Hi Tom, for some reason it won’t allow us to comment on your TH-cam video. You need to thread the cuff the other way, anti clockwise until it will not thread further. That issue won’t happen again then.
The silicone neck allows you to manipulate where you want to push the nozzle and can help you reduce suction by movement for release. If you do prefer stability then we already supply a brace for the neck on our website, for your kit the 51mm would be required.
    Hope this helps ☺️

I have the panther (1700w machine) with carbon push fit poles. It's running strong after 2.5 years. It works amazing for domestic work, may look at upgrading to the 3600w machine for commercial work at some point. I also have the GVS generator (2200w), absolute game changer in my opinion. I can turn up, get the clean done with no impact on the customer. Ofcourse you would need a suitably size genny for your vac, but definitely worth the investment. Especially if your hitting multiple gutter cleans in a day.
Great kit, great customer service. You won't regret the investment. Money earned back in 2-4 cleans 🎉 after that they are great earners as a bolt on to window cleaning along with pressure washing.
Enjoying your videos, keep them coming.

I keep looking for a generator, just waiting for one to come up on marketplace as the funds are running low and don’t want to buy new. Thanks for the comment, much appreciated 👍

That white filter is for dry guttering, you should have the blue/wet filter over the float valve bit.

That white filter is needed on this model, it needs to be dry when used as explained in the instructions, it’s the other models that have a different float protection.

@ get a spare and be very very careful putting it on, they are tight and rip quite easily.

Good video though mate, ally poles last far longer than carbon, keep using wd40 between poles just a small squirt will stop them sticking together when dirty/gritty. The bracket GVS sell to make the neck stiff is rubbish but occasionally useful, normally a bit of flex helps though. 👍

The GVS is not supplied with a blue sponge filter. The sponge is for the Panther, Shadow and Predator gutter vacuums which have a completely different float protection unit. The cloth filter for the GVS-36 is a wet or dry use filter but needs to be fully dry for dry use. The filter in this video is correct.

nice video. I recently upgraded to the Predator from GVS. same motors and power as the one you have. Good choice with the Aluminium poles, i've had them 4 years and they really take a beating. 3 storeys is no problem on 3 motors. you will get the hang of using it but I always have a camera on top connected to an old phone so I can see what i'm doing.

@Thetomrichardson from my experience the metal bracket was poor hard to stop from loosening but I'm a rough ass. I have carbon poles but I'm sure they will sell thr carbon necks for Ali poles

You’re clearly inexperienced. There’s nothing wrong with the hose cuff. It’s you that’s putting it on the wrong way.

CLEARLY! It’s the first time I’m using it, Julia @guttervacuumsystems has already been in touch and explained about the cuff and also that they do a brace to make the silicone neck rigid. But thanks for the experienced input, I’ll be in touch if I need anymore help.
