One of our dogs bit the grates on his gate to the point of us needing to put plexiglass with wires to hold it on the inside to prevent him from biting them together and getting out. that might help in the future, plus we try to put on a radio or tv to help with the noise of thunder or fireworks. love your podcast!
I switched to a Whirlwind toe the last few pairs of socks and love how it fits. Yarmando has instructions. Love the podcast as always.

Lots of great wips:) and for the puppy have you tried leaving music on to help cover the sounds, or tv/family videos- sounds, and possibly diffusing some antianxiety essential oils? Hang in there I am sure you will figure it out and good luck with the school year for the boys! In Arizona we have already started a few weeks ago.

Hi Kay. That Biscotte Yarn in colorway Sorcerer's Uniform is fabulous and it does stripe. I did a pair of Bullseye Socks on their sparkling base. I was randomly watching videos and I gotta say you had me at Yuma, Arizona. This is where I live. I like the video. I am trying to learn how to knit. I am attempting my first project. I have already ripped it 3 times. I would love to someday be good enough to make a pair of socks. Can you recommend an easy beginner pattern?
Dazy Dook Hey! Are you on the Yuma Crafters group on Facebook? If not make sure to look it up. It's a group that I started when I lived there and some wonderful ladies have kept it going! They meet 1-2 times a week and are super nice and helpful.
As far as a beginner pattern goes, what type of item are you wanting to make for your first project?
Right now I am working on the pussy cat hat. My fourth try, but it is coming along. If you could recommend a super easy sock pattern. I will have to check out that Facebook group. Thanks.
What is "mini heel flap adjustment"?
JoJo Rey It is included in Mina Philipps patterns as an addition to her German Short Row Heel. Gives you a mini heel flap to allow for more room if you have a higher instep. 🙂

Ok look in the crafty section inbetween the buttons and the paracords and it should be there and theyre plastic so easier for little kid hands to use
How many stitches do you cast on for your sons socks?
Jill Bracewell 56-60 stitches depending on which of my sons they are for and the thickness of the yarn. :)
