Doc, you said hold off on organic based products in the early season. Does that mean I should hold off on dirt booster on the lawn until around May/June?
Doc, thanks for all you do! I've learned a lifetime worth in 3 days. I'm installing zoysia in two days. I can't get my hands on the PGF Balance in time; however I have plenty of humichar I'm putting into the dirt (Georgia clay!). Would you recommend putting down Balance or organic 7-1-2 fertilizer as soon as possible or no? I know you say to leave it be but I want to get my clay to become fertile soil.

Hey Doc: I got hit pretty bad with Pythium Last summer. It did some some damage in a 10x10 area in my front yard. Took me a month to diagnose what fungus I had. That fungus is not cheap to treat. Any combos of fungicides to spray and when should I start for preventative measures. Off the topic, but… thx
Is humachar suitable for improving soils for landscaping shrubs and vegetable beds? BTW I enjoy your videos, in particular the explanations of the “how” and “why” of the timing and products you use.
Hi Doc thanks for your videos, Im now the unofficial "lawn guy" of my HOA thanks to your knowledge haha. Do you use Super Juice anymore? I personally avoid using it because is a pain to mix, Im hoping to replace it with Green Shocker.

Doc, after my soil test came back it showed I was low in Phosphorus. Last year you alternated PGF Balance and PGF Complete every 3 weeks in the Spring to get yours up. Did that work and if so when should I stop that back and forth?
Hi Doc! I need to use an organic pre-emergent because I have a sulcata tortoise that will be grazing in my yard but I also need to lay some sod down in some spots where our new puppy has been digging up some spots in the yard. Since the pre-emergent will be organic, will I still need to wait 6 weeks to lay the sod?

You have it listed in the lawn guides but you don't refer to it much in your videos as of late. Are you moving to strictly using Green Shocker and not Super Juice? Or, are you using both and just not talking about it? I have both and am thinking about alternating them weekly when the time it right. Not sure if that is the right approach to maximize the results?

Yes, wait until temps are in the 80s that's when you REALLY get the benefit.
@@HowTowithDoc perfect, just bought a bag of humichar to put down until summer time. Temps here are in the 70s with night time being in the 30s
So my lawn is still dormant, and i added preemergent about 2 weeks ago... did I just kill my lawn?

I only use the Dirt Booster now. You get the same organic matter levels and carbon as well.

You can use greenshocker instead. I'll hit the lawn this spring with it and the green.

Hey Doc, I know you have dogs too. How long do you keep you dogs off the lawn after watering these products in?

Hit it pretty hard for the first 3 apps then switch back over to the complete. then again in the fall.

There really isn't an EFFECTIVE organic PE. Corn gluten is used by some but it has been tested and found not to be very effective.
