    These lights look pretty kool - I was looking to purchase a pair of chauvet Intimidators 260s but $1,600 for a pair is pretty steep. Gonna give these Ukings a try. Thanks for the review 🔥

      I know what you mean... The big movers are super heavy and expensive and can be difficult to set up by yourself... These mini mover's pack a punch, super affordable really impressive when dmx'd together and honestly, for us DJ's who are out there working all the time, speed and ease of set up is worth it's weight in gold... Thanks for the comment

    • @DjGCue71
      @DjGCue71 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@DJMikeJames not necessarily. all movers set up the same if they have dmx. some movers are compact, light and power full. i bought some UKING moving head and returned them. the gobos were all blury, the colors on the gobos were way off, example a gobo will be like 30%one color and 70% another. So I got me me some chauvet 255 irc. Eliminator Lighting just released the stinger spot duo moving head. 30 watt LED, 11 inches high, only 7 lbs. 7 colors + white, 7 gobos only $299!

    Hello! I see that they have designs like the flower. Is there a way for them to stay one design (just a regular circle) while moving and changing colors?

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not that I know of, however it may be possible to isolate the gobo design with a dmx controller, however I've never tried it... if you can, please comment and let everyone else know... that'd be awesome! Thanks for watching 👀 🙂

    • @DJMikeJames

      I would get 4, only because it really opens up your dmx and reverse pan and tilt options for a fantastic stage effect... Thank you for your comment and viewership, it is appreciated 🙏

    I plan on running 4 of them in master slave mode but have other lights also. i'd like to turn these off with a light switch while the other lights are on. if i turn them off, will they de-program themselves which means it won't work because i have to set the master...A001...A002...A003 all over again?

    How do you put these into slave mode please? Would it be console mode or secondary mode?
    Many thanks

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To set these as slaves you just have to set them to a dmx address A001 etc... and push enter and then set the master on whatever show or setting that you desire

    Hi Mike,
    does they have an automatic show with slow / very slow moves and remote control? Thanks and greetz from germany! 🙋🏼‍♂️

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello my German friend and greetings! I do not believe that these have ir remotes however, I am running them on sound active in this video and I believe I can turn the sound sensitivity down to slow them down and the do have other preset shows in them, which I currently don't use, because I like it when the music speeds up or slows down I like the lights to react in kind and if dmx'd to a controller you have unlimited possibilities! Thank you for watching in your country and look forward to hearing from you again!

    I want to buy a struss/ or light mount, which you use or which did you recommend?

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Miguel, Thanks for the comment.. I really like the truss that I chose... I hav e the ProX X-LS35VC-TRUSS 15ft Wide Lighting System Triangle Truss Sections (Set of 3) this truss is super strong, stackable, open at the bottom which makes mounting lights way easier and comes with all the mounting hardware and reinforcement sleeves and is priced right around $179 so super affordable! I also recommend the ProX Universal T-Adapter Pair which i bought for about $75 for the pair. Don;t be fooled not all T-adapters are the same these can hold up to a 2" pipe so if at some point in the future you want to move to Global Trussing or Cedars Link trussing (which is way more affordable) you can use these mounting brackets that I purchased from idjnow.com I also seriously recommend ASC Crankstands they're around $80 a piece but worth their weight in gold with ease of opperation and as always I recommend Cedars link or ADJ "O" clamps to mount lighting instead of bolting through to mount. Thanks for the comment and let me know if you'd like anymore advice... Happy to help!!!

  • @Nailzy1985

    Maybe a daft question - how do you make the pairs next to each other move in the 'opposite' direction? Is that a feature of a controller you are using?

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. I'm currently not using a controller... They are all dmx'd together, but the lights are programmable and I have them all numbered to go in a specific order on the truss and just reverse pan and tilt on every other one... so on mine 1&3 match and 2&4 match... just easier for me that way.

    Is there a way to get them to focus on one spot and simply rotate?

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only way to get these or any moving head to do that (really) would be with a dmx controller, at which point you could individually set the x and y axis along with color and gobo pattern and you could set and save scenes, but the light themselves do not have that amount of control built into them...

    • @DJMikeJames
      @DJMikeJames  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice choice, I absolutely love this light... spacing them really depends on how and where your mounting them, I like them to be evenly spaced and I reverse pan and tilt every other one and that's how I get that back and forth effect.... you can also put these on totems for a more elegant setup 👌
