    Tony Martin is a very good guy. Tony's era in Black Sabbath is criminally underrated big time. I love Cross Purposes, and especially The Headless Cross, The Eternal Idol, and TYR alot. The Headless Cross album in my opinion is a MASTERPIECE! I love every song on it, especially When Death Calls. I hate that Tony Martin did not get the recognition that he deserved in his time in Black Sabbath. I am glad that he is finally getting some recognition for his latest album Thorns. It is an amazing album. I can not wait until the Tony Martin era of Black Sabbath albums gets remastered and rereleased with hopefully bonus studio and live songs. I will definitely be buying them.

      'Shall I leave or shall I go'
      It's a jumbled mess to analyze without the confidence of working your way up, so to have sympathy for their sad song is to be a fool because a million musicians would gladly trade places with them in a second and be willing to take on that crossroad compared to never being heard of, that's the reality of those who never make it and can't understand how the lucky few turn on the ones who gave them their big break-
      Randy exploited his talents to the maxium at this chance, and earned his name because he gave everything he had to the project

    Martin Is a real musician, he is involved in music of many styles-
    Love iommi but time he hangs it up, he has nothing left to contribute and is a legend and beyond so why putter out.
    His new songs have nothing inspiring, Ozzy has to carry the song through and thats cute but not ok for listeners, time iommi enjoys being retired, turning into a senile prick is a bad ending to a spectacular career

    • @gbh5912
      @gbh5912 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The title should help you, the album is a theme from history and has many biblical connotations spoken of the times.
      People always questioned their motives and decisions with good and evil as their platform, to be satanic you'd have to promote it as a benefit which has nothing to do with this album-

      @@gbh5912 My question is why it bludgeons you with the satanism instead of approaching it in a more thoughtful way; have you read the lyrics to When Death Calls? @@M.H.I.A.F.T.
      I find no Satanism expressed in that song-
      it's actually very Biblical and artistically intense.
      If you watch a movie about someone dying and they scream, God help me, does that make it a religious movie?
      Also, if they are screaming God help me, it's because the devil is taking their soul for judgment and the person is begging the very one that put the devil in charge of that department is what the song is really about, the first moments leading and into death according to the stories.
      Anything iommi has to say about singing should be kept to himself, he has really become an idiot. Martin is a true artist

      @johnandjosiedoe Those songs were more of a historical nature than satanic dealing with events that happened in Britain. The way Tyr dealt with Norse Mythology on the following album then Cross Purposes dealing with superstition.
