one place in England xD I moved to America last year and passed my driving test here recently. I never drove in the UK, couldn't get the hang of it at all, so it was scarier learning here in the US since the roads are bigger and busier. Thankfully it only took me two months to learn and get my license (the tests are irresponsibly easy, thus everyone here is a bad driver including me), and I've been out a couple of times by myself. It was very scary the first time, even though I was going to the supermarket five minutes away :P I'm 25, I should have been driving for years by now, damn it!
Omg! When you put Whitney on! It’s literally my dream to sit in my own car with I wanna Dance with Somebody on and I’ve been learning to drive for 2 years desperate to get there!
Haha love this. Just drove for the first time yesterday in my new car.. never been so scared. My mouth was like cotton wool. Then I got beeped at today.. Never felt so irritated and scared and then had someone overtake me.
hi ya its 2016,ive just passed my driving test on 21rst january and i still cant believe im now allowed to drive to anywhere in the world. watching your video is great you did the same as me like talk to myself my first outing was to the garage it was nerves but i just shouted oot for help to put petrol in my car, then the wheel locked in and my car would start with a little help from a lady i got in the shop to pay and i let them know it was my irst time oot in my car they were all very nice. but i felt on top of the world what a feeling its now febuary and i go out and drive every day me and the dog go out. bye
I have an interview today and I have no way to get there so I have to drive there. I’ve never driven in my car on my own and it is an hour away. I’m unsure if I have a death wish 😂
Is your car a stick shift (mechanical, three on the tree)? I live in the US and I can't drive a stick what's so ever all the vechles I've driven have been automatic
@@jamesfitzgerald6915 lol. No People here are snobs and we get looked down on when we say we want to learn automatic. I asked my instructor why its Our preferred transmission. She said she does not know. I am guessing because our roads are tighter and need more control.
I can't park for shit and their is loads of people...pulls in and the place is empty as fuck 😂. Also who goes to mcdonalds in the car and parks up and walks in...they have drive throughs for a reason haha
I'm probably going to be worst because when i get my autobot aka bumblebee i will be scared to death and probably get killed by raghit because bee will have bumps all over him :'(
You're a nice woman, but this is not a good first drive alone video because you're paying too much attention to the camera. In fact most instructors would recommend no-one do chatty video drives on their first drives alone for safety reasons.

This was hilarious I loved it? "You guys feeling safe? Not sure I am." I laughed so hard!
Over 45,000 views??? Why?? How?? This video is so old and weird and I look terrible in it. What is this?? hahaha :')

Your beautiful
I just passed my driving test
It’s a common problem we all have to do and it’s so nice to watch someone else film it and go through the thoughts and feelings of driving by yourself
Now you have 86k :)
the real test is driving on your own, its nothing but your own judgement but its what makes you a better driver.
I'll tell you why so many people are watching your video - it's because you're completely adorable. Drive safely sweetie.
Suscribed! Honestly, I am finding this so relatable. Having recently passed my test, now I have to commute on my own and the fear is real

@@jamesfitzgerald6915 lol. No People here are snobs and we get looked down on when we say we want to learn automatic.

I'm probably going to be worst because when i get my autobot aka bumblebee i will be scared to death and probably get killed by raghit because bee will have bumps all over him :'(
