I think the explanation for Yuta being able to copy Sukuna’s cleave is as simple as, in his domain he can copy the curse technique of the target without any conditions or with a very minimal one(getting hit by it).

Ok so I’ve seen a theory going around on how Yuta gained Sukunas CT, way back in chapter 12 when Gojo was telling Yuji about how he didn’t have a cursed technique. Gojo mentioned that Yujis body would be stained with Sukunas CT, what if Yuji somehow gained Sukunas CT and that is what allowed Yuta to copy it.
