Thank-you for this. Your concise talk brought together for me several things I have been reading about Tai Chi, about the background and deeper levels of Tai Chi. As a Christian, I lean towards the mystics and as I read about Jesus as a wisdom teacher his path was one of self-emptiness, of letting love flow through him, of giving away. The Christians call that "kenosis." My first experience living in China I had a visceral experience that at the bottom of the mountain our paths may be, or at least appear to be, far apart, yet we are climbing the same mountain and as we get closer to the summit, we can see that our paths are not as far apart as we once thought they were. I felt this again as I listened to your talk. Peace and grace to you.
