The place to be it seems, and surprisingly enough, is Reddit. They have a very active and dedicated subreddit community called simply r/SKS. The majority, or at least half of the regular users and new comers are Canadian. Fascination with the Type 56 has become a regular hobby for me at this point. NY State Legislation has also gotten stricter since September 2022, as Residents are now required to have a License for semiautomatic rifles in either center fire or rim fire. Amusingly enough, the law excludes semiauto shotguns. 🤣 In any case, those who owned semis prior to the September 22 law, are “grandfathered” in and excluded. But they can no longer purchase additional semis until they have a license. And from what I’m hearing, it’s taking at least a year to process and is not cheap as it requires range hours with instructors in order to obtain. You guys however, have the PAL as an obtainable key to collecting these amazingly niche and under appreciated collectors pieces. My dream for me is to have a mint 1980 /26\ for my birth year as well as the end of an Era at Jianshe State Arsenal 296. /26\ but it will most likely never come true. Not unless I get Canadian citizenship and wait however long to be eligible for PAL. How long is the wait for new citizens btw? 5 years?

@@hztac48 Correct. 1980 was the last year for milspec Type 56 production at State Arsenal 296 /26\ as well as all the other many state arsenals which existed. 1980 also marks the year of my birth and of the founding of Norinco by the Chinese government. Norinco stepped in to manufacture “sporting grade” SKS’s for the civilian markets of Canada and the US. They were decent quality but not military grade by any means. Norinco acted as the exporter and assisted many US importers to make their own unique SKS product like the short Paratrooper which was made by Norinco for a California based imported called KSI, or K-Sports International.
18年前我买了把成色很好的苏联sks所有枪部件编号都是一样的，当时买280加币。由于中国情节4年前又买了把56半200加币，但成色不大好，该枪部件编号都是不同的。关于7.62×39口径子弹我家还有一把捷克的cz527那把是我14年前老婆怀孕的时候送给老婆的。

10天前用1支56半在魁北克猎获了1头200磅公熊，1颗7.62x39 sp 子弹在100英尺射穿了它的胸腔，它跑进树林200英尺倒下，发出惊天动地的叫声。在靶场用56半和Norinco红盒在100码可以打到5个MOA。

我的SKS是俄罗斯Izhmash机械局在2019年10月04号签发的出厂合格证，枪身编号C33**。因为不懂俄文，Itzmash是不是塔山机械局，请大神指教。
枪身使用核桃木，枣红色的底色配黑色波浪纹，表面有很浓厚的树脂漆，贴在脸部容易滑动，不利于精确射击。但外观十分华丽，仿佛一件古董。
刺刀折叠于枪管下方，银灰色镀烙，两面开刃。套筒做工精良，铁黑色的圆筒，布满鱿鱼刀花，一点都不滑手。
弹仓容量十发，没有配备条形弹夹，必须自己一发一发往里塞。
瞄准是前准星后V型槽，但开口相当狭小，瞄准的时候，准星挡住大半个目标，你都不知道自己瞄的是胸还是腹。不得不花钱找到一位枪械师用锉刀把V型口一刀一刀挫成U型口。
扳机的感觉，相当干涩。仿佛是在拧一颗生锈的螺母，力量轻了拧不动，稍微力量大一点就打滑，完全没有精确的扭力扳手的感觉。
该枪唯一的优点，枪身消瘦轻薄，很容易携带。我曾经肩膀上挂着枪，外面套了一件风衣，大街上走半天，居然没人认出。当然不鼓励大家这样做，毕竟条子会找你麻烦，轻则罚款，重则罚很大一笔款。
改进意见：如果把机械瞄准拆了，改装一个光学瞄准镜，杀伤威力瞬间提高，300米距离打一个半身靶子驾轻就熟。如果是晚上，换成红点瞄准镜，以7.62x39的杀伤威力看，实在是看家护院的利器，因为你家围墙会被一枪打穿，哪怕歹徒躲在围墙后面。
我对SKS研究不多，不过Izhmash应该是著名的开发生产AK47的伊热夫斯克军工厂民营改制后的名字。苏联大部分的SKS是图拉兵工厂1950年代生产的，伊热夫斯克也少量产过。你的这把可能是Izhmash翻新后出口的枪。我没有用过苏联原产的SKS，但56半的准星扳机都很好用，准确性也非常好

@@hztac48 中国外销的56半换装了体育射击的扳机，很轻并且行程短 。我手里这把是原装的战斗版，扣动艰涩，预防走火。

在加拿大，如果只能保留一支枪，我选56半。 买了3支56半，1支sks。前者更轻更准，机瞄100码3～4个MOA。

@@Cat-shxt-1准不准要看做什么用，如果射击比赛，当然不够准。但打猎又不是做微创手术，100码4个MOA相当于一枪爆头，事实上绝大多数猎人都不会在超过100码的距离开枪。

你说的就是dry fire吧。centerfire的枪dry fire一般都没事，不过如果经常频繁dry fire的话最好还是用教练弹

弹匣没子弹的时候会空仓挂机，枪机回不去。弹匣打开的时候不会卡。看看是不是没有清洁干净

这个枪我一直有个疑问，子弹装上后合上，子弹就上膛了，除了扳机保险其实是有走火的危险，那这枪在打仗前要不不上子弹要不就是处于可击发状态（当然可以不合上枪盖）？
枪在备战状态都是子弹上膛的，包括防身的手枪。走火风险什么枪都会有，但是上保险后走火的几率非常低
56半是设计用来打仗，且经历过战场考验，可以放心。我在进入打猎区域时，56半是一直上膛的，当发现猎物时再解除保险。
神思考
用拇指壓住子彈後再合上，子彈就可以不上膛，從下面打開彈倉裝入子彈再合上彈倉，子彈也可以不上膛。
其實扳機上方的保險是可靠的，幾乎不可能失效。

打完不仔细清洁的话枪就会腐蚀生锈，所以叫做腐蚀弹

對於中國的五六半而言，不會有問題，因為除了除了初期的極少量試制槍之外，所有的中國產56半槍管膛內表面都經過滲鉻處理，既增加了槍管內側的耐磨硬度，也能有效地防止槍管內銹蝕。
前蘇聯的SKS有部分是滲鉻的，也有相當多的是不滲鉻的，而南斯拉夫生產的全部SKS全部都未經滲鉻處理。
@@hztac48 兩類擊發底火材料中，有一種是有腐蝕作用的，但近年生產的彈藥中，用這類底火的彈藥有效儲存時間比較短，除了年代很久的彈藥外，市面上已極少出現，買彈藥時刻問商家是不是corrosive的，如果是的話不買就是了。
