I agree with the concept. 20 years ago I was lugging big 400 amp 12 volt car batteries and jumper cables out to the middle of the meadow to jump start my tractor. About 5 years ago I went to Harbor Freight and found a small unit similar to what you show and picked it up. The third time I used mine to jump start my neighbor's car she had me take her to Harbor Freight so she could get her own, which she did. She likes it a lot. Like you say very light, rechargeable, easy to use,USB slot for phones, etc.
i had this exact one for my old pick up, they are excellent ! new truck doesnt need it but i still carry it and have done my white knight routine a couple times, people look at it and say that little thing wont start it ? ..............stand back :) use it to start the truck then plug it in to the cigar socket or the usb socket and the truck then recharges the unit....almost free energy lol
I have had an older version of the gooloo for over 3 years now and it has jumped numerous cars - atvs - boats - lawn tractors in ND winters. well not so much the tractor in the winter .. but everything else
I have the gooloo 4000...not the s... and it’s an amazing little bit of kit. I don’t know what the difference is between mine and yours other than yours is a little bit more fancy but these damn things are just awesome.
I disconnect anything that sits more than a couple weeks and put a charger on them occasionally to top them off year round. I need a new jump pack. I've got cables in my main vehicle but use a pack on occasion. Thanks Rex.
I also have used a similar product, they do work great! They can also work if you are shooting outside to keep your Zulus scope charged during a long critter hunt! Just leave your USB-C cable plugged into it. Rex you need to clean & lube your car battery terminals!
Hurricane zone. Battery jumper, 12 volt air compressor, tire plug kit, road flares for highway, gloves, flashlight, full size spare, jack and proper tools for changing the spare. Boo Boo kit after your done cussing and cutting your hand. Always ready
Y’all might look to going the Battery Tender route, for occasionally used equipment and vehicles. Ain’t cheap, but, cheaper then replacing battery’s every season, and screwing around jumping, and ending up with stymied projects and missions. Boost battery packs are still way useful for self rescue and rescuing others.
I have a Harbor Freight version. Harbor Freight gets a bad rap, my buddies at our local pawn shop won't take em, but My hand held jump starter works flawlessly, no I am not affiliate, just concuring that yes! If you don't have one you need to get, pays for self in spades..
Yes, I know her terminals are corroded... its the perfect test. Here is a link to this exact model: amzn.to/3Dmle7A
Project Farm approved.
That's where I discovered it
I have 1 of these in each of my vehicles . They have saved me more than once

If it works in the frozen Northland it will work anywhere. Followed the link and bought one.

Just bought one, Rex you cost me money again… cheers from Scotland.
There's one born everyday
My dual battery setup cannot die lol. But I carry one of those to help others in need. Simple and sweet tech.
Yes Sir. Awesome little unit...has saved my many times. Well worth having a couple of them charged up and ready to go.
Those are extremely handy. I also throw it in my ruck for USB charging equipment on the trail.
2.31 pounds 🙁 I wish electricity wasn't so heavy to carry
I've got one of them, used it to jump a 1986 60 horse Ford tractor in the winter. Stout little unit.

I have this! They work great! Mine says it'll start big rigs, and I bet it will. I use it on my lawnmower every spring.
Ive bought a couple of a different model Nico or something but im going to pick one or 2 of these up. seeing is believing!
Noco boost is the other popular one

Wear your danger glasses
Morning Rex, I love my GooLoo. Save led my a$$ plenty of times.
My jeep has 2 wire harnesses & mice chewed both..$1300.00 to relace..Thankfully my ins. covered it 😮
The Hulkman 8.5 is very good. Owned for 3 years and used twice, battery still at 84 percent

If the battery isn't completely dead I also highly recommend a supercapacitor jumper. 👍

There are also small electric compressors which are a life saver. Trail tech makes one
Did you see that the Amazon link you gave the yellow colored one is only $99.99
Yellow Red Pink Makes zero difference functionally.
@TiborasaurusRex yes I saw that they were the same, but good deal on the yellow one
I use a 3s lithium polymer pack 10-20ah 25C discharge. Much cheaper. Basically same thing with some nice croc clip adapters.
But can you get answers out of a POW with that gizmo?
AAA come out to replace a battery. He had a noco gb150 and said he could start vehicles without batteries.
Similar thing here. Just different brand
Look at that crusty old battery 😮
GooLoo
Looks like some NJ drone excrement on the positive terminal...
Why would the yellow be half the price of the red model?! 😅
If you have 2 wires you can jumpstart a car with a dewalt 20 volt tool battery
