唐武德九年，内廷生变，原太子之女李长歌侥幸逃出。逃亡途中，长歌偶遇化名为秦准的草原部落特勤阿诗勒隼，两人不打不相识，渐生英雄相惜之感。长歌在幽州粉碎一场阴谋，与此同时身份败露，前往㮶州避祸。她藏于㮶州刺史公孙恒身边，助其共抗草原势力侵袭，却未想到敌方将领隼竟是旧识秦准。长歌震惊痛心。然而㮶州情况危急，为争取时间等待援兵，李长歌与隼谈判，为大局甘愿沦为战俘被押往草原，意外得知大可汗另有野心。长歌决定暂放私仇，以身涉险拼死破局，隼为救长歌不惜与大可汗为敌，两人却阴差阳错天各一方。长歌辗转流亡，历经风雨的她逐渐领会仁者无敌的道理，最终彻底放下个人恩怨。在发现前隋势力才是挑动事端的幕后黑手后，长歌与隼联手为守护大唐与草原的和平贡献了自己的力量，两人也终于认清了对彼此的情感，携手共赴危局。
►Synopsis ：
In the 9th year of Wude Period of Tang Dynasty, Li Changge, the daughter of the former crown prince, accidentally escaped from the military coup in the palace. During her escape, Changge encountered the secret service agent of a grassland tribe, Ashina Sun, who was under the pseudonym of Qin Zhun. They got to know each other through a fight and their affection grew stronger. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou. However, at the same time, her identity was revealed, and she went to Shuozhou to escape capture. She hid herself beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him resist the invasion of the grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general was Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and distressed to discover Qin’s real identity. However, the situation in Yuzhou is in great danger. In order to gain time for reinforcements, Li Changge negotiated with Sun. For the sake of the overall situation, she was willing to be a prisoner and taken to the grassland. Then she accidentally learned that the Great Khan had an ulterior motive. Changge decided to temporarily put aside her personal vengeance, and risk her life to save the situation. In order to save Changge, Sun disobeyed the order of the Great Khan, but they were far apart from each other after that. After going through the arduous exile, Changge gradually understood the principle of the invincibility of the benevolent, and finally put aside her personal grievances. After discovering that the former forces of Sui Dynasty were the manipulators behind the scenes, Changge and Sun teamed up to protect the peace of Tang Dynasty and the grassland. They finally came to realize their deep affections towards each other and went to confront the crisis ahead.

Li Chang Ge has had so many roles & had so many experiences having an amazing transformation! She started as a sincere and talented disciple, eagerly learning martial arts and civilian management. And a loving daughter to her mother. Then she became a daughter seeking vengeance. Then she an unwilling but responsible master to A'Dou, then she became a master who failed to save her disciple, then she became a princess and a soldier defending her kingdom at all costs, then she became a slave in name only and felt warmth & love again from a friendship, then she lost that friendship due to her misguided sense of justice & short-sightedness. Then she fell into depression, losing all her confidence and slowly coming to loathe herself, struggling to find her purpose and falling into a cycle of self-blame, then she briefly found her calling in serving & taking care of the weak & the injured, but then she realised she doesn't need to interfere her own determined journey, that that for her, the taoist principle of non-interference means that she shouldn't interfere with her own will, purpose & desires, if she wants to do something & has good principles behind it, then she should do it! I am SO excited to see how she carries on!! Although Li Chang Ge is my favourite girl, ALL the girls in this show are MAGNIFICENT! Princess Yicheng is so SMART, Determined, ambitious & LOYAL..She's a princess endlessly fighting to save the Glory of her kingdom, she is a different version of Chang Ge herself. I LOVE Shiba, the last surviving member of the 18 Horsemen of Yanyun, she is fierce, fearless & unequivocally loyal to her masters, no matter old or new. I LOVE Mimi Gulli who gave Chang Ge a sister right after she lost a life-long sister, I LOVE how Mimi Gulli did her best as a sister, I LOVE Boss Hong Fu Nu, who is a female entrepreneur creating jobs, giving home & livelihood to commoner women and helping them become truly independent! Taking care of SO many young women.Truly a MATRIARCH!! I LOVE Leyan who's timid but resilient beyond belief! I LOVE nun Jing Dan, devoting her life to the care of others and helping others find their true purpose.

Ashile Sun and Yuan are simply too freakin' adorable. I just want to keep watching their interactions ❤
Also, I know some are ripping on Changge for being stubborn and reckless, and while her actions have not always been right, it's understandable why she did those things. Up to this point, Changge's only real motivation to continue living has been because of revenge. She has a lot of pain, hatred, and anger in her heart because of her past, and it makes her too impulsive and even blind to a lot of things. I think it would be similar for most of us if the same had happened to us and our families. Now she is starting to recognize that she cannot continue to live the way she has been living. She knows she has harmed those around her because her heart hasn't been entirely in the right place. She's remorseful and filled with guilt about what happened to A'Sun, and for having taken his kindness for granted. Thing is, she won't be able to love someone else or to truly have the desire to help her country(a country ruled by people who have destroyed her life) until she can heal from her past. I'm really happy to see her re-evaluating herself. By human nature, it is very difficult to not hate those who have hurt us. Most would want some kind of justice, so I admire Changge for doing some soul-searching and for having the courage to question herself. Her struggling with all of this is very realistic.

This is one captivating, epic and awesome series! This is my first viewing of Zhao Luci in such a serious dramatic role. She has done a superb job of making you feel the emotion she portrays. Dilraba has expanded her expertise with this awesome plot. Leo Wu, awesome character and talented in this series, he can pull off a serious fight and tenderly hold an adorable little girl. Liu Yuning as Han Du has quite the character development in this. Yuling Fang, always a favorite, has quite an interesting role here. All of the support cast are superb as well which gives authenticity to the whole story. Fantastic job everyone! 💖 from 🌎 USA.

I must say Chang Ge has one of the most biggest character developments I've seen so far. She was one of the most stubborn characters in dramas but her realising her mistakes helped her stopped suffering from revenge and I hope she stays that way
