@@janetyamashige9573 idk about other nails techs but for me I like to soak in water but before I polish I do a full prep like if I was going to apply shellac and you can clean the nail with a little 100% acetone or 90 % alcohol

So far so good following your tutorial. I have problems with my polish floating off while washing dishes, or chipping off the next day after I do them of an evening watching tv. It being Thanksgiving yesterday, I washed what dishes got dirty while preparing the meal. Rinsed and stacked the dishes from the meal, and left them til today to do. I usually spend most of each day hand washing dishes. I took off the old polish I still had on last night and followed your tutorial. I've been washing the dishes from yesterday along with today's and so far no floating off and no chipping. I've had baked on, overdone, stuck to the bottom of the pan food and the manicure still looks good. I will be 63 in a week, my mom was a beautician and I've tried everything will see how long this holds up. I've had acrylic nails that would only hold a week. Thinking I have oily nails, I can't use super glue to hold a cracked nail either. Thank you so much.

@@brooke3140 when I use sheer polish I use a white base to get a better color payout and always do 2-3 layers of the sheer polish to get rid of the streakiness.

Olivier Orston she is from England but grew up in Quebec, and if she had an accent it would be a French Canadian one. Here she doesn’t sound like that. The French accent is very dominant so if she had an accent you would be able to hear it over the British impersonation. Also French Canadian accents are the only Canadian accent that I know

I have done my own nails for years, following these steps, and they always last a good week. The only problem I have is wear off the edges, probably in good part bc I do a lot of typing. I do cap the free edges. TFS ☺️
